After Transmigrating as a Scumbag Alpha, I Ended Up with the Movie Queen - Chapter 2
In the photo, Shen Zhibei’s expression was fragile. She was curled up, completely naked.
How could Gu Nan dare to show such a photo to the woman herself?
“Ha, haha,” Gu Nan let out an awkward laugh. “Maybe… maybe you shouldn’t look at it.”
She bent down stiffly and picked up the phone from the floor.
“Bring it here.” Shen Zhibei stared at Gu Nan coldly.
Seeing that there was no way to escape, Gu Nan could only hold the phone and walk over with a low, submissive posture.
As she handed over the phone, she couldn’t help but say—even though she knew Shen Zhibei wouldn’t believe her—”Actually, this is all a misunderstanding. I really didn’t intend to keep this photo. I was just about to delete it.”
Looking at the photo on the screen, Shen Zhibei gripped the phone so hard it seemed as if she might crush it.
“You say… this is a misunderstanding?” Shen Zhibei’s voice sounded as if it were being squeezed out of her throat.
Seeing Shen Zhibei’s state, Gu Nan felt uneasy and quickly backed away.
Sure enough, the next second, her phone came flying toward her.
Gu Nan dodged quickly; the phone zoomed past her face and smashed against the wall.
Still not satisfied, Shen Zhibei grabbed everything she could reach on the bed—pillows, blankets—and threw them all at Gu Nan.
Thanks to the fact that this phone was from the most durable domestic brand, although the screen shattered into eighteen pieces, Gu Nan picked it up and found it still worked.
While enduring the “baptism” of bedding being thrown at her, Gu Nan tapped the delete button on the photo and then went into the “Recently Deleted” folder to wipe it out permanently.
After carefully checking to make sure there were no other copies, she shouted:
“I deleted it! I’ve deleted everything! Truly!”
Wearing several pieces of bedding over her head, Gu Nan held up the phone for Shen Zhibei to see.
The woman on the bed was now flushed from her outburst. Beads of sweat broke out on her forehead, tears pooled in her eyes, her lips were bitten white, and her entire body was shaking uncontrollably.
“Are you okay?” Gu Nan stepped forward and asked with concern.
“Get out, get out, GET OUT!!! I don’t need your fake kindness!”
Shen Zhibei’s tears finally fell.
Each teardrop felt like it was drumming on Gu Nan’s heart, causing her physical pain.
“Okay, okay, I’m rolling out. I’m rolling out right now.”
Gu Nan literally rolled—in the physical sense—out of the bedroom.
Once outside, she scrambled up and closed the door for Shen Zhibei so she could vent her emotions in private.
Shen Zhibei: “……”
Watching Gu Nan roll out of the room like a salted fish flipping over, Shen Zhibei’s breakdown momentarily stalled. A thought suddenly popped into her head:
Does Gu Nan have some kind of mental problem?
Gu Nan, who was currently suspected of having a brain defect, was slumped in the living room of the suite, sighing deeply.
Assistant Jin didn’t let her sigh for long before arriving at the hotel.
“Miss, here are the clothes you requested. And a change of clothes for yourself as well.” Assistant Jin appeared to be a very steady person. “Additionally, the reporters waiting outside the hotel have all been cleared away.”
“Thank you.” Gu Nan took the clothes and glanced down at herself.
She hadn’t noticed before, but looking at her wrinkled clothes—which were stained with lipstick—it was easy to imagine what kind of “bad things” the original owner had done last night.
On the surface, Assistant Jin looked calm, but internally, waves of shock were hitting him.
From the fact that his lady cared so much about Shen Zhibei, to the fact that she actually said “thank you.”
Was Shen Zhibei really that charming? Could she actually change the Young Miss’s personality?
If that were true, the Chairman and Madam would be overjoyed.
“I really should change,” Gu Nan thought, feeling genuinely grateful to the assistant. Without him, she would have had to walk out looking like this.
“I’ll go call her, you…”
Should she ask Assistant Jin to wait here or outside? Would his presence trigger Shen Zhibei again?
Gu Nan’s brain, having worked at high speed all morning, was starting to stall.
“I will wait outside the door for you and Miss Shen,” Assistant Jin said, adjusting his glasses and finishing her sentence perfectly.
“Okay.”
Gu Nan took the clothes and walked back into the bedroom.
She realized that likely everyone around her knew where she was and what she was doing. Yet, no one felt she was doing anything wrong or tried to stop her. Instead, they anticipated her needs and helped her “clean up.”
It was this kind of indulgence that allowed the “Scumbag Alpha” to turn out this way.
Inside the bedroom, Shen Zhibei was no longer crying. She was wrapped in the thin quilt, leaning against the headboard with a cold expression, staring at her fingers.
She didn’t look up when she heard Gu Nan enter.
“The clothes are here.” Gu Nan placed the outfit on the bed. “Can you manage on your own?”
“I can.” Shen Zhibei still didn’t turn around, but her voice was eerily calm.
This calm made Gu Nan even more terrified.
“Oh, okay. You handle it yourself, I’ll wait in the living room. We’ll go to my house in a bit and have the private doctor check you over.” Knowing the original owner had used an induction agent, Gu Nan was worried about her health. “The Gu family doctor is very tight-lipped; they won’t say a word, so you can rest easy.”
At this, Shen Zhibei’s eyes flickered. She glanced at Gu Nan and said, “I understand.”
This time, without waiting for Shen Zhibei to kick her out, Gu Nan voluntarily left the bedroom to wait in the living room and change her own clothes.
The bedroom was silent.
Thinking about Shen Zhibei’s physical condition, Gu Nan worried she might have fainted inside. She wanted to knock, but feared being yelled at for having “ulterior motives,” so she just paced anxiously.
After an unknown amount of time, Gu Nan—who had been pressing her ear to the door—finally heard movement. She hurried back to the sofa and sat down properly.
With a click, the door opened.
Shen Zhibei was panting, supporting herself against the wall as she walked out. Seeing her look so weak, Gu Nan rushed over to support her.
But the moment her fingers touched her, Shen Zhibei swatted them away in terror.
She was already using all her strength just to walk; the effort of pushing Gu Nan away caused her to lose her balance and fall.
Seeing her about to hit the floor, Gu Nan quickly scooped her up in a princess carry.
Shen Zhibei tried to struggle, but because she had no strength left, it looked more like she was rubbing against Gu Nan’s chest—almost like she was flirting.
The friction was starting to cause Gu Nan a physiological reaction. She pleaded, “I’m not going to do anything to you. Why make yourself suffer?”
“Are you sure?” Shen Zhibei curled her lip mockingly, terrified yet helpless.
She could already smell it—the scent of pheromones.
It was the scent of Pine.
Induced by the Alpha’s pine-scented pheromones, Shen Zhibei’s body began to soften, and her vision blurred. Her body, already compromised by the induction agent from the night before, began to heat up again.
“It… it hurts.” Shen Zhibei frowned in pain, instinctively leaning closer to the Alpha who had marked her.
Feeling the minty pheromones emanating from Shen Zhibei, Gu Nan finally realized what that scent from earlier was.
Back then, it was just a slight leak of pheromones, and she was too shocked to be affected. But now, the cooling mint filled the room, lighting a fire in Gu Nan’s own body and making her shiver with excitement.
Gu Nan didn’t know why this was happening so suddenly, but she fought the urge to pin Shen Zhibei down and mark her. She threw open the door and called Assistant Jin.
Assistant Jin was a Beta and couldn’t smell the pheromones.
After hearing the request, he rummaged through the suite’s cabinets, found a bottle of Inhibitor, and sprayed it over both of them.
Gu Nan finally felt herself calm down. Looking at the now-quiet Shen Zhibei, she said without hesitation, “Let’s go. We’re going back immediately.”
“Miss, take the inhibitor with you. If you need it, use a few more sprays.”
“Okay, let’s go.”
Gu Nan carried Shen Zhibei out, following Assistant Jin.
Thanks to the superior physical constitution of an Alpha, she found she could carry a woman for a long time without getting winded.
Shen Zhibei, drained by the second wave of heat, had no strength left to resist.
So, Gu Nan just wants the reporters outside to see me like this to cut off my escape, she thought. The words and actions from earlier were just a cat-and-mouse game.
Playing with the prey before eating it.
To think she actually thought she could escape this reality. Gu Nan just wanted to give her a glimmer of hope only to crush it in front of her face.
She must be enjoying seeing my hope die, Shen Zhibei thought despairingly.
Being hounded by such a scumbag, how could she ever escape? She resigned herself to her fate in Gu Nan’s arms.
To her surprise, there were no reporters outside the suite, nor outside the hotel.
What’s going on?
Is Gu Nan really being this kind?
Or does she just want to get me back to her house before she starts the real torture?
Looking at Gu Nan’s serious, tight-lipped face as she carried her forward, Shen Zhibei dared not hold onto any more hope.
