Summary
Synopsis:
Jian Hao fell in love with her mother’s friend, Tan Yanqing.
Since she was a child, she had heard that Auntie Tan liked someone back in school, but that person broke her heart. Since then, Auntie Tan sealed off her heart and never spoke of love again.
On her seventeenth birthday, Jian Hao plucked up the courage to confess to Auntie Tan. The result was predictable: she was rejected. Auntie Tan told her to go home and clear her head by doing a few more sets of past college entrance exam papers.
Back at home, the more Jian Hao thought about it, the sadder she became. She secretly drank her mother’s red wine. When she woke up, she found she had traveled back in time to when her Auntie was in high school.
After a few days, she was left with two major questions:
-
Aren’t Auntie Tan and her mom best friends? Why is the whole grade whispering that they hate each other?
-
Who was the person Auntie Tan liked?
Consequently, she had two things to do:
-
Find out what’s really going on between Auntie Tan and her mom.
-
Investigate exactly who broke Auntie Tan’s heart! (This one is very important.)
Tan Yanqing naturally became the godmother of her best friend’s child. However, as the child grew older, Tan Yanqing found her more and more familiar.
Jian Hao—
Why does she look exactly like that “scumbag girl” from high school who said she liked her, only to vanish without a trace the very next day?!
