Summary
Synopsis:
Alpha Shen Qingshu transmigrates into the heir of a count’s household—one who is actually a woman disguised as a man.
Fine then. Passing the imperial examinations, entering officialdom, and restoring the count’s estate to glory—this is a duty people like us cannot shirk.
But why does she also have a fiancée arranged for her since before birth?
She only wants to be a single dog. She tries every method she can think of to break off the engagement, only to be teased by her fiancée into putting on an act. After the wedding, she has no choice but to keep her distance.
Shen Qingshu: “Men and women should not be overly intimate. Stay away from me.”
Lin Weizhi: “But aren’t you naturally impotent?”
The two of them originally had nothing to do with each other. But later, Shen Qingshu discovers that her wife can actually replace suppressants, allowing her to calm down during the few days of her susceptible period. With no other choice, she has to shamelessly follow Lin Weizhi around.
Shen Qingshu: “Can I sleep while holding you?”
Lin Weizhi: “What happened to staying away from me?”
Shen Qingshu: “Please don’t misunderstand. It’s only because those few days of the month have come.”
Lin Weizhi: “???”
Later still, when Official Shen attends court, wearing her official hat and robes with solemn authority, she truly cuts a figure of crimson lips and jade-like beauty. Mm… it would be even better if there were no kiss marks on the back of her neck.
“So it turns out your attraction to me isn’t limited to my susceptible period.”
P.S. This is relatively slow-burn. I’m bad at writing blurbs. Roughly speaking, it is a marriage-before-love story, with some elements of imperial examinations and officialdom.
