Summary
Synopsis:
Ye Wanyin was selected by an unscrupulous system and forced to transmigrate into a romance novel as the “best friend” of the “love-brain” female lead.
In the original story, the female lead started dating in middle school and went through Male Lead 1, 2, 3, and 4—getting together with them for various reasons and breaking up for various reasons.
Eventually, the author seemingly gave up. The final chapter of the novel consisted of a single sentence: “Because the female lead was too focused on dating, her grades were terrible; she failed the college entrance exams. The End.”
Ye Wanyin’s mission: Pull the female lead back onto the right path and get her into university.
Straight-A student Ye Wanyin adjusted her glasses: “Not difficult.”
However, after a while, Ye Wanyin realized things weren’t that simple.
When Ye Wanyin told her to pay attention in class, she pulled a phone out of her desk: “Sorry, I have to text my boyfriend.”
When Ye Wanyin told her to do homework after class, she walked out with her hands in her pockets: “Sorry, I have a date with my boyfriend.”
When Ye Wanyin told her to stay for tutoring after school, she didn’t even look back: “Sorry, I have to go home and make a ‘love bento’ for my boyfriend’s breakfast tomorrow.”
Ye Wanyin: “…”
Seeing zero progress on her mission, Ye Wanyin finally lost her patience. One day after school, she cornered her: “Tell me, what will it take for you to listen to me?”
The other girl brushed past her: “I only listen to my boyfriend.”
Later, when the heroine got her heart broken, Ye Wanyin seized the opportunity: “No boyfriend? Do you want to try having a girlfriend instead?”
