After Transmigrating into the Scum Wife of a Disabled Black Moonlight (GL) - Chapter 10
[Congratulations, Host! You have successfully gained 1 positive value.]
Heeheehee.
After completing the task, Deng Li naturally withdrew her hand.
Song Chisui clenched her back teeth, feeling the scorching touch on her earlobe that brought a flush of heat to her skin.
The old man beside them smiled with satisfaction. Her second uncle and aunt’s eyes were wide, and the small, dark-skinned Song Tianfu’s eyes were also bright.
“Second Sister and Sister-in-law are so affectionate.”
As he spoke, a flash of his white teeth shone, making Deng Li almost unable to open her eyes.
After breakfast, Song Shunjun and Li Ling went to work. The old man also had to go back to his health retreat. Before leaving, he specifically told Deng Li that there were many hoodlums at school and that she should be careful and watch out.
Those students can be ruthless, and they’re brazen because of their status.
Deng Li knew that many students at Song Chisui’s elite school had powerful backgrounds. The Bailing Academy was even known as one of the ten most violent academies. It wasn’t that the teachers didn’t care; it was that they couldn’t control them. The victims were too afraid to speak up, while the bullies stood on the edge of the law, with powerful connections that gave them a free pass.
But that wasn’t the most important thing. The important thing was that Song Chisui, who seemed unhappy from the touch, was now sitting alone in a dark corner, her eyes fixed on her with a resentful look.
Deng Li’s steps faltered, and her heart began to race.
She coughed lightly. “Cough, want to get some sun?”
Song Chisui’s voice had a muffled, oppressive quality. “Don’t touch me like that in the future.”
Deng Li: “Touch you? You mean when I fixed your hair?”
Song Chisui: “I don’t need it.”
Deng Li was startled but walked toward the girl in the shadows, reaching out to gently pat her shoulder.
Just as her fingers touched Song Chisui’s hair, she turned her head away in disgust.
Deng Li touched her anyway.
“Xiao Sui, that was an accident. Your grandpa and your second uncle’s family were here. I was just putting on a show for them.”
And doing a mission, of course. All things considered, she had earned almost 100 positive value. Was she still far from 10,000?
As she spoke, she curled her fingers in Song Chisui’s long hair, waiting for the positive value to rise.
But why was there no response?
“System, what’s going on? The positive value isn’t rising. Is she unhappy?”
System: “That’s part of it, but the main reason is that your touch is still at the basic level.”
“What does that mean?”
System: “Cough, cough, cough. It means that this level of touching won’t earn you points anymore. You need to explore other parts of her body, like her waist, back, and some other areas.”
Deng Li: “That’s perverted.”
“In short, you need to make as much contact as possible to gain positive value.”
She rubbed her fingers. “Isn’t there any other way?”
System: “There is.”
Deng Li: “Tell me!”
The system cleared its throat. “If you can make her have a good impression of you, you can get positive value even without skin contact.”
The corner of her mouth twitched. I’m just a pawn in Song Chisui’s plan. She despises me. It’s a good thing she hasn’t killed me yet. She waved her hand. “Forget it. I’ll just keep getting more physical contact.”
The glow in her mind faded. Deng Li sighed. When she came to her senses, she was met with Song Chisui’s sinister eyes. “Then what are you doing now?”
Who are you acting for when there’s no one else here?
Deng Li held her breath. She bent down, her face level with Song Chisui’s small one, looking at her astonished eyes. Their noses were inches apart, as she took in the still-innocent face.
“Xiao Sui.”
A shiver ran down Song Chisui’s spine. Deng Li’s body was so big that it felt like she could envelop her.
She squeezed her ring tightly, gritting her teeth.
“If I really wanted to do something to you, do you think you could resist?” The voice was low and commanding, echoing in the large living room.
Is she finally showing her fangs?
Song Chisui rubbed the ruby ring. “You can try.”
The needle in the hidden compartment peeked out.
Deng Li’s narrow eyes half-closed, and she slowly leaned in like a spring peach blossom.
Then don’t blame me for being rude.
Just as she was about to thrust the needle, Deng Li suddenly stood up and backed away. “I was just playing with you.”
Song Chisui hid the silver needle in her hand.
“What do you want?”
“Nothing. I like you, and I want to nurture our relationship. I won’t be forceful, overbearing, or out of control.”
I’m just acting like the original scoundrel. Deng Li felt like a jerk. She never acted like this when she was on a mission before.
The once dignified Chinese field dog, now let loose, was a Siberian Husky longing for freedom.
Song Chisui didn’t believe her, of course. She let out a cold laugh, turned her wheelchair, and, like the wind, left, her wheels crushing the words Deng Li had just said.
••••
Three days later was the first day of school.
Chunmei the butler had returned, and Song Chisui’s daily life was back to normal.
With the butler back, things were much more efficient. The downside was that Deng Li had no reason to get close to Song Chisui. She was getting pitifully few positive points, and if she went too long without contact, she would start losing points.
It’s a good thing school has finally started.
It was autumn, and the sun was bright. The ginkgo trees were turning yellow, and a black G-Wagon crushed the fallen leaves on the street, making a crisp sound.
Deng Li and Song Chisui sat in the back. The whole way, she quietly admired the scenery.
“The weather is great.” She hadn’t had a good look at this world’s scenery since she arrived.
Although it was a fictional world, everything was so real.
After half an hour, the car pulled into the school. Under the envious gazes of the students, it turned into the parking lot in front of the main academic building.
The college students were young and vibrant. They all looked at the only G-Wagon in the school, though they often saw luxury cars like Rolls-Royces, Bentleys, Lamborghinis, and Ferraris.
These all belonged to the Song family. Song Chisui could drive whatever car she liked.
The car stopped. The driver immediately went to the trunk and took out the million-dollar wheelchair.
He then pushed it to the side of the back door.
Deng Li got out of the car first. She closed the car door, went to the side of the wheelchair, and opened the back door.
The people passing by looked at the girl in the luxury car. She was wearing a white dress, with long, straight black hair and bangs. Her jade-like legs were still. She was noble and beautiful.
But…
“Sigh, it seems God is fair.”
“What’s the point of being rich? It’s a shame she’s a cripple, hahaha.”
“What a pity, a disabled leg and that innocent face. A perfect match.”
The harsh whispers were like needles piercing Deng Li’s heart. She glanced at the crowds of people walking away, her heart aching. So this is what Song Chisui, a disabled person, has to endure every day.
She couldn’t help but look at the girl.
She saw that her face was expressionless, as if she hadn’t heard the whispers. She was using her hands to brace herself on the leather seat, trying to move from the car.
“Let me.”
Deng Li quickly bent down, her upper body entering the car. One hand went under her thin back, and the other went under her knees. Their skin touched, and it was a bit cold.
Her heart trembled slightly.
She gently lifted Song Chisui and placed her on the wheelchair. The positive value in her mind soared, but she was so immersed in the recent verbal abuse that she wasn’t happy about it.
She pushed Song Chisui toward the academic building. Light filtered through the leaves of the trees, falling on Song Chisui’s head.
The people around them pointed and whispered.
Song Chisui didn’t say a word, keeping her eyes forward.
“Xiao Sui, don’t listen to their nonsense.”
Deng Li gently patted her shoulder, comforting her.
When she encountered things like this, she felt very sorry for Song Chisui.
“Don’t look at me with pity.” Song Chisui responded coldly.
“How do you know I’m looking at you like that?”
“I can guess.” She stopped her wheelchair and turned her head. The sun outlined her exquisite profile. Even in the bright sunlight, her eyes were very cold.
“Instead of pitying me, you should pity them.”
“Pity them?” Deng Li continued pushing her.
“Of course. Most of them will be stuck in the same place for their entire lives. They can only get comfort by attacking and belittling others to elevate themselves.”
“After graduation, they’ll enter ordinary companies and do work that even a dog would hate. Their lives will be unstable and they’ll barely survive. They won’t find jobs they like, they won’t be able to buy a house, and they won’t be able to be with the people they love.”
That sounds so miserable.
What Song Chisui said was true, but for such a young age, she had already seen through life and had a maturity and rationality that didn’t belong to her.
“That’s the best way to think.”
“Of course. You can still live a good life without legs.”
She said it so calmly. Perhaps in the eight years since she lost her legs, she had already gotten used to life without them, so she was truly indifferent.
Deng Li was stunned for a moment. When she came to her senses, she saw that Song Chisui had already pushed her wheelchair forward on her own.
Her back was so proud, as if she didn’t care about anyone’s opinion.
She really is a ruthless person. Her emotions didn’t even waver.
Deng Li quickly called out to her. “Xiao Sui, wait for me.”
Song Chisui ignored her. After her wheelchair quickly turned into a small forest, the sound of the wheels stopped.
Deng Li took large strides forward and heard Song Chisui’s voice coming from around the corner, sounding different from usual.
It was soft, gentle, and even carried a hint of joy.
“Teacher Jian.”
When she turned the corner, she saw Song Chisui with a smile on her face, looking up at the person in front of her.
The person was tall, about 173 cm, wearing a white shirt, tight jeans, and a sleek, black, straight hairstyle with a center part that reached her chest. She wore a pair of rimless rectangular glasses. Her features were delicate and refined, and even her voice was gentle.
“Chisui, you’re here? Where’s your guardian?”
She looked at Song Chisui up and down, then glanced toward the path.
That’s when she met Deng Li’s eyes.
Deng Li walked up to her and greeted her. “Hello, Teacher.”
The other person pushed up her glasses, and her fair, long hand reached out to her. “Hello, I’m Chisui’s homeroom teacher. My name is Jian Qiuyu.”
“You’re her…?”
Deng Li’s pupils constricted, and a ringing sound began in her ears.
Jian Qiuyu! Isn’t she the person who saved Song Chisui in the original book? The one she always thought about? Her first love?
She laughed unnaturally. After shaking hands with the other person, she blurted out, “I’m her guardian and her new wife.”
