“Yaoyao,” Lu Meishan asked, “why would you say that?”

Jiang Youli was avoiding Guan Luyu because she was shy?

“Did you have dinner yet?” Li Henian asked.

“Yes,” Lu Yaoyi said.

Li Henian stepped aside to let her in. “Then come in.”

“That’s okay, Uncle Li,” Lu Yaoyi said, declining. “I just want to say a few words to Dingding. Just call her out. I’ll leave as soon as I’m done.”

“Okay,” Li Henian said, not pressing her to come in. “Then I’ll go get Dingding.”

He turned and walked toward the living room.

Lu Yaoyi watched his back as he walked away, unconsciously tightening her grip on her sleeve.

She was very nervous.

Li Henian walked into the living room and saw Jiang Youli playing on her phone. He walked over to her. “Dingding, stop playing on your phone. Yaoyao is here to see you.”

“Huh?” Jiang Youli asked.

What? Lu Yaoyi is here to see me?

She looked up at Li Henian. “Why is she here?”

“She wants to talk to you,” Li Henian said. “She’s waiting for you at the door.”

He pulled Jiang Youli up from the sofa. “Hurry up and go.”

She turned off her phone and walked toward the front door. “Don’t come over, Little Dad.”
