After the Scumbag Alpha Tries to Save the Love-Struck and Flips Over (Quick Transmigration GL) - Chapter 17
Shen Su couldn’t keep up the act any longer and spoke up: “I told the villa manager beforehand that someone would deliver food to the door these few days. It should be there by now.”
Just as she finished speaking, a knock came from the door.
Lu Yan could tell that Shen Su was sober now, but she didn’t expose her. She just asked softly, “Should I go out and check?”
Shen Su hummed a response but still didn’t let go.
Lu Yan curved her lips, supported Shen Su to the doorway, leaned her against the wall, and quickly opened the door to move the breakfast inside.
When she turned around, she saw that Shen Su had already opened her eyes.
“How are you feeling now? Want to eat?” Lu Yan placed the breakfast on the table and looked back at Shen Su, who was still leaning against the wall, with a smile.
Shen Su nodded, sat down beside Lu Yan, and began to eat.
An Omega in heat and an Alpha in rut typically don’t feel hunger, but these periods aren’t entirely spent in a daze. Especially during a seven-day rut, there are usually about one to two days of total clarity.
“Thank you,” Shen Su said softly after a sip of porridge.
Lu Yan was slightly taken aback. “Why are you thanking me?”
“Thank you for being willing to come with me.” Shen Su put down her spoon and turned her head to give Lu Yan a faint smile.
A rut without an Omega’s company is extremely painful. Even with suppressants, an Alpha can fall into violent moods and cause significant damage to surrounding objects.
But she had just looked around; this time, aside from scattered clothes, there were no other signs of destruction in the room.
Lu Yan stirred the porridge with her spoon and said gloomily, “When you say it like that, I feel a bit strange.” It felt as though the distance between them had suddenly widened.
Shen Su raised an eyebrow. “I thought you’d be asking for a reward like last time!”
“Why should I be the one asking?” Lu Yan snorted, put down her spoon, and crossed her arms. “Aren’t we supposed to have a mutual understanding? If you know what I want, shouldn’t you have thought of it instantly?”
Shen Su laughed. “Alright, I’ll definitely practice the ‘mutual understanding’ skill.”
They quickly finished breakfast and placed the dishes outside. Shen Su returned to the room first while Lu Yan locked the door behind them.
“Actually, my rut should be ending soon. If you’re bored, you can leave first.” Shen Su leaned sideways against the wall, looking at Lu Yan with soft eyes.
Instantly, Lu Yan’s eyes flashed with panic. She hurried forward to take Shen Su’s hand. “No, I’m not leaving.”
A thought suddenly popped into her head—she could stay in this room with Shen Su until the end of the world. No more worries, only endless pleasure.
Lu Yan lowered her eyelashes, casting a shadow that hid her expression.
Seeing that Lu Yan didn’t want to go, Shen Su didn’t mention it again. She reached out to wrap her arms around Lu Yan’s slender waist and placed a light kiss behind her ear. “Then we won’t go.”
Lu Yan turned around and hugged Shen Su tightly, a faint iris scent emanating from her scent gland. “Sister, I’m serious. Never abandon me, okay?”
Shen Su’s eyes flickered. She gave a guilty “mm,” feeling as if her heart were being pricked by countless needles, the stinging sensation spreading through her limbs.
System: Is this the ‘liars swallow a thousand needles’ thing?
Shen Su: …There is no such thing as ‘forever’ in this world.
System: Pah! Excuses!
Lu Yan rested her head in the crook of Shen Su’s neck, a hint of mischief crossing her eyes. She opened her mouth slightly, her canine teeth slowly brushing against Shen Su’s neck, sending a numbing tingle through her.
Leaning against the wall, Shen Su’s throat went dry. Her blood seemed to surge upward, and the temperature at her scent gland began to rise.
“Stop it.” Using her last shred of reason, Shen Su gently pushed Lu Yan back. “Maybe you really should go. Staying with me for seven days—especially when I’ve lost my mind—won’t be easy for you. I still have suppressants and your residual pheromones in the room; I can make it through.”
Lu Yan, pushed back to the door, felt a wave of bitterness in her heart. So Shen Su is asking me to leave out of pity…
Thinking this made her even more unwilling to go. She hooked her arms around Shen Su’s neck and jumped, wrapping her legs around Shen Su’s waist. “Let’s see how you try to kick me out now!”
“You said it.” The flame in Shen Su’s eyes was ignited by Lu Yan’s restless legs.
The scent of red wine and iris in the room grew even more intense. Fresh and sweet at first, it soon became intoxicating.
“Hiss—” Lu Yan was placed on the windowsill, the cold touch making her gasp.
Shen Su paused, reaching out to pull the velvet curtains over the windowsill so it wouldn’t be cold anymore.
The velvet texture brushed against Lu Yan’s skin. She hugged Shen Su’s neck tightly, opened her mouth, and bit down on her collarbone, unable to hold back a muffled moan.
Shen Su suddenly turned her back, exposing her scent gland to Lu Yan. “Want a taste?”
“Can I?” Lu Yan widened her watery eyes, staring at the skin marked with a few existing tooth prints.
“Bite if you want to.” It was just a bit of foreplay to her; Shen Su didn’t mind, since she couldn’t be marked by an Omega anyway.
But in Lu Yan’s eyes, this was an act of absolute trust.
The corners of Lu Yan’s eyes reddened. She didn’t bite immediately but kissed Shen Su’s scent gland, stroking it slowly as if it were a rare treasure.
No one had ever trusted her so much as to expose their most vulnerable gland to her teeth. And since Shen Su was in her rut, it meant everything she did was out of instinct.
So, Shen Su really does love her, right?
Having reached this conclusion, Lu Yan became even more careful, hesitating to bite down.
With her back to Lu Yan, Shen Su clenched her fists, relying on the final thread of reason to let Lu Yan mess with her gland. She closed her eyes, thinking: Why hasn’t she bitten yet? If she doesn’t do it now, there won’t be another chance!
Just as Shen Su thought this, Lu Yan bit down. A sharp, stimulating sensation traveled from her gland.
And that thread of reason snapped completely.
…
Late at night, Shen Su woke from the chaos. By the moonlight, she looked at Lu Yan’s face, which was covered in tear stains. She sighed softly, picked Lu Yan up to clean her in the bathroom, dried her off, and returned to bed.
They spent seven days in such intimacy, their blended pheromones filling every corner of the room.
On the seventh day, Shen Su was fully awake, but she didn’t get out of bed, still lying there with Lu Yan. She lay on her side, stroking Lu Yan’s doll-like face, noticing she looked a bit thinner.
Lu Yan’s eyes were closed, still deep in sleep. These past few days had been even more exhausting for Lu Yan than for Shen Su.
Shen Su sighed softly and pulled Lu Yan into her arms. She watched her, and though she was very hungry, she knew she couldn’t leave before Lu Yan woke up, or Lu Yan would feel insecure.
Shen Su’s phone wasn’t in the room either. Based on past ruts, bringing a phone inside meant needing to buy a new one afterward.
She began chatting idly with the system.
Shen Su: System, do you know the details of Lu Yan’s romance with that Phoenix Man in the previous life?
System: Don’t know.
Shen Su: Do you know how she died in the previous life?
System: Fell to her death.
Shen Su: Do you know where she died?
System: …
The system vanished.
Shen Su could only stare at the ceiling in boredom. She was still bothered by that dream. It was too clear, giving her the feeling that it had actually happened.
But the Lu Yan of the present felt like a strong-willed “white flower” who had a clear plan for her career. Why would she have become so “love-struck” in her previous life as to be played by a Phoenix Man?
Could the truth be more complicated than it appeared?
Shen Su suddenly had a bold idea—maybe it wasn’t a dream, but something that actually happened in Lu Yan’s past life. If so, she had been seeing it from Liang Qiao’s perspective.
If it wasn’t a dream, what could have turned Lu Yan into that gloomy person she saw?
Shen Su’s gaze landed on Lu Yan’s face. She looked peaceful with her eyes closed and adorable when she smiled. She didn’t fit the person in the dream at all.
Just as Shen Su was thinking this, Lu Yan suddenly opened her eyes, her gaze filled with a smile: “Good morning—”
In an instant, all the messy thoughts in Shen Su’s mind vanished.
