Summary
Synopsis:
Wen Ling has had a goddess in her heart since her student days. Her name is Gu Rongqing.
Later, that goddess became her wife and the mother of her child. However, only Wen Ling knows that her intentions were never pure—she schemed and plotted, taking advantage of her vulnerability to move in.
So what if Gu Rongqing didn’t love her? Even if she couldn’t have her heart, she would have her person first!
But what happens when the goddess has a “White Moonlight” (an unforgettable first love)? After seven years of marriage, Wen Ling realizes she still hasn’t found a way into the goddess’s heart. Looking back on their marriage, Wen Ling feels less like a spouse and more like a single mother.
Then…
Three days after the secret marriage between Movie Star Gu Rongqing and screenwriter Wen Ling was leaked, an insider reported seeing them at the Civil Affairs Bureau.
The question on everyone’s lips: Did they get divorced?
Soon after, Wen Ling was interviewed by a reporter asking for the reason behind the split.
She asked back: “What did Gu Rongqing say?”
The reporter replied: “Broken relationship.”
Wen Ling shrugged: “There was never any ‘relationship’ to begin with. I just took advantage of her when she was down.”
Later, however, Wen Ling discovered… she hadn’t been the one “taking advantage.” It was simply that Gu Rongqing’s emotional intelligence (EQ) was shockingly low.
