Summary
Synopsis:
Xu Xing transmigrated into a “No-CP” (no romance) novel he read before bed. To make matters worse, he became the top host of a brothel who was destined to die in the very first chapter. To save his own life, he endured humiliation to rescue the big villain. After a tearful display of loyalty, he was successfully recruited into the villain’s ranks.
The Boss believed Xu Xing was incredibly ambitious and kept assigning him missions. To stay alive, Xu Xing worked his heart out to complete them. He did such a good job that the Boss just kept giving him more work!
Only Xu Xing knew the truth: He really just wanted to be a “salted fish” (someone who lies around doing nothing) Q_Q.
Years later, relying on his knowledge of the original plot, he finally fought his way up to a position where he was second-only-to-one and above tens of thousands. He thought he could finally lie down and relax… but then he woke up and realized he had returned to the very beginning!
Back in the brothel, Xu Xing lay down next to the Boss and thought: Forget it. This time, I’ll just follow the plot and die peacefully in Chapter One.
However, this time around, the way the Boss looks at him seems… a bit off???
