- After Saving Her White Moonlight, She Blackened?! (GL)
- Chapter 2 - Then I Cannot Let You Live
After dropping that sentence, Leng Yan returned to her room. The servants dared not delay.
Five minutes later, inside the vast room.
A very attractive person, dressed in wrinkled old clothes, was dragged and pulled into Leng Yan’s room by several servants and forced to kneel on the icy cold floor.
“Heh, He Yinshao?” Leng Yan rested one hand on the sofa, supporting her head, and looked down at the silent woman.
He Yinshao seemed to wake up from a dream and finally lifted her head, subtly assessing the arrogant person before her.
The person in front wore a gray bathrobe, the waist tie loosely fastened. One straight, slender leg rested over the other. The way she looked down was extremely condescending…
“Mm.”
Seemingly recalling the extreme humiliation she suffered at the hands of this arrogant person in the previous life, the hatred in her eyes burst forth clearly.
Such intense hatred was clearly seen by Leng Yan. She sneered, playing with the fruit knife in her hand.
With just a glance, the servants understood. Two servants pulled He Yinshao a few steps closer to Leng Yan.
Leng Yan placed one foot on He Yinshao’s left shoulder. Her toes were slightly red from the shower she had just taken. She pressed down lightly on He Yinshao, making her fingertips turn faintly white.
“You look like you hate me a lot, don’t you? He Yinshao.” A frivolous tone paired with a captivating face.
Yet, He Yinshao felt a wave of disgust, and the hatred in her eyes intensified instead of receding.
But she also sensed something was off. Did the previous life have this plot point? The Leng Yan of the previous life didn’t seem… so captivating… ah no, so malicious.
“What do you think?” He Yinshao slightly curled her lips, a hint of mockery added to her eyes. “Why ask something you already know? Miss Leng?”
He Yinshao bore the weight of Leng Yan’s foot on her left shoulder, her posture straight and unwavering.
Perhaps because she had killed the other party and exacted her revenge in the previous life, He Yinshao’s disgust towards Leng Yan in this life was very apparent, without any attempt at concealment.
“Hmph~” Leng Yan waved her hand without even lifting her head. “You all can leave.”
“Yes.”
A uniform voice sounded, and the servants all exited the room, thoughtfully closing the door behind them.
After a long silence, Leng Yan felt a surge of dissatisfaction. She suddenly exerted force with her foot, kicking the other person onto the floor.
“!!”
Before He Yinshao could react, she felt a sudden weight on her waist and something sharp pressing against her neck.
Leng Yan panted slightly. After all, this was a spoiled young lady’s body; just kicking the other person to the floor took a lot of effort, leaving her weak.
The sharp fruit knife in her hand pressed against the other’s neck. She lowered her voice and asked with a smile, “He Yinshao, if you ever get a chance to rise up, will you kill me?”
She was smiling, but her tone was chillingly cold.
He Yinshao’s heart suddenly sank. She stared at Leng Yan, who was sitting in front of her, for a long time.
What does she mean?
Did Leng Yan also get reborn?
“What do you mean?” He Yinshao’s eyes were deep.
“Nothing, I just dreamt that you would kill me in the future. So this is me…” Leng Yan pulled the blade back slightly. “Testing you~”
So it was just a dream…
“So, will you?” Leng Yan’s body remained straddling He Yinshao’s waist.
“Yes.” He Yinshao no longer hesitated, her eyes filled with hatred.
“Mm, that’s normal.” Leng Yan straightened her body.
Just as He Yinshao thought the interrogation was over, the knife flashed before her eyes.
She felt a slice across her neck. Warm liquid sprayed out, splattering onto Leng Yan’s face, which no longer held a hint of a smile.
“Then I cannot let you live, He, Yin, Shao.” Leng Yan’s gaze was icy.
“You…” Are also reborn?! So that’s why you want to kill me now?!!
He Yinshao wanted to ask these things, but unfortunately, her neck had been deeply sliced. Time, along with the continuous flow of blood, ran out. Fifteen minutes later, He Yinshao was dead.
“It’s over. With this, I should be able to go back, right…” Leng Yan got up and looked down at the corpse on the floor, her eyes cast down and somewhat vacant.
No one answered her. The room was silent.
“Come in and clean up.” Leng Yan twisted the doorknob and spoke to the servants waiting outside.
“Yes, Miss.”
The servants assumed Leng Yan had only beaten that wretched woman again, which was why her face was splattered with blood. So when the servants prepared to go in and saw the large pool of blood, they were all aghast. One maid prepared to drag the person out but discovered the person had no breath.
“Ah!!! A dead person! A dead person!!” The maid was so scared she collapsed on the floor, stumbling backward, her hands shaking uncontrollably. “Sh-Sh-She… is dead!!”
The others heard this and, seemingly in disbelief, looked simultaneously at Leng Yan standing in the doorway.
“Miss, this…”
Leng Yan unhurriedly wiped the blood off her face with a hand towel and casually tossed the towel onto the face of the corpse. “Give her some dignity. Have her cremated and buried. Send the ashes to Young Master He.”
She wanted to see how the Male Lead would react upon seeing the Female Lead’s ashes. Anyway, she had destroyed the protagonist of this book and should be returning soon.
Afterward, she went downstairs for breakfast as if nothing had happened.
The servants exchanged nervous glances.
“The Miss is crazy… the Miss has killed someone…”
“Shhh, hurry up and clean. Everyone who doesn’t want to die, shut your mouths.”
They also didn’t understand why the ashes had to be sent to Young Master He.
Leng Yan held a knife and fork, cutting her steak. The bloodstains on her face hadn’t been completely wiped clean, making her look pathologically charming.
No one knew what the young lady, who was quietly cutting her steak, was thinking. Even the cleanup was done without daring to make too much noise.
“Wait…” Leng Yan spoke up, stopping them.
“Wh-What is it? Miss?” The servants, carrying the body, trembled and stopped.
“The ashes don’t need to be sent. Just give them to me.” Leng Yan looked up at them.
“Y-Yes, Miss.”
“Thank you.” Leng Yan immediately flashed a smile.
The servants cleaned up even faster…
In the evening, Leng Yan watched the decent-looking corpse being pushed into the crematorium furnace. Staring at the blazing fire, her thoughts were on how to escape that cave after returning to the real world.
“Miss, the cremation is done for you.”
“Hmm?” Leng Yan snapped back to reality. “Oh, good.”
She took the urn with both hands. The ashes were still warm. She didn’t speak on the way back in the car.
The servants, unable to figure out the capricious young lady, were unsure of what to do. As they passed a bridge, the Miss spoke, “Stop the car.”
“Ah, okay.” The driver quickly pulled over.
Leng Yan got out, holding the urn. Under the confused stares of the servants, the driver, and passersby, she opened the urn, tossed all the ashes out in one go, and then threw the box itself, letting it sink into the lake…
