Amnesia Trap (GL) - Chapter 27
Ji Qingfan seemed very sensitive to Sheng Zhi’s emotional shifts.
The feeling of suffocation couldn’t have been pleasant, but she didn’t push Sheng Zhi away, letting her do as she pleased.
Perhaps due to the restricted breathing, the corners of her eyes were flushed with a captivating, delicate pink, and her face was soft and damp with passion, her eyes glistening as if about to weep.
They looked indeed moist, her long eyelashes wet and heavy.
Sheng Zhi found herself unable to look away from Ji Qingfan’s sultry appearance.
She loosened her grip, feeling Ji Qingfan slump into her neck, coughing softly and slowly catching her breath.
Listening to her sounds, she felt it was due to distress, yet occasionally, it sounded like more than just simple discomfort.
It swirled around her like smoke and mist.
She couldn’t help but recall Ji Qingfan in that video.
—The seductive woman in the video was just like the woman in her arms now.
She suddenly had a little… desire to taste.
Perhaps a long time passed, perhaps only a few seconds. She held Ji Qingfan’s waist.
She tilted her head and sealed their breaths.
A mischievous impulse had been sparked.
Sheng Zhi thought: She said I could be excessive, too.
The intimate warmth spread upward.
Permeating the air.
Sheng Zhi felt Ji Qingfan’s shoulders subtly trembling. It didn’t feel like a mistake.
Was her reaction really that intense?
The person in her arms whimpered. If not for the close distance, it would have been nearly impossible to hear what she was saying, but even so, Sheng Zhi struggled for a moment to barely make it out.
She called Sheng Zhi by her nickname, her long, misty eyelashes fluttering, “Zhi Zhi, good Zhi Zhi…”
It sounded like a plea.
Yet, if it was a plea, her fingers were still gripping Sheng Zhi’s hair, clinging fiercely.
Ji Qingfan’s eyes were slightly narrowed.
It was too much.
This unbearable, almost burning sensation, in this state of “neither up nor down,” was too much.
A step further? She couldn’t take it.
Then retreat? It seemed impossible to retreat, either.
“Is there anything else you can’t stand?” Sheng Zhi’s smile was wild, revealing two sharp canines, as if retaliating for Ji Qingfan deliberately tempting her under the meeting table earlier.
“Do you remember how long you were rubbing me before?” She bit Ji Qingfan’s ear, grinding with her teeth, targeting the softest lobe. “I should at least get back a third of that time, shouldn’t I? We’re nowhere near that yet.”
“Look outside, there are so many employees sitting there,” at this point, she changed her tone. “It’s hard to imagine our CEO Ji looking like this.”
Even though the meeting room was soundproof, and neither side could hear the other, she still lowered her voice, speaking in a tone only they could hear, intensifying the secret and thrilling atmosphere.
Ji Qingfan seemed to tremble too much to speak, burying her head back in Sheng Zhi’s neck. Seeing her like this, Sheng Zhi suddenly recalled the last time.
The last time when Jiang Wanyin saw the marks.
The scene seemed similar then, too. Ji Qingfan looked completely dazed from being kissed, yet she was still able to stealthily leave marks on Sheng Zhi’s neck. If Jiang Wanyin hadn’t seen them, Sheng Zhi might not have discovered the marks in that location until later.
Thinking this, Sheng Zhi felt she should just kiss her until she couldn’t react to anything. How could she have so many tricks up her sleeve?
Ji Qingfan clung to her neck, her long hair swept to one side, a faint breath escaping the gap, “If this continues, older sister won’t be able to take it…”
“Can’t take it for real, or acting like you can’t,” Sheng Zhi looked at her, pressing Ji Qingfan’s lips with her knuckle. “Don’t act. You don’t look like you can’t take it.”
The luscious lips were like petals, kneaded into a deeper hue, giving the sensation of oozing sweet juice.
Ji Qingfan was dizzy now. The lack of oxygen seemed not to be subsiding, and she felt a faint tingling and itchiness on the skin of her neck.
…So naughty, so tormenting.
Her eyes became slightly unfocused.
She was worried that Sheng Zhi would notice the change in her body—after all, she was sitting right on her lap.
If she noticed…
Click.
Just then, the meeting room door seemed to be gently rattled by someone.
“Why is it locked? I forgot something inside,” the person trying to open the door mumbled to themselves.
Someone passing by happened to overhear and whispered an explanation, “Let’s talk later. You left early, so you don’t know. CEO Ji might be in there reprimanding Chief Assistant Sheng. Going in now would be asking for trouble.”
She couldn’t hear what the person outside was saying, but the sound of someone trying to open the door was quite clear.
Sheng Zhi thought about how tender Ji Qingfan’s skin was—every time she hugged her, it was like hugging soft tofu—but she hadn’t realized it was this tender; a simple brush of lips and tongue would leave a mark.
Her reaction was even greater than before.
Sheng Zhi couldn’t quite describe her mood at this moment, but seeing Ji Qingfan in this breathless state, capable of nothing but accepting her position, she felt a thrill uncontrollably spread through her. It was even more exciting than speeding down a mountain road in her race car.
Hmm, her desire for revenge was always strong. Ji Qingfan left one mark on her, so it wouldn’t be too much for her to leave a few more, right?
She wasn’t oblivious to the sound of someone trying to open the door, but the door was locked, so there was nothing to worry about.
Ji Qingfan, however, seemed startled by the sound, and her waist jerked violently.
Sheng Zhi felt her movement and pressed down on her waist, preventing her from pulling away, “Why are you panicking?”
She squeezed the back of her neck. While speaking, she suddenly felt a bit damp on her leg.
Was that… sweat from nervousness?
Pathetic.
“Did you forget you locked the door yourself?” She found it amusing.
But meeting Ji Qingfan’s eyes, she couldn’t help but freeze. Ji Qingfan looked like she had been crying, the corners of her eyes red, and her lips moist and swollen from being kneaded.
A little pitiful, and a little…
What’s going on?
The first thought that popped into her mind was: She wants to make her cry even more?
Sheng Zhi looked away. She thought for a moment that she might have gone too far, so she stopped pressing her into her arms and released her hand.
But the moment she let go and before she could speak, her arms were empty.
Ji Qingfan stood up. She swayed slightly, unable to stand steady, but she didn’t lean on Sheng Zhi. Instead, she turned her back to her.
The two people who had been so intimately close were instantly devoid of any physical contact again.
Before turning around, Sheng Zhi clearly saw Ji Qingfan closing her eyes, as if she were desperately trying to calm herself down.
…That made sense. Ji Qingfan disliked her so much; being treated like this by her must have been unbearable.
Her elevated mood felt like it had suddenly hit freezing point, completely cooling down.
Sheng Zhi stared at her, but her lips gradually curved upward, twisting into a smirk.
How rare. Her acting skills were so superb, yet she was forced to turn away to adjust her expression without any apparent reason.
Was it that unbearable?
Thinking back, she had indeed asked her to stop in that tone for the first time while they were kissing.
Of course. How unbearable it must have been.
Because of the moist, soft kiss, their lipsticks were smudged. The lacquer red and rose-red colors blended together, staining the corners of their mouths ambiguously, making it impossible to distinguish the original color, or whose was whose.
Ji Qingfan seemed to have composed herself and turned back, though her cheeks were still a brilliant crimson, like spilled rouge, and her eyes were watery and captivating.
Meeting Sheng Zhi’s expression, she froze, her words halting. She changed what she was about to say: “What’s wrong, Zhi Zhi?”
“What’s wrong? You certainly got down fast enough,” Sheng Zhi also stood up. She looked around, then pulled two tissues from a dispenser nearby. “You used me as a human cushion for so long and sweated so much my leg is damp. You don’t actually think I enjoyed it, do you?”
She wiped off the smudged lipstick on her own lips, then stepped forward and unceremoniously used the tissue to wipe Ji Qingfan’s lips and the corners of her mouth.
The force wasn’t gentle; the tissue rubbed her lips until they stung as if scratched by grit, like a punishment.
Sheng Zhi didn’t know if it was an illusion, but the red on Ji Qingfan’s cheeks seemed to deepen instantly. She asked, “Is it very damp?”
“What else?” Sheng Zhi finished wiping her, tossing the two tissues carelessly into the trash can.
She seemed to be in an even worse mood because of this. She didn’t look at Ji Qingfan again, but as she reached the door, she turned her head and called her name.
Seeing Ji Qingfan look over, Sheng Zhi gave her a very flippant smile, her lively eyes radiating blatant mischief, “I suddenly realized kissing you is quite interesting. We can kiss more often when we have nothing to do.”
Ji Qingfan was so intolerant of it, so she deliberately had to challenge her.
She deliberately drew out the last few words, making them deeply suggestive.
When her words fell, Ji Qingfan was indeed stunned, looking as if she had forgotten how to blink.
Sheng Zhi felt Ji Qingfan certainly wouldn’t have expected her to say that. Such words sounded genuinely surprising, especially since in Ji Qingfan’s eyes, she was someone who had amnesia, was confused by her appearance, and was still uncomfortable with it. Even their physical contact was usually initiated by Ji Qingfan tempting her. In fact, even a few days ago, Sheng Zhi wouldn’t have imagined saying this herself.
But… the thought of Ji Qingfan being so unbearable that she had to turn around to adjust her expression before she could continue acting towards her made Sheng Zhi’s teeth itch with irritation.
She made it seem like she despised her so much. If she had the guts, why didn’t she stop acting towards her in the first place?
When her temper flared, Sheng Zhi couldn’t hold back her sharp edges.
After speaking, she unlocked the door and walked out.
The conference room door finally opened.
The employee who had forgotten something in the meeting room earlier was truly anxious. The moment she saw Sheng Zhi, she froze, her first thought being that the two had indeed argued as everyone suspected.
If she had forgotten anything else, it would have been fine, but she had unfortunately forgotten a nearly completed form that was due and couldn’t be replaced. She had to rush. So, despite her hesitation to speak to Sheng Zhi, she finally plucked up the courage and asked, “Chief Assistant Sheng, may I enter the conference room now? I forgot the form I need to submit inside…”
Sheng Zhi glanced at the junior employee who asked the question, noticing that people around them were also discreetly looking over, and she could hear some faint whispers about criticism and arguments.
Remembering Ji Qingfan’s specific instruction not to use overly intimate terms when referring to her in front of everyone at the company, Sheng Zhi smiled, “Of course. I’ve already finished being criticized.”
She blinked, then suddenly turned back and called into the conference room in a coquettish voice: “Dearest, do you see an extra form on the table? Could you bring it out when you come out?”
—She was unhappy, so Ji Qingfan shouldn’t be happy either. Ji Qingfan didn’t want her to use intimate terms in front of everyone? Then she would use them deliberately, as ostentatiously as possible.
Just like Ji Qingfan couldn’t stand kissing her, then she absolutely had to kiss her, and not just kiss her, but kiss her often.
She drew out the words, putting an unnecessary lilt into her voice.
The junior employee beside her involuntarily shivered, thinking she really shouldn’t have asked. Chief Assistant Sheng had definitely argued with CEO Ji. Her presence was so suffocating, and calling her “Dearest” was definitely a sarcastic jab in front of everyone. It’s over, she’s in trouble…
However, a moment later, CEO Ji came out, not with a cold face, but looking quite pleased.
Most importantly, she actually brought the form out for her: “Don’t forget to take it next time.”
