After the Scum Alpha Picked Up Her Rival Omega - Chapter 6
Ming Ruixue woke up after tossing and turning, her throat feeling parched as if she had just undergone an extreme tug-of-war. Her entire body felt soft.
She spread her fingers slightly and made a couple of grasping motions in the air; that soft, pillowy sensation didn’t seem to have vanished yet. Her fingertips lightly rubbed together, as if she could still feel a smooth, slippery texture.
This dream was far too realistic.
Have I been lonely for too long? How could I have a dream like that!
It’s… way too perverted…
Ming Ruixue tilted her head back to rub the back of her neck, and that numbing, soft sensation returned. Was her Alpha rut approaching, causing her to have these involuntary dreams?
She couldn’t find any other reason to convince herself. How could a plant like her have such lewd thoughts?
It must be the original owner’s fault. Definitely.
Shaking off those inappropriate images, Ming Ruixue thought about the beautiful cat at home. However, the house was silent and still. The kitten from last night seemed like it had just intruded into a dream; there wasn’t a single trace that it had ever been there.
“Xiao Si? Kitty? Good girl?”
Ming Ruixue searched the house several times, even checking the pillow carefully. There wasn’t a single cat hair, let alone a cat.
“Did she run away? Or did I remember wrong?”
Ming Ruixue tapped her head. Ever since she transmigrated, she had lost part of her memories as a catnip spirit. She always felt like there was something important she should remember, but she couldn’t grasp it.
She was now doubting whether that beautiful cat had ever even visited last night.
Forget it, don’t think about it.
The contract for Law of Romantic Attraction was to be signed at the Southern City Film and Television Center. Ming Ruixue checked the time, and Peng Jia’s reminder call was already coming through.
“Ruixue, I’m downstairs. Come down when you’re ready.”
“Got it.”
Ming Ruixue hung up and couldn’t help but wonder what kind of Alpha her assistant Peng Jia was. She crowed and reported the dawn on time every day; she was quite like a certain animal.
Ming Ruixue pushed open the door to her walk-in closet and let out a soft “hiss.” “It shouldn’t be the attribute I’m thinking of.”
The original owner had a massive walk-in closet with thousands of outfits for every season arranged neatly. Ming Ruixue got dizzy every time she had to pick something out.
Since it was a dating show, Ming Ruixue, as a top-tier Alpha, naturally had to be dazzling. She was a catnip spirit who had cultivated for a thousand years; she couldn’t lose face.
She chose a mint-green crop top paired with white wide-leg trousers that swept the floor, perfectly showcasing her slender figure. With a classic beige handbag and waist-length wavy hair that looked soft and romantic, she paired it with upturned eyeliner and bright lips, making her look both glamorous and radiant.
Before leaving, she took the catnip plant out of the locked cabinet to let it breathe fresh air. What Ming Ruixue cared about most was this mint plant; it had to be kept where she could see it.
It was only a few steps from the villa to the parking spot. Wearing sunglasses and carrying a powerful aura, Ming Ruixue walked with the presence of someone on a red carpet. Peng Jia was nearly dazed, truly believing Ming Ruixue was the type born for the spotlight.
She hadn’t seen Ming Ruixue work seriously much, but any project she participated in would always cause a stir.
However, as Peng Jia opened the passenger door, she asked in surprise, “Ruixue, why are you carrying a pot of mint?”
“I don’t feel safe leaving it at home.”
“Huh? What’s there to worry about with a pot of grass?”
Ming Ruixue took off her sunglasses, her slender fingers toying with the mint leaves. “This is my life. You must protect it well, or I’ll die.”
Peng Jia truly felt Ming Ruixue had changed—from keeping a “pond” of fish to keeping a plant.
“Ruixue, I heard Director Ye’s dating show also invited Si Xia. Si Xia’s team has shaded you online many times. I’m afraid you two will start fighting when you meet.”
Everyone knew the two were rivals. The reason the original owner hadn’t done anything to Si Xia yet was that she wanted to wait until after she had slept with her to dump and then suppress her. Unfortunately, before the original owner could get Si Xia’s “number,” Ming Ruixue had transmigrated.
Fortunately, no irreversible mistakes had been made yet. Ming Ruixue felt lucky. “I’ve decided to reconcile with Si Xia. Let the ‘rival’ thing be a thing of the past.”
Huh?
Peng Jia was utterly dazed. Ming Ruixue’s change in attitude seemed a bit too fast, and would Si Xia really reconcile so easily?
The car reached a red light. A white Bentley slowly pulled up on the right side of their car.
Looking through the window, Ming Ruixue saw Si Xia sitting inside and waved a greeting through the glass.
Unexpectedly, the white Bentley’s window rolled up at top speed. Si Xia didn’t even give her a look.
The smile on Ming Ruixue’s lips froze.
Peng Jia shrugged. “Looks like Si Xia doesn’t want to reconcile.”
Inside the white Bentley.
Peng Qi released the window button, looking panicked. “Xiaxia, is this really okay? Ming Ruixue seemed to be saying hello just now.”
Si Xia crossed her arms and gritted her teeth. “I don’t want to see her right now!”
Peng Qi shut her mouth sheepishly, thinking to herself: So the rumors about their grudge are all true.
At six o’clock this morning, Si Xia had woken up in Ming Ruixue’s bed.
Si Xia stretched, letting out a satisfied moan, “Mmm—”
She had slept so well. Waking up to the scent of catnip pheromones felt so satisfying.
Si Xia wanted to sleep a bit longer, but suddenly the cushion beside her sank. Then, a hand wrapped around her waist, and she was pulled into a catnip-scented embrace.
Si Xia’s heart tightened as she recalled the events of last night. She looked sideways and saw Ming Ruixue’s face right next to hers; her fur almost bristled.
Warm breath hit the side of her neck. Si Xia didn’t dare move.
She glanced at the clock on the wall—it was already six!
Oh no, oh no!
Si Xia had slept so soundly that she had turned back into a human in her rival’s house!
And she was naked!!!
The hateful Ming Ruixue seemed to still be dreaming, muttering softly, “Rub the belly…”
Before Si Xia could react, Ming Ruixue’s hand had already moved up, her palm pressing against Si Xia’s stomach to rub it. Then, caught off guard, the hand moved from top to bottom…
Next, Ming Ruixue used one hand to pin her waist and the other to explore.
Hateful Alpha! Si Xia subconsciously squeezed her legs together, her defenses truly shattered.
But Si Xia was terrified of waking her rival, so she could only roar in her heart: Ming Ruixue, it’s either you or me!
She hadn’t expected to crash and burn on the very first night she tried to “huff” her rival’s pheromones. Si Xia closed her eyes in despair.
After the soothing from the Alpha pheromones last night, her Omega heat had gradually stabilized. Although this method wasn’t as effective as a temporary mark, it was much better for Si Xia.
And no matter how much she wanted it, she could never let her rival mark her.
She certainly hadn’t expected the situation that occurred this morning.
There were still three months until spring ended, which meant the cat’s mating season would last for another three months.
Why leave her, a pitiful cat-type Omega, alone in this world? The most pitiful thing was that Si Xia still hadn’t found a way to turn into a human permanently.
Si Xia was being driven crazy by the torment, and what made her even crazier was—
She had almost been devoured by her rival without any obstacles…
