A Paranoid Alpha Childhood Friend is Acting Spoiled Again - Chapter 1
Little Sun Kindergarten.
Class Two, during recess—
A sharp wail suddenly erupted from near the back door of the classroom. Every child’s attention was instantly snatched by the sound, and they scrambled from their seats to gather around and watch.
There stood a little girl with shoulder-length hair, dressed in a cool denim jumpsuit. She was currently scolding a chubby little boy who stood opposite her, his face covered in rolls of fat and streaming with desperate tears.
“What are you crying for? Stop crying!”
The short-haired girl’s clever eyes flickered. Feeling that her words weren’t quite authoritative enough, she changed her tone and roared: “Actually, how do you have the nerve to cry?! You better hold those tears back for this Young Lady!”
Frightened by the threat, the chubby boy cried even harder. His tears fell like pearls from a broken string, impossible to stop. “Nuo… Nuo Fanxi, you… you’re a bully! Wahhh—”
Seeing the boy crying so hard and Nuo Fanxi looking so fierce, the other children instinctively assumed that Nuo Fanxi was the one bullying him.
Immediately, the Class Monitor stepped forward and began to lecture Nuo Fanxi in front of everyone.
“Nuo Fanxi, the teacher said we aren’t allowed to bully our classmates. You’re going too far!”
Nuo Fanxi felt an immediate wave of grievance and shot back, “Monitor, I didn’t bully him at all! He was bullying Momo! I only scolded him after I caught him doing it! You’re taking his side without even knowing the truth—you’re the one going too far!”
The Class Monitor found it hard to judge who was right or wrong. After all, children’s perceptions are quite shallow. Seeing the chubby boy crying louder and louder, the Monitor hesitated and asked, “If you didn’t bully him, why is he crying so sadly? Besides, the teacher taught us that hitting first is wrong. Nuo Fanxi, you hit him, so you have to apologize to Zhou Kai.”
“What? You want me to apologize to him?”
“Yeah, you hit someone, so you have to apologize. That’s what the teacher taught us.”
Nuo Fanxi’s face flushed red with anger. Finally, unable to take it anymore, she rolled up her sleeves and prepared to rush forward to give the chubby boy another beating.
But just as she lifted her foot, a small hand grabbed her from behind.
Until now, everyone’s attention had been fixed on Nuo Fanxi and Zhou Kai; they hadn’t even noticed another little girl standing behind Nuo Fanxi. Likely due to the height difference, she had been completely hidden by Nuo Fanxi’s body. Now that she reached out, the other children finally saw her.
“Xixi, I’m okay.”
The little girl wore a floral dress and had her hair in two long braids tied with beautiful ribbons. However, the ribbon on one of her braids had been ripped off, and the hair was half-unraveled. She was gripping the end of the braid tightly with her hand to keep it from falling apart completely.
Nuo Fanxi turned around, huffing with rage. “Momo, how can you say you’re okay?! Zhou Kai went too far, I have to teach him a lesson for you!”
With that, Nuo Fanxi broke free from Tang Mo’s grip, shoved the Class Monitor aside, and directly grabbed Zhou Kai by his short, sprout-like hair.
“Do you dare do it again?!”
Zhou Kai wailed in pain, but he refused to say he wouldn’t do it again; instead, his cries grew even louder.
The other children didn’t dare intervene. They all knew that Nuo Fanxi was a famous “little devil” in class—she picked fights with everyone and everything, and she didn’t even let the teachers off the hook. Soon, Zhou Kai’s crying attracted children from other classes.
Seeing the situation, the Class Monitor ran off to find a teacher.
Since this happened in broad daylight, many teachers saw it, including some who were well-acquainted with the parents. Within a mere ten minutes, Zhou Kai’s parents arrived at the school in a towering rage.
“Teacher Li, my son has been well-behaved and obedient since he was a baby. He would never bully other kids. But today, this girl actually hit him in front of everyone! As his teacher, you must give me an explanation!”
Teacher Li was a fresh university graduate and wasn’t very experienced in handling these situations. Faced with Zhou Kai’s agitated parents, she was momentarily at a loss.
“Mother Zhou, please calm down, calm down. I will definitely give you both an explanation, but the facts aren’t entirely clear yet, so if you could just…”
“What isn’t clear?! Didn’t you see my son was beaten to tears by that girl? Other teachers already told me—that girl grabbed my son’s hair and wouldn’t let go! She even threatened him, saying if he told the teacher, she’d beat him to death!” Mother Zhou was acting like an unreasonable shrew, pointing and shouting at Teacher Li. “And you! How are you even a teacher? Something this terrible happens and you, the head teacher, are the last to know! If something happens to my son, forget you—even the Principal won’t hear the end of it!”
Teacher Li thought to herself that the woman was exaggerating wildly. Threatening to beat him to death? Nuo Fanxi was such a smart girl; she would never be that stupid.
However, she couldn’t say that to the parents’ faces. She could only keep trying to persuade them: “Mother Zhou, Father Zhou, please calm down. The kindergarten has surveillance cameras. We can check the footage to see who started it and why. The school will definitely handle this!”
The moment the parents heard about checking the surveillance, they exploded, acting as if they couldn’t wait another second. Dropping all pretenses, they began to hurl insults.
“Teacher Li, what do you mean by that? Why do we need to check the cameras? Are you implying my son started it and that little brat only hit him in response?!”
Mother Zhou was like a complete savage, pointing her finger right in Teacher Li’s face and backing her into a corner. “I’m telling you, Teacher Li, I only call you ‘Teacher’ out of respect for my son. Instead of sticking up for my son, you’re standing up for that brat! Do you know what this kind of favoritism is called? It’s school bullying! If you don’t deal with that girl today—no, call her parents here too! They need to apologize to my son together! Otherwise, believe me, I’ll report you to the Education Bureau and make sure you never work as a teacher again!”
Teacher Li had never met such unreasonable, barbaric parents. Communication was impossible. She could only sigh and say, “Father Zhou, Mother Zhou, I understand your feelings. I have already called Nuo Fanxi’s parents. Please be patient.”
While they were speaking, Nuo Fanxi entered the office holding Tang Mo’s hand, followed by a sobbing Zhou Kai.
Zhou Kai had actually stopped crying, but once he saw his parents in the office, he felt he had found his protectors and immediately buried himself in his mother’s arms, wailing again.
Father and Mother Zhou were heartbroken. Mother Zhou, in particular, looked as if her own heart was being torn out. Once she calmed Zhou Kai down, she immediately lunged at Nuo Fanxi and Tang Mo, raising her hand to slap them.
But Nuo Fanxi had been a wild child from the start. Her family had taught her: don’t attack unless attacked. Even facing an adult, she wasn’t going to stand there and get hit.
She let go of Tang Mo’s hand and threw both arms up to shield her face.
Smack!
Mother Zhou’s slap was extremely forceful, but she hadn’t expected a tiny girl like Nuo Fanxi to block. The slap landed squarely on Nuo Fanxi’s forearm.
“You little brat! You did something wrong and you still dare to fight back? I’ll teach you a lesson on behalf of your parents today!”
Mother Zhou raised her hand to strike again, but just as she did, she suddenly lost her balance and stumbled to the side.
Teacher Li looked up in shock. It turned out that little Tang Mo, standing to the side, had used all her strength to shove Mother Zhou to the left, preventing the violence.
“Don’t… don’t hit Xixi! Xixi didn’t do anything wrong!”
Tang Mo was actually terrified. Her small body was shaking after she pushed the woman; she had never encountered such a scary adult. The teachers at school, the neighbors at home, and the adults in their neighborhood were all kind and gentle, often buying her treats.
They weren’t like this person, who started hitting people the moment she arrived.
Seeing her trembling, Nuo Fanxi stepped forward and hugged Tang Mo, patting her back firmly to comfort her. “Don’t be afraid, Momo. The teacher already called my parents. They’ll be here soon. If that bad woman dares to touch us again, my parents will teach them a lesson!”
Mother Zhou couldn’t believe it. It was bad enough her son was bullied, but now this brat was teaming up with another one to attack her? She was livid and prepared to strike again.
Teacher Li had thought the parents were just being loud and unreasonable, but seeing them actually try to hit such small children, she rushed over to stand in front of Nuo Fanxi and Tang Mo. She warned: “Mother Zhou, let’s talk this through. If you lay a hand on these children, there are cameras in this office. If anything happens to them, you will be held fully responsible.”
Father Zhou, who was comforting Zhou Kai, snapped as well. “Held responsible for what? Teacher Li, look at this girl! She’s so young and already dares to hit an adult—what will she be like when she grows up? It just proves her parents are the same kind of people to raise such a bad kid! My wife is just educating her on their behalf so she doesn’t grow up to be a menace to…”
“A menace to who?”
At the sound of the voice, everyone turned toward the office door.
When Nuo Fanxi saw Nuo Lin and Tao Wanqing standing at the door, her eyes lit up instantly. She ran over and hugged their legs. “Daddy, Mommy! There are bad people who want to hit me and Momo!”
