Summary
Synopsis:
The journey of a timid underdog. The protagonist starts off very gentle and honest.
Fang Yiyi, an unlucky college student caught in a spiral of campus bullying, is ostracized and forced to move into the haunted dormitory room 404, where she meets a senior who died with her eyes still open.
Every night, the doors and windows of room 404 are sealed shut, blocking out the moonlight, yet a bone-chilling wind blows inside.
Fang Yiyi is hunched over a broken desk, staring blankly at the red liquid dripping from the chandelier, forming a puddle at her feet. The faint smell of blood hangs in the air.
A pair of icy cold hands, like venomous snakes, wrap around the back of her neck, coiling around her throat. The cold is piercing, and her oxygen is slowly thinning, her breath on the verge of being stolen.
A faint, ethereal voice whispers in her ear, “Aren’t you scared?”
Fang Yiyi gives a blank smile, “You’re not as scary as them.”
After a moment of silent pause, she hears the ghost say, “I don’t believe you. Take me to scare them.”
