Summary
Synopsis:
Due to the grudges of the previous generation, Si Ye was swapped at birth with an illegitimate son. Eventually pushed off a cliff by that same illegitimate son, Si Ye’s dying breath of hatred and resentment summoned a demon from a high tower. To seek revenge, he entered a mysterious “Game.”
When the game ended and he returned to reality, the demon followed him.
During a variety show, Si Ye’s identity as the “illegitimate son” (a lie orchestrated by his enemies) was exposed, and netizens rushed to defend the “victim.” That is, until the real illegitimate son fell into the water. Si Ye ignored him to save a teammate; when the illegitimate son was finally hauled out by others, he lunged at Si Ye, clutching his sleeve and sobbing hysterically: “Brother, I was wrong! Please don’t abandon me!”
Netizens: “?”
Later, on a supernatural challenge show, Netizens joked: “It’s just for entertainment, who actually believes in ghosts?”
But during the Ghost City challenge, a mutation occurred. Eerie creatures crawled from the earth. Just as the situation turned dire, the creatures were ensnared by countless golden threads from Si Ye’s hands, turning to ash in the night wind. As Si Ye plummeted from a high-rise, a demon shattered through the glass, catching him in a tight embrace before he hit the ground.
Live Stream Viewers: “…Wow, they can do special effects on live TV now? Impressive. Also, does his friend have horns on his head? Haha…”
When the horror games finally descend upon reality and live streams begin globally, despair and terror spread through the population. Si Ye, accompanied by his demon, charges into the fray.
Watching what looks like a stage performance of one-sided slaughter as Si Ye clears floor after floor of the game, the once-terrified Netizens are stunned: “He… he just insta-kills them the moment they show their heads?”
Netizens (Slowly becoming numb): “Phew… we [humans] are actually pretty OP.”
