After Transmigrating, I Gained a Wife - Chapter 8
Li Hanxue was moved by Luo Yan’s kiss and let out a soft sound. Her lips and tongue were completely occupied by Luo Yan, and though she tried to escape, she didn’t succeed. As the sounds grew a bit louder, Li Hanxue became flustered and helpless.
Luo Yan gently stroked Li Hanxue’s head, telling her wife not to be shy. She kissed her forehead before seeking out her lips again to continue their deep embrace.
Her hand slowly searched for her wife’s hand, eventually interlacing their fingers. Luo Yan held on tight; Li Hanxue, desperate for air, tried to push her away.
Luo Yan didn’t get annoyed; instead, she leaned in and began to tease her wife’s ear. Li Hanxue felt an intense itch and turned her head, begging Luo Yan not to kiss there.
Hahaha, my wife’s ears really are sensitive. Her wife smelled so fragrant as Luo Yan slowly moved her kisses toward her neck.
The moonlight outside was silent, but the room was filled with the breath and sounds of lovers, making one flush with bashfulness.
It was a long time before the person in the room finally stopped. Looking at her exhausted wife, Luo Yan prepared some warm water and wiped her body down. After she was clean, Luo Yan heard her wife’s steady breathing; she looked so well-behaved and sweet in her sleep. She gave her a light kiss on the forehead. “Love you.”
Luo Yan didn’t rush to sleep after cleaning herself; she gave her wife’s legs a massage. Only when her hands ran out of strength did Luo Yan pull her wife close and fall asleep.
It rained the next day, but Luo Yan still woke up early as usual. When she tried to get up, she found the hands holding her were very tight. “Sleep a bit more…”
Luo Yan: “I’m not sleeping; I’m going to make breakfast. You stay and sleep like a good girl.” After Luo Yan got ready, she kissed her wife’s lips before heading out.
Father Luo was already up. Yesterday, after learning that his daughter had actually bought the “illustrated book,” he was so shocked he forgot what he wanted to say. Since the rain was heavy today, he wasn’t going to work.
Luo Yan saw her father as soon as she came out. “Father, morning.”
Father Luo: “Mhm.”
“Is Mother up?”
“She is, she’s in the kitchen cooking.”
“Okay, I’ll go help too.” As she spoke, Luo Yan headed toward the kitchen.
Father Luo followed behind her, which surprised Luo Yan. While helping Mother Luo cook, Father Luo spoke up: “Xiao Yan, I don’t know if you remember, but our family moved here when you were three years old. This house we’re in now is actually your grandfather’s old house.”
“Grandfather’s house?” Luo Yan was confused. What was the situation now?
Father Luo: “Yes. Our family was actually quite famous in the Imperial City. But we were framed by the clan and were forced to move here…”
“The person currently in charge of the clan has a grudge against our family. News of your marriage has likely reached them by now, so there will probably be trouble later.”
“Your mother is the second young lady of the Shen family, though the Shen family’s status isn’t as high as the Luo family’s. All these years, your mother’s mother has been helping us out… Now that you’re married, we can’t just sit and wait for the Luo family to come looking for trouble. Think carefully about what I’ve told you. Then, let your mother and me know what you think, okay?”
Mother Luo: “Stop adding fuel to the fire, the food is ready.”
Luo Yan: “Okay, okay.” She felt like her head was going to explode. What was all this?
Had Father Luo not thought about going back all these years? If he wanted to but couldn’t, it meant the current leaders of the Luo family were very powerful. They hadn’t just cut off their financial base; they had completely severed all ties.
Thinking about it now, by marrying Li Hanxue, Luo Yan had essentially pulled her from one pit into an even deeper one.
For Mother Luo, a second young lady of the Shen family, to end up like this…
According to Father Luo, he was the second son in the family, and the person currently in charge was the third son, Luo Lie.
What can I even think right now? Luo Yan was speechless. They definitely couldn’t go back to the clan, and she didn’t want to anyway.
Since they knew about the marriage, so be it. She needed to earn money quickly. Once the rain stopped, she would go to the market to buy supplies and start making money.
Once she had money, she would hire people. She would need to use a pseudonym; it would make things more convenient.
Luo Yan: “Father, I don’t want to return to the clan. If possible, I want our family to stand on our own. For now, I want to earn money. Only after we have money can we implement a plan step-by-step.”
Father Luo hadn’t expected Luo Yan to decide so quickly, and her choice was quite different from what he had anticipated. Standing on their own was an option, though he had never considered it before.
“That works too.”
Luo Yan: “Mhm. Father, Mother, let’s eat.”
Father Luo: “Mhm.”
Mother Luo remembered Hanxue wasn’t up yet. “Go call Hanxue to eat too.”
Luo Yan paused; her wife probably couldn’t get up. “Hanxue went to bed late last night. I’ll get her something to eat when she wakes up.”
“Alright then, let’s eat first.” Mother Luo didn’t think much of it, but Father Luo caught the meaning in his daughter’s words. So the family really does have an extra daughter now. Is this ‘proactive’ streak inherited from her grandfather?
Mother Luo: “The rib soup you made yesterday was delicious. I saved a bowl for that boy Wen Liang. It’s raining today; I wonder if he’ll still come?”
Luo Yan smiled. “He’ll come. One bowl might not even be enough.”
Father Luo: “I didn’t realize you had taken an apprentice?”
Luo Yan laughed. “I didn’t expect it either. I’ve practiced a lot and didn’t realize I’d become this good. When I spoke with Wen Liang, I was surprised I could actually teach him.”
Father Luo: “Mhm, teach him well. He can be someone who helps you in the future.”
“Mhm, I know.”
“Father, I bought some more wine yesterday. Remember to bring it out to drink tonight.”
“Also, the rain is so heavy today. I wonder if Boss Pu is still open for business?”
Father Luo: “I see. If Boss Pu isn’t doing business, he’ll likely come looking for you.”
Luo Yan: “Mhm.”
After eating, Luo Yan went to the kitchen and used three eggs to steam an egg custard. Then she made a bowl of egg drop soup—not much, fearing her wife couldn’t drink it all.
Once the pot was boiling, Luo Yan stopped the fire. After getting everything ready, she went to the room to see her wife.
Her wife was still sleeping very sweetly. Luo Yan touched her face and called to her softly. “Want to get up and eat a little? Hmm?”
Li Hanxue shook her head. “I want to sleep more, I feel very tired.” Not only was her body exhausted, but there was a chilly, uncomfortable sensation between her legs. She couldn’t say it out loud, so she just frowned at Luo Yan.
“I know. Wait for me a second.”
Luo Yan went to the kitchen and brought the egg drop soup and egg custard into the room, placing them on the bedside table. She helped her wife sit up against her chest, holding the custard to feed her. “Eat some custard first. You can eat more at lunch.”
Leaning in Luo Yan’s arms, Li Hanxue could clearly feel her body temperature. It was warm and felt very safe.
Watching Luo Yan bring the spoon to her mouth, Li Hanxue felt like she was in a dream. She opened her mouth slightly and ate; it tasted wonderful with the added sesame oil. “It’s delicious.”
“If it’s delicious, Madam needs to eat more. You’re too thin right now; that won’t do.” Her wife was a year younger than her; she needed to keep her nutrition up.
Li Hanxue’s ears turned red as she remembered last night, which also felt like a dream. Her husband was like a debt collector—she had said she didn’t want any more, yet she kept going…
Luo Yan fed her bite by bite, finishing in a few minutes. The egg drop soup wasn’t too hot, and Luo Yan tried to feed it to her as well, but she almost made her wife choke…
Li Hanxue took the bowl herself and slowly finished the soup. Once finished, she felt very full.
“Madam, I’m going to clear the dishes and then come back. You sleep a bit more.”
Seeing her wife nod, Luo Yan went out to clean up.
Mother Luo: “Did Hanxue eat her fill?”
Luo Yan, looking at her mother in the living room, said, “She did.”
After cleaning up, Luo Yan returned to the room and saw Hanxue looking dazed and uncomfortable.
“Are you alright?”
Li Hanxue: “It’s very uncomfortable there, and my legs are sore.” She didn’t know what to do and could only endure it.
Hearing her wife’s words, Luo Yan felt a sudden pang of regret. She had indeed gone a bit overboard last night, only stopping in the latter half of the night…
Taking off her shoes and coat, Luo Yan climbed back onto the bed and pulled her wife into her arms. “I’ll massage your legs for you. When the rain lets up, you can get up.”
Li Hanxue: “Okay.”
After massaging for a while, Li Hanxue felt her legs were much better. “My waist doesn’t feel as uncomfortable anymore.”
“Good. Where else is uncomfortable?”
…Of course it was still uncomfortable there. But how could she say that? Li Hanxue pressed her head tight against Luo Yan’s chest and gave a small nod.
Her wife was simply too cute. Luo Yan’s hand moved toward her, causing Li Hanxue’s body to stiffen. “Relax a bit, don’t be afraid.”
Li Hanxue didn’t speak; she just hugged Luo Yan tightly.
After a while, Li Hanxue did feel better, but she also felt her body getting incredibly hot. She gripped Luo Yan’s clothes and said, “No, stop the massage.”
Hearing her wife speak, her voice was a bit raspy and her face was flushed… Her wife had been “affected” by the massage…
Li Hanxue: “Husband, no more.” She really couldn’t take any more massaging…
Luo Yan, feeling a bit mischievous, didn’t stop. “I’ll stop if you give me some ‘affection’ (a kiss).”
Li Hanxue was extremely embarrassed. After a few seconds, she still looked up at Luo Yan. Their eyes met, and Li Hanxue prepared herself mentally before leaning in to kiss Luo Yan’s lips.
It was warm and soft, very different from the feeling of Luo Yan kissing her. A fire was lit in her heart; just as Li Hanxue wanted to pull away, she summoned her courage and pressed back in.
Accepting her wife’s clumsy kiss, Luo Yan felt wonderful. Hahahaha hic hahahaha…
The kiss didn’t end until the fire in Li Hanxue’s heart subsided. Afterward, she buried her face in Luo Yan’s neck out of embarrassment.
Luo Yan found it funny but didn’t dare make a sound. Her wife’s kiss was unrefined, but she had to cooperate until the very end!
“Let’s get up, shall we? In a bit, my little apprentice might bring his wife over.”
Li Hanxue: “Mhm, okay~ You get up first.” She couldn’t let anyone see her in this state.
“Madam, you have to get off me first.” Hahaha, how could she get up with her wife clinging to her?
Hearing her husband say that, Li Hanxue finally realized the situation. “Oh…”
