After the Scumbag Alpha Tries to Save the Love-Struck and Flips Over (Quick Transmigration GL) - Chapter 16
Shen Su pointed at herself in surprise. “Me?”
“Yes.” The teacher nodded.
Lu Yan lowered her head and hurriedly let go of Shen Su’s hand.
Shen Su stood up naturally and gave the answer fluently, even touching upon advanced material that hadn’t been covered in class yet.
The teacher had originally intended to pick a distracted student to make an example of, but he hadn’t expected her to answer so well. He gave a somewhat sheepish smile. “Perfectly correct. Please, sit down.”
The teacher’s gaze lingered on Shen Su’s face for a moment, and he suddenly let out a small “Huh?” “Student, why do you look a bit unfamiliar? What is your major?”
“I’m here to accompany my girlfriend to class,” Shen Su said truthfully.
Lu Yan lowered her head bashfully, but the corners of her mouth rose uncontrollably.
The teacher laughed. “I didn’t expect to be fed ‘dog food’ (PDA) just by calling on someone at random, hahaha… Alright, let’s continue with the lesson.”
For the rest of the class, the teacher didn’t call on Shen Su again, even when she drifted off or did other things.
As class neared its end, noisy sounds erupted from the classroom next door. The sounds of footsteps and screams rose and fell in succession.
The teacher’s hand paused as he flipped through his book. He peered out toward the hallway and murmured, “That’s not right, class isn’t over yet…”
The hallway was almost completely crowded with people coming out of the adjacent room.
“Hey, student, did something happen next door?” the teacher called out to someone outside.
One student turned back, and seeing this classroom full of people, quickly warned, “Teacher, an Omega next door has suddenly gone into heat. It’s best to evacuate everyone.”
Although they weren’t in the same room, being neighbors meant the rooms weren’t airtight; pheromones would inevitably leak out.
“I understand, thank you.” The teacher nodded and looked at the students sitting by the back door. “Students, close the back door for a moment. I’ll speak for two more minutes to finish this section, then class is dismissed.”
The students in the back were already starting to get restless, but the teacher pushed through and continued lecturing.
Shen Su gripped Lu Yan’s hand tightly as a sense of unease spread through her heart. She could faintly smell the pheromones from next door—it was an orange scent, very crisp and sweet.
“Do you smell anything?” Shen Su whispered into Lu Yan’s ear.
“Not yet.” Lu Yan shook her head.
Shen Su looked around. Most people were just a bit impatient and didn’t show any signs of abnormality.
She thought of a reason—the higher the pheromone compatibility between an Alpha and an Omega, the more sensitive they are to each other’s scents.
Two minutes later, as the words “Class dismissed” were spoken, a student in the back row collapsed.
The orange scent, mixed with a newly emerging mango pheromone, quickly filled the entire classroom.
The teacher immediately felt a pang of regret, but he reacted quickly and arranged the evacuation. “Alphas and Omegas, leave immediately. Betas, stay and listen to my instructions.”
Shen Su instantly pulled Lu Yan out of the classroom.
Suddenly, she paused and looked back at the neighboring classroom. Why is Liang Qiao here?
Isn’t he an Alpha? Why is he going into the classroom now?
But she didn’t have time to think. She quickened her pace, and Lu Yan had to jog just to barely keep up.
Once they were out of the teaching building, Shen Su maintained her speed. Lu Yan panted slightly. “Sister, I’m okay…”
Shen Su stopped her feet but did not slow her pace, gritting her teeth. “I’ll get you a taxi. You go home first.”
“What about you?” Lu Yan gripped Shen Su’s hand uneasily.
“I might be…” Shen Su’s brow twitched, and something felt like it was surging in her chest. “My rut is coming. I need to go to my safe house.”
Aside from herself, only her parents knew about the safe house.
“I’m going with you.” Lu Yan looked at her with determined eyes. “I am your Omega. I should be with you through your rut.”
Shen Su didn’t stop walking. As she moved, she said, “During my rut, I lose my sense of restraint. I’m afraid I’ll hurt you.”
“But it’s very difficult for an Alpha to go through a rut without their Omega by their side.” Lu Yan followed closely, their hands still joined.
She wanted to say more, but she heard Shen Su reply, “Fine, we’ll go to the safe house together.”
A flash of joy crossed Lu Yan’s eyes. A safe house was a very private place; the fact that Shen Su was willing to take her there meant she trusted her implicitly.
After getting into the car, Shen Su first grabbed the spare suppressants in the vehicle and gave herself an injection.
As the cold liquid entered her body, her heart gradually calmed, but she knew this would only hold for a short while. Lu Yan looked at her worriedly. “Are you okay?”
Shen Su hummed in response, started the car, and drove toward the location of her safe house.
The safe house was a villa in the suburbs of the city. No one lived there, though an hourly worker occasionally came by to clean.
Shen Su managed to drive to the villa before braking.
Seeing that Shen Su’s cheeks were already flushed deep red, Lu Yan got out first, opened the driver’s side door, and gave Shen Su a hand.
Shen Su bit her lip hard, rested her hand on Lu Yan’s shoulder, and whispered, “Go to the first room on the south side of the second floor.”
“Okay.” Lu Yan nodded. Her cheek brushed against Shen Su’s thin, exposed wrist; her skin was burning hot.
Lu Yan’s own breath gradually became scorching.
She knew exactly what she faced by following Shen Su to the safe house, but she had come anyway.
Finally inside the room, Lu Yan helped Shen Su onto the bed and locked the door first.
As she turned around, she was locked into an embrace by Shen Su’s arms. Shen Su buried her head in the crook of Lu Yan’s neck and took a deep breath.
Shen Su had already peeled off her scent blocker. The scent of red wine filled the room, rich and intoxicating.
Lu Yan slowly turned her head, reached out to peel off her own blocker, circled Shen Su’s neck, stood on her toes, and kissed her.
Shen Su quickly took the lead. Amidst the tangle of lips and teeth, she pinned both of Lu Yan’s hands above her head with one hand.
The back of Lu Yan’s hand was pressed against the door, sending a chill through her, but there was a constant source of heat in front of her.
Their bodies pressed together without a single gap; the red wine and iris scents intertwined, inseparable.
The sky outside the window grew dark. Continuous dark clouds surged toward the earth. With a crack of thunder, large raindrops hit the window, snaking downward.
Hearing the thunder, Lu Yan instinctively shivered. Shen Su let go of Lu Yan, allowing her to catch her breath.
“Scared of thunder?” Shen Su suppressed the raging emotions inside her, caressing Lu Yan’s scent gland and slowly releasing more pheromones to soothe her.
“With you here, I’m not afraid of anything.” Lu Yan gripped Shen Su’s collar and unbuttoned the first button.
Shen Su picked Lu Yan up in a princess carry, laid her carefully on the bed, and pressed light kisses on every corner of her skin—gentle and tempting.
Lu Yan tilted her head back slightly, freeing a hand to touch her own burning scent gland. “Sister, help me…”
Shen Su stared at Lu Yan’s exposed gland, grinding her teeth against it for a moment before slowly biting down.
The pheromones in the bedroom grew even thicker.
At first, Shen Su retained a shred of logic, but later, Lu Yan realized that an Alpha in rut is incredibly “insatiable” and quite clingy.
However, her own heat was triggered by the dense scent of pheromones; her emotions gradually drowned out her reason, and she soon sank into this blazing love, losing track of day and night.
She didn’t know how much time had passed when she woke up from hunger. She slowly opened her eyes, and her vision gradually regained clarity.
She looked down at her waist; Shen Su’s arm was wrapped tightly around her. Her fingers were long and pale, her joints well-defined.
Lu Yan propped her elbow on the pillow, intending to get up, but was pulled back by Shen Su.
Shen Su kept her eyes closed, sniffed lightly, followed the scent of pheromones, and accurately licked Lu Yan’s gland. She ground her teeth against the scabbed-over mark but hesitated to bite down. “Don’t go…”
Lu Yan’s heart rate suddenly spiked. She instinctively leaned back, but her remaining reason pulled her back.
Her heat had passed; she needed to replenish her energy.
“I’m just going to wash my face, I’ll be right back.” Lu Yan patted her own face, then lowered her head to gently pry Shen Su’s fingers away, but the fingers quickly returned to their original position.
Lu Yan let out a sigh of feigned helplessness, but deep down, she actually loved Shen Su being this clingy.
“No, don’t go.” Shen Su nuzzled Lu Yan’s neck and took a deep breath. “So fragrant…”
Lu Yan asked softly, “Then can you get up? I’ll take you with me.”
Shen Su hummed a response and followed Lu Yan into the bathroom, sticking close to her.
Lu Yan looked into the mirror. Shen Su was pressed against her back with her eyes closed. Her cheeks weren’t as red as yesterday; she looked no different from her usual self.
Lu Yan washed her face first, then asked in a low voice, “Sister, do you need me to help you wash?”
“Yes.” Shen Su was actually awake by now, but she was pretending to be incapable of doing anything.
Lu Yan gently wiped Shen Su’s face. Her fingertips accidentally brushed against Shen Su’s lips; she paused for a moment, then continued as if nothing happened.
After she finished, Shen Su’s stomach let out a growl, and both of them fell silent for a moment.
