Summary
Synopsis:
The first time Meng Buqing met Ji Wan, she saw a woman eight years her senior with pin-straight hair, enchanting red lips, and a five-figure suitcase in hand.
She was vibrantly beautiful—the living image of a “wicked queen” from a fairy tale.
The woman said: “You can call me Auntie Ji.”
When Ji Wan moved into her home, Meng Buqing’s only goal was peaceful coexistence. She aimed for equality, friendliness, and a “mind your own business” lifestyle.
One day, after Meng Buqing had picked up Ji Wan’s packages, cooked her dinner, and bought her snacks, she decided to head out for a long-awaited night of clubbing.
She crept toward the entryway, hand just touching the doorknob, when a cold, indifferent voice drifted from behind her:
“You haven’t even finished your practice problems. Where do you think you’re going?”
“…”
Meng Buqing: Do problems? I think YOU’RE the problem. 🙂
