Summary
Synopsis:
Jiang Zhou and Cheng Bing grew up together as childhood friends, but they’ve never been able to stand the sight of each other. Jiang Zhou thinks Cheng Bing is a “stone-faced poser,” while Cheng Bing finds Jiang Zhou incredibly high-maintenance and annoying.
That is, until one day, they both transmigrate into a parallel ABO world and differentiate into opposite genders—where only each other’s pheromones can provide any relief.
Jiang Zhou: “Why the hell is he an Alpha and I’m an Omega?!”
Cheng Bing: “…”
In order to figure out how to get home and tackle their obstacles together, the two declare an emergency ceasefire and decide to move in together.
But the cohabitation immediately hits a snag.
Jiang Zhou’s pheromones spike abnormally, leaving him feverish and lightheaded. He mutters, “Bro, I think you actually smell kind of good.”
Cheng Bing: “…”
Jiang Zhou continues, “Bro, let me get a hit of your pheromones, and we can call it even on everything from the past.”
Cheng Bing replies coldly, “I am not your ‘bro’.”
Typical Cheng Bing, still acting like a prick even now.
Feeling thoroughly humiliated, Jiang Zhou snaps, “Fine! Don’t let me then! I’d rather die right here, die out in the street, or jump off this building before I take a single sniff of you!”
Cheng Bing: “Oh.”
Ten minutes later:
“Actually, there’s no need for us to be so hostile…” Jiang Zhou says, clinging to the doorframe. He looks at Cheng Bing piteously, all his usual arrogance completely drained away.
His heartbeat thunders in his ears. In that moment, Cheng Bing thinks to himself: Pheromones truly are a miraculous thing.
He gazes at Jiang Zhou, and Jiang Zhou stares back with soft, watery eyes, whispering:
“Could you… just give me a bite? Please?”
