After Differentiating into an O, Pampered by an A - Chapter 1
JY Bar
Inside a private VIP room
The lighting was dim, and the air was thick with heavy perfume, the scent of alcohol, and a stinging hint of tobacco.
The cocktail of smells nauseated Ye Xing. Her stomach churned violently, and her head felt as if it were splitting open.
“Ye Xing, you doing okay? Where’s that fresh little Omega you invited? Still not here yet?”
She heard someone speaking.
Ye Xing felt a weight on her body. She struggled to open her eyes, and as the scene before her came into focus, her breath hitched: Holy crap, what kind of ‘paradise on earth’ is this?
Right in front of her, a woman was straddling her lap. Her slender fingers were lazily massaging Ye Xing’s temples, and her sexy V-neck dress perfectly outlined the soft, white curves of her chest.
Faced with such a “weapon” of a chest in such close proximity, Ye Xing felt like she couldn’t breathe.
Where am I?
Hadn’t she just turned off the lights to go to sleep?
As a “little lesbian,” she didn’t think she was bold enough to seek out a woman like this.
Just then, a weak, panting voice whispered in her ear: “Ye Xing, why don’t we find somewhere else? I can give you a much… more comfortable massage.”
As the woman spoke, a wave of floral scent wafted into Ye Xing’s nose. The smell was so overwhelming it made her head spin, and she felt a surge of revulsion.
Frowning, she said, “…Um, big sister, could you please get off me? You’re literally going to crush me to death.”
Without waiting for the woman’s reaction, Ye Xing pushed her off.
Perhaps the movement was too sudden; a wave of dizziness hit her, and memories came rushing back like a tide.
Within seconds, Ye Xing realized the truth: she had transmigrated! She was now the “scumbag Alpha” of the same name from the novel she had been reading right before bed!
In the book, Ye Xing was a minor, “sauce-maker” (background) cannon-fodder character.
Blessed with a pretty face, she was discovered by a scout on the street. Relying on a few beautiful photos, she quickly gained fame and gathered a large following of “visual-only” fans.
Seeing her potential, the company poured resources into her. Unfortunately, Ye Xing had no vision. Once she became famous, her ego inflated to the point of explosion.
She was a notorious playgirl, chasing both Alphas and Omegas (AO) without distinction. Her reputation in the industry plummeted, and she completely ruined a winning hand.
Later, she turned into a “human stallion.” Overcome by her pheromones, she organized a gathering with a group of “fair-weather friends” and invited a fan via WeChat, whom she then forcibly marked.
Little did she know, that fan was the young niece of the Alpha female lead, Shen Yushu.
As for the female lead, Ye Xing had a very deep impression…
Shen Yushu: the head of the Shen family, strikingly beautiful with a powerful aura. She was the number one female Alpha in Jiangcheng, the one all Omegas lusted after.
When the female lead found out about the marking, she lived up to her reputation as someone who was “ruthless but spoke little.” She captured the scumbag Alpha, dug out her glands, ruined her reputation until she was a shell of a person, and finally sent her to a mental asylum to be tortured to death.
It truly fit the saying: “To die beneath the peonies, to be a playboy even as a ghost…”
Thinking of this, Ye Xing felt a chill in her glands, but what came next was even colder.
The author of this book had dropped the story halfway through, so Ye Xing’s knowledge was limited. She only knew that her character didn’t even survive past Chapter 10 before offending the female lead and “kicking the bucket.”
As for what happened after that, only God knew!
However, looking at the current situation, tonight was her “life-or-death” match!
What kind of start is this? Where’s the promised ‘golden finger’? Where’s the ‘OP female lead’ storyline? Where’s the system?
Don’t cannon-fodder characters deserve one?
You damn author, how are you going to pay back the lives you owe to us cannon-fodders?
“Ye Xing, what are you doing? You hurt Chuchu! Come here, Chuchu, come massage me instead.”
A sharp voice came from the side. It was the same female Alpha who had mocked Ye Xing earlier.
Ye Xing snapped completely awake and surveyed her surroundings.
The crystal table was covered with bottles—red wine, white spirits, foreign liquors—every bottle looked expensive, a display of squandering wealth.
Explicit, abstract paintings hung on the walls, appealing to both refined and vulgar tastes.
Three or four female Alphas were lounging on the sofas, each with an Omega in her arms. The scene was pure debauchery.
Based on her blurry memories, Ye Xing recognized them. They were some “rich second-generation” trash friends the original host had made outside the industry—people who loved to gather every day to “play” with Omegas.
A bunch of scumbag Alphas!
Ye Xing didn’t want to stay for another second. Looking at the situation, Shen Yushu’s niece, her “death warrant,” hadn’t arrived yet. If she didn’t save herself now, when would she?
“Uh…”
Just as she was about to speak, Ye Xing felt her throat as if it had been slashed by the wind—it hurt like hell.
Damn! How much did the original host drink?
Rubbing her slender neck, Ye Xing said in a low voice, her face full of disgust as she waved them off: “I’m leaving. I’m not playing anymore.”
Spotting the only glass of plain water on the table, she didn’t think twice. She grabbed it and drained it in one gulp.
“Hey, Ye Xing, where are you running to? Did you fail to reel in that fresh little Omega fan? You feeling embarrassed?”
“Exactly! We just finished recording the show today, so we came out to celebrate for you. Why are you going back?”
“Hurry up, ask where she is. I heard she’s the prettiest one among your fans. We’re all itching to see her!”
The group started jeering, and even the Omegas covered their mouths and giggled.
Ye Xing’s face instantly darkened, turning red and then pale with anger.
Fortunately, the dim light in the room hid her expression. Without a word, Ye Xing grabbed her jacket and bag, stepping out in her crystal-encrusted high heels.
“Tch, she really thinks she’s a big shot. She’s nothing.”
The moment the door closed, Ye Xing heard the bursts of laughter from inside.
She took a deep breath. Stay calm. Don’t get angry. After all, what they said is the truth…
Leaving the private room, Ye Xing quickly pressed the elevator button. It felt as if the entire building was a cage imprisoning her; she would only feel safe once she was out.
Ding—
The elevator doors opened. Ye Xing stepped inside, and as they closed, she felt a momentary illusion of a narrow escape.
In the mirror-like reflection of the doors, Ye Xing saw her own appearance clearly.
She had a face shape somewhere between oval and heart-shaped. Her eyes were bright and spirited, and her beautiful aegyo-sal (eye bags) added a touch of romantic affection to her gaze. Her brow and nose bridge were high, her features defined and exquisite, and her lips were full and sexy.
Her voluminous, gauzy pink hair cascaded over her shoulders, and her black organza dress outlined a perfect waist-to-hip ratio. She looked like a black rose blooming quietly in the dark of night.
Both pure and seductive.
Ye Xing was dazed by her own reflection. She couldn’t believe this was her. For a mere cannon-fodder character, isn’t being this beautiful a bit over the top?
The protagonist must feel a lot of pressure!
Ding—
The elevator reached the first floor. Ye Xing put on her jacket and walked out, when a familiar figure caught the corner of her eye.
It was a young girl who had just stepped into the elevator next to hers, without seeing her.
Ye Xing paused, feeling the girl looked familiar, but she didn’t dwell on it.
She opened her phone, ready to leave for good, when she saw a WeChat notification.
[Shen Xiaoqian: Ye Xing, I’m here. Where are you?]
Shen Xiaoqian? The female lead’s niece?
Ye Xing’s mind went blank for two seconds, followed by a tingling sensation on her scalp.
[Shen Xiaoqian: I’m coming up now. Is it Room 301?]
Ye Xing wanted to reply, but there wasn’t enough time. Almost without thinking, she broke into a run. She charged into the emergency staircase, her five-centimeter heels clicking loudly as she bolted toward the third floor.
“Grandmother Death Warrant, are you worried I’m not dying fast enough?”
Ye Xing slammed open the third-floor fire door, startling the passing waiters.
“Miss, is there anything I can help you with?”
Panting, Ye Xing waved them off. Following the room number signs, she ran forward and disappeared around the corner.
At the turn, Ye Xing saw the girl at the door of the VIP room. She was wearing white sneakers, a simple denim dress, and a high ponytail—she radiated a youthful energy.
At the door, Shen Xiaoqian was also very nervous. Her family didn’t allow her to chase stars. Being followed by her idol on Weibo and having her WeChat was like a dream.
And there was something even more exciting than a dream: Today, Ye Xing had actually invited her out. Although she was worried, this was the Ye Xing she supported and loved.
On an impulse, Shen Xiaoqian had come without telling her family.
Her idol was just inside. Shen Xiaoqian was scared to death. Just as she reached out to knock on the door, she was suddenly yanked away by a force from the side and dragged toward the elevator.
Shen Xiaoqian was terrified. She struggled and screamed, “Who are you?! Let me go! He—”
The word “Help” was stuck in her throat as Ye Xing reached the elevator and let go.
“Shen Xiaoqian, right? Are you even eighteen? Why are you coming to a place like this?” Ye Xing’s tone was stern, like a dean of students.
Of course, after speaking, she didn’t forget to glance back at the private room. Seeing no movement, she sighed in relief.
The people locked in there were wolves and tigers; a little white rabbit like Shen Xiaoqian would be eaten until not even the bones remained.
Shen Xiaoqian rubbed her reddened wrist. She looked up, ready to snap, but when she saw who it was, her eyes widened in shock.
“Ye Xing!!!”
Her voice was so loud it attracted the attention of the nearby waiters.
Perhaps because the original host was a regular, the staff here weren’t surprised by a celebrity like her.
Fearing the people in the room would hear, Ye Xing grabbed Shen Xiaoqian as soon as the elevator opened and left.
Back on the first floor, Ye Xing’s heart finally settled.
Does this count as saving Shen Yushu’s niece? Can I survive past Chapter 10 and stop being cannon fodder now?
Shen Xiaoqian was baffled by Ye Xing’s actions. You invite me here, and then you drag me away as soon as I arrive?
She wanted to ask, but she followed obediently.
Looking at the alluring night scene outside, Ye Xing walked out of the hall and stopped at the edge of the steps.
She turned and asked, “Did you drive here or take a taxi?”
“I drove.”
Shen Xiaoqian didn’t expect her to stop. As she answered, she walked straight into Ye Xing’s back. The pleasant scent of Ye Xing’s perfume instantly filled her nose.
A herbal fragrance, like the faint, fresh scent of a newly mown lawn. It was light but very pleasant.
The “little deer” in the young girl’s heart started thumping wildly.
Ye Xing, however, didn’t notice Shen Xiaoqian’s shyness. That collision nearly knocked her off the steps. Fortunately, her balance was good, and she didn’t fall.
Recovering her senses, Ye Xing suddenly said solemnly, “Hurry up and go back! An Omega shouldn’t be running around in the middle of the night!”
Shen Xiaoqian was totally confused: “But didn’t you invite me?”
Ye Xing looked at those innocent, rabbit-like eyes and remained unmoved. She placed her hands on Shen Xiaoqian’s shoulders and pushed her forward: “If I invite you, you just come? Little sister, don’t you know how dangerous society is?”
Scumbag Alphas are dangerous—
“But I haven’t gotten what I wanted yet!”
“Forget it. Don’t let both of us get dragged down. Where is your car? Go home, now!”
Shen Xiaoqian was an Omega; her strength was no match for Ye Xing.
She was truly frustrated; she had promised her sisters she would get Ye Xing’s autograph today.
As the two of them were pushing and pulling at the edge of the parking lot, they didn’t notice a black luxury car driving past them.
The window was half-down, and a pair of cold eyes landed on Ye Xing’s hand, which was gripping Shen Xiaoqian.
Ye Xing suddenly felt a chill down her spine. She subconsciously turned to look.
the driver got out and opened the door. A pair of red high heels stepped firmly onto the ground, followed by smooth, long legs that emerged elegantly, drawing all eyes.
Looking up, she saw a woman in a black double-breasted suit dress. She had a lithe figure, looking both capable and handsome without losing her feminine charm. The powerful aura of a female Alpha washed over them.
Her features were exquisite and three-dimensional, her jawline perfect and smooth, and her skin was fair and translucent. She had a pair of captivating eyes, currently veiled with a layer of cold frost.
The woman reached out to tuck a strand of hair behind her ear. In those few seconds, a bone-deep, cold elegance radiated from her, making even the night sky behind her seem dull by comparison.
A goddess among Alphas!
Ye Xing gulped instinctively.
She had just been admiring her own looks, but now she realized that although they were both Alphas, compared to this woman—
Well, like plum, orchid, bamboo, and chrysanthemum—everyone has their own unique charm!
As Ye Xing was sizing up the newcomer, she realized the woman was actually walking toward her. But why was she radiating such a murderous aura?
“Auntie, what are you doing here?”
Shen Xiaoqian’s bell-like, crisp voice exploded in Ye Xing’s ear.
Auntie? Then I must be ‘Gua’er’ (Little Grass)—
Suddenly, a piece of information flashed through Ye Xing’s mind.
The smile she hadn’t even finished forming froze instantly.
Terrified, Ye Xing abruptly let go of Shen Xiaoqian’s wrist. She instinctively snapped to attention, her hands tucked obediently behind her back.
She forced out a smile that she thought looked good, but to anyone else, it looked like the guilty grin of a thief.
“Big Boss… no, Sister. Is this your little niece? Returning her to her rightful owner!”
