Synopsis: 

Eighteenth-tier actress Chen Ge finally lands her first job in a year: appearing on a web variety show produced by an equally obscure eighteenth-tier production team. Yet her slightly more popular promotional CP partner openly praises her while subtly putting her down throughout the show.

Just as Chen Ge wavers between quitting on the spot and swallowing her anger for the paycheck, her promotional CP partner is suddenly replaced. The entire show’s script is rewritten, and the tiny web variety show that had once been so obscure it was practically nonexistent unexpectedly becomes a huge hit, frequently trending on social media.

Not long afterward, Chen Ge even receives an invitation to audition for the female lead in a major film backed by an award-winning production team.

Award-winning screenwriter Luo Jingyi accepts an old friend’s desperate, tearful invitation to participate in a web variety show as an ordinary amateur. Unexpectedly, after joining the cast, she accidentally overhears a young actress making a heartfelt confession:

It is only much later that Luo Jingyi discovers that the heartfelt confession that made her long-dormant heart bloom again was something she had never freaking heard in full.
