After Transmigrating as a Scumbag Alpha, I Ended Up with the Movie Queen - Chapter 1
This was a bedroom in a hotel suite.
Disheveled clothes were strewn across the floor. On the spacious king-sized bed, two women lay tangled together.
Eventually, one of the women slowly opened her eyes.
When Gu Nan first woke up, her mind was still a foggy mess, but she caught a faint, lingering scent of mint.
“Smells so good…” Gu Nan murmured.
She lifted her hand, wanting to find the source of that enticing minty aroma. However, she realized her arm was pinned down by something that felt incredibly smooth to the touch.
It wasn’t just her arm; her entire body felt the same weight. It was pressing down on her so hard she could barely breathe.
Gu Nan shifted her gaze downward.
Through her blurred vision, she saw a beautiful, slender, naked woman lying prone on top of her.
Gu Nan snapped awake instantly, her body freezing in place, not daring to move an inch.
What is going on?
That thought acted like a switch, and a series of memories—scenes she had never actually participated in—suddenly flooded her mind.
In the images, she was at a cocktail party. She didn’t talk to anyone; she just held a glass of red wine, staring boredly at the entrance as if waiting for someone.
Then, a stunningly beautiful woman appeared in her line of sight.
At this point, the memories became hazy.
It looked like she had picked up another glass of red wine and dripped something into it—or perhaps she had just picked up a normal glass—and walked over to offer a toast to that woman.
She saw herself smiling and saying, “Senior Shen, a toast to you.”
“Thank you, Miss Gu.”
That glass of wine—the one that clearly had something wrong with it—was taken by the beautiful woman and drained in one gulp.
The following images were fragmented.
There was a scene of her, appearing concerned, supporting the woman—who had started to become dizzy and flushed—as they headed toward the penthouse suite. There was a scene of her tearing at the clothes of the beautiful woman, who looked like she was in pain. And there was her, leaning into the woman’s ear, repeating over and over: “Shen Zhibei, you’re mine now.”
Finally, the vision stopped at the moment the beautiful woman grabbed a desk lamp, smashed it against her, and hissed the name “Gu Nan” through gritted teeth.
Gu Nan was utterly shocked. The “her” in those images certainly had her face and even her name, but she was doing things Gu Nan would never do.
Her brain began to race.
Shen Zhibei, Gu Nan… what did those damn familiar scenes actually mean?
Gu Nan thought back for a moment before it finally clicked.
She had transmigrated. She had transmigrated into the scumbag Alpha namesake from that ABO tragedy novel she had just finished reading.
Recalling the scumbag Alpha’s ending in that book, Gu Nan felt her whole world collapse.
In the end, her glands would be gouged out, and she’d be stabbed eighteen times until she died.
Holy mother of god!
So, the scent she had smelled just now was Shen Zhibei’s pheromones!
Gu Nan sucked in a breath of cold air, feeling a phantom pain throb throughout her body.
Don’t panic, don’t panic.
She tried desperately to soothe herself internally.
Slowly and tentatively, she pulled her hand out and carefully tucked Shen Zhibei’s messy hair behind her ear.
Seeing the woman’s clean nape, Gu Nan immediately breathed a sigh of relief.
There were no teeth marks. This meant the plot had changed. If the plot had changed, she wouldn’t get stabbed eighteen times.
It seemed that the desk lamp blow from Shen Zhibei had been quite effective.
Gu Nan reached up to touch the spot where she’d been hit.
“Hiss.”
The moment she touched the wound, the pain made her recoil.
She was a law-abiding citizen; why did she have to transmigrate here and suffer like this?
Maybe she should just run away right now? After all, she hadn’t actually done anything yet.
The thought swirled in Gu Nan’s head, causing her to instinctively and gently lift Shen Zhibei, helping herself sit up slowly before laying Shen Zhibei down to the side.
Perhaps Gu Nan’s movements weren’t gentle enough, as they disturbed the other woman.
Shen Zhibei let out a soft groan and slowly opened her eyes.
The moment she saw Gu Nan, Shen Zhibei’s large, dazed eyes instantly cleared.
Seeing the awkward position they were in, she immediately assumed Gu Nan was trying to do something else to her.
Ignoring her weakened state, she shoved Gu Nan away with all her might and quickly pulled a thin quilt around herself, finally gaining a tiny sense of security.
The weakened Shen Zhibei had exhausted all her strength with just those two movements. She slumped to the side, able only to glare at Gu Nan with gritted teeth, wishing her gaze could kill.
“Get away! What else do you want to do to me?” Shen Zhibei snapped sharply.
Help! Help! Help! Gu Nan’s mind was screaming.
She obviously couldn’t say she was trying to run away, so she could only give a forced smile and say, “I saw you didn’t look well, so I wanted to take you to the hospital without waking you up.”
“You, having such good intentions?” Shen Zhibei’s face was as pale as paper. “I trusted your ‘good intentions’ before, and I overestimated your bottom line. I actually thought you wouldn’t make a move on someone my age. Now it seems you really are a piece of trash.”
“Right, right, right, I’m trash. It’s all my fault, I’m sorry,” Gu Nan apologized hurriedly. “I’ll make it up to you. I’ll definitely compensate you.”
“Compensate? What could you possibly compensate me with? Money?” Shen Zhibei mocked her directly. “I may not have the Gu family background, but I’m not short on money.”
Gu Nan was speechless.
Shen Zhibei had been in the entertainment industry for so many years; although she was picky about her roles and rarely did variety shows, she certainly wasn’t lacking funds.
Even though it wasn’t her sin, she was “Gu Nan” now.
She had to shoulder this burden and find a way to fix it.
The omnipresent paparazzi likely already knew she and Shen Zhibei had stayed at a hotel overnight. If they didn’t provide a good explanation…
Gu Nan didn’t care much for herself—her reputation was already terrible, and as an Alpha, people would just label her a playboy.
But Shen Zhibei, as an Omega, would be labeled as promiscuous or accused of trading her body for resources.
This world wasn’t very friendly to Omegas. Checking into a hotel with an Alpha before marriage—even if they were a couple—would lead to nasty gossip.
In the novel, Shen Zhibei faced an even worse situation. That was why she had gritted her teeth and agreed to the marriage proposal for the sake of her career.
However, from another perspective, marriage really was a good way to solve this.
If they married, she could give the Gu family’s Chengxin Entertainment movie resources directly to Shen Zhibei, and no one could say anything weird about it.
Plus, it would stop the original Gu Nan from wasting all those top-tier resources.
Thinking about how the original Gu Nan had already ruined several excellent scripts using her family connections, leading the internet to call her a “Little Princess” in the worst way possible, Gu Nan felt a headache coming on.
More importantly, she wasn’t the old Gu Nan anymore. She would treat Shen Zhibei well after they married.
With that in mind, Gu Nan decided to stick to the novel’s path.
After all, she was in a tragedy. If she got married and turned the tragedy into a “sweet” story, wouldn’t she avoid being killed by the plot?
“Let’s get married. That way, we can clarify things with the media, and you can use the Gu family’s resources however you like,” Gu Nan said sincerely.
Shen Zhibei’s face turned even paler.
If I don’t agree, will Gu Nan refuse to clarify things with the reporters and ruin my career?
She truly loved acting.
Shen Zhibei squeezed her eyes shut, afraid that if she looked at Gu Nan’s face again, she wouldn’t be able to stop herself from clawing it.
“Fine. I agree,” Shen Zhibei said, her voice dripping with hatred.
Gu Nan felt incredibly awkward. Somehow, she felt like she had just coerced Shen Zhibei all over again.
She hurriedly stood up, wanting to end this uncomfortable moment.
It was only then that she realized she wasn’t wearing any clothes.
She had been talking to Shen Zhibei like this the whole time. Did Shen Zhibei close her eyes just now because Gu Nan was an eyesore?
Stunned by her own realization, Gu Nan quickly started picking up her clothes from the floor.
She originally wanted to help pick up Shen Zhibei’s clothes too, but she discovered they had been torn to shreds.
Gu Nan looked at the scraps in her hand and then awkwardly at Shen Zhibei.
“Uh… I’ll have someone send a set over for you.”
Shen Zhibei had already opened her eyes. Seeing Gu Nan’s actions, she just watched with a cold gaze, not saying a single word.
Gu Nan scrambled into her clothes and checked her phone’s contact list.
The list was enormous—everything from CEOs of various groups to young internet models.
Luckily, the original owner had labeled them clearly. She typed “Assistant” and several numbers popped up.
She couldn’t tell what each assistant did, so she just picked one labeled “Assistant Jin” and dialed.
The phone was picked up after only a few rings, and a steady male voice came through.
“Miss, what are your orders?”
“Send a set of clothes over. The size…” Gu Nan instinctively looked toward Shen Zhibei.
She saw Shen Zhibei shrink back in fear, clutching the quilt tighter.
Gu Nan: “……”
“Just one size smaller than mine,” Gu Nan said, quickly averting her eyes.
After stating the requirement, she paused.
She didn’t know where she was, so she didn’t know how to tell him where to bring them.
Fortunately, the assistant didn’t ask for the address or why she needed a smaller size. He simply said, “Understood, Miss. I’ll have them delivered immediately.”
“Also, find a private doctor and have them wait for me at home.”
Assistant Jin, who had been perfectly calm, suddenly sounded tense. “Miss, are you hurt?”
“No, I want to give someone else a check-up.”
Assistant Jin’s tone returned to steady. “Understood, Miss.”
Silence fell over the room once more.
Gu Nan looked around for a while, feeling that with only two people in the room, it was too awkward not to say anything.
After holding it in for a long time, she finally squeezed out: “Um, do you want to order something to eat? Or are you thirsty? Want something to drink?”
Shen Zhibei had just managed to calm her emotions, but hearing Gu Nan’s question made her think of the wine from last night.
She stared at Gu Nan with freezing eyes and spat out, “What, do you want me to drink more induction agent? Get out!”
With that, Shen Zhibei turned her head away, completely refusing to speak to Gu Nan.
If possible, she never wanted to see Gu Nan’s face again.
Gu Nan: !!!
The thing I saw in the hazy memory was actually an induction agent!
But those memories felt a bit off.
Gu Nan opened her mouth but didn’t voice her confusion.
At this point, she understood that the more she said, the more mistakes she’d make.
To avoid upsetting Shen Zhibei further, she sat as far away as possible and silently started playing with her phone.
Then, she saw a photo taken yesterday.
Shocked, Gu Nan looked up at Shen Zhibei, then quickly looked back down. Her hands shook as she tried to delete the photo.
But the more she rushed, the more she messed up. Her phone fell to the floor with a “thud.”
Of course, it landed screen-side up.
Drawn by the sound, Shen Zhibei looked over and immediately saw the photo on the screen.
Her eyes narrowed. “Bring the phone here. Let me see.”
I’m doomed, I’m doomed, I’m doomed!!!
I’m going to die!!!
Someone save me!!!
Help!!!
Gu Nan froze in place, unable to move a single step.
