Crazy (Lily ABO) - Chapter 28
Teng Lin had a dream.
She dreamt her parents were covered with white sheets on stretchers, being loaded into an ambulance. She ran after the slowly departing ambulance all the way to the hospital. Pushing open the ward door, she found her sister, Teng Fei, lying on the bed, her skin covered in charred burns, her eyes vacant and lifeless. No matter how much she called out, the woman on the bed remained unresponsive.
Teng Lin lowered her gaze, staring blankly at her feet, desperately praying that this was just a nightmare. She wished that when she woke up, she would still be in her studio, her parents would be waiting for her at home for dinner, Teng Fei would be waiting for her outside school with a small bag of roasted chestnuts, and Xin Ruofan would always come to her studio…
Teng Lin’s heart suddenly skipped a beat. Wait, where was Ruofan?
She was startled, looking around. The room was empty; the neat hospital bed showed no signs of having been occupied. Pushing open the ward door again, the hallway was deserted, silent except for the sound of her own heartbeat. Her vision gradually darkened, the last sliver of light in her peripheral vision disappearing as the ward door slowly closed.
She was all alone…
She didn’t know how long passed. Then, a pair of warm hands cupped her face, fingers gently caressing her eyes. Teng Lin blinked hard, trying to clear the tears from her vision, but it remained blurry. She couldn’t clearly see the figure in front of her, only a faint smile on the woman’s face in her hazy vision, and a soft, pleasant voice in her ear.
“Sister Lin…”

When Teng Lin woke up, she saw a pristine white ceiling and smelled the disinfectant of a hospital. Her head felt muddled. It took her a while to remember she was there for a psychiatric check-up.
“No major issues, just mild anxiety symptoms. Have you been under a lot of stress recently?”
“Yes, a little,” Teng Lin nodded.
“It’s normal to feel stressed; appropriate exercise can help relieve it,” Doctor Xu paused, shifting her gaze from the computer screen. “I’ve reviewed your medical records from the UK. Everything seems normal at the moment.”
“While mental disorders do have a certain chance of being hereditary, based on your consultation results over the past few years, there haven’t been any problems.”
“Don’t worry too much; just relax.”
“If you still feel anxious, perhaps confide in your partner. Sometimes, a partner can be the best healer for your soul. For example, you can watch movies together, travel together, or engage in intimate activities to heal your mind and body…”
Teng Lin sat back in the car, closing her eyes, letting her mind completely empty. The diagnosis was no different from before, and she had heard similar advice from doctors countless times. Since being with Xin Ruofan, she occasionally felt a sense of anxiety, fearing loss the more happiness she experienced. However, what she feared even more was that she herself would be the one to destroy this happiness in the future…
Teng Lin rubbed her temples, trying to shake off the chaotic thoughts in her mind, then embarrassingly realized only one vulgar thought remained: engaging in intimate activities with her partner.

After finishing her schedule, Xin Ruofan arrived at the studio and saw an unexpected guest.
He Yuyan sat in the reception room. Hearing a sound, she looked up, and their eyes met. Both subtly sized each other up. As models, though they had never spoken or known each other, both were well-known in the industry and secretly followed each other’s news.
Today, He Yuyan wore a black, strapless cocktail dress, revealing her beautifully sculpted shoulders and neck, and her two full, white breasts pushed together, creating an enticing cleavage. Her long fingers played with the hair falling over her chest, a meaningful smile flickering in her eyes. Xin Ruofan scoffed inwardly, thinking how formally she was dressed; one might mistake it for an awards ceremony. Her gaze, however, secretly fell on those two white mounds, and she muttered to herself that they seemed larger than her own… She pursed her lips, secretly regretting that she hadn’t dressed more sexily today.
Having just finished her schedule, Xin Ruofan, in pursuit of comfort, had simply worn a slip dress with a blazer. This outfit didn’t highlight her excellent figure. The two Omegas remained in a standoff, while Teng Lin’s assistant stood by, barely daring to breathe.
Finally, Xin Ruofan broke the silence. She sat on the sofa opposite He Yuyan, her long, straight legs subtly swaying, a faint smile on her face. “Did Miss He make an appointment in advance?” Xin Ruofan’s opening words immediately took on the air of a proprietress.
He Yuyan maintained a polite smile on her face. “The little assistant just now said Teacher Teng Lin would be back soon and that no appointment was necessary.”
Xin Ruofan turned to look at her assistant and smiled at her. The assistant felt an inexplicable chill run down her spine.
“Miss He is very lucky; she happened to catch her when she had free time. She’s usually very busy. Lately, she’s been so busy she doesn’t get home until midnight.”
“Miss Xin must also work hard waiting until midnight alone. I’m truly sorry; last time, I occupied Teacher Teng Lin’s dinner time, causing Miss Xin to be alone.”
The two exchanged barbed comments, words laced with hidden meanings, and the air subtly thickened with tension.

When Teng Lin returned, she subtly sensed two distinct Omega pheromones permeating the air, an invisible pressure hitting her. As she pushed open the door, two different voices spoke simultaneously.
“Teacher Teng Lin!”
“Sister Lin~”
Teng Lin froze. Her first instinct was to turn and look for her assistant, but there was no one behind her. The assistant’s figure had already disappeared. The Omega pheromones stimulated her gland, making it ache.
Xin Ruofan walked over and actively took her hand, interlacing their fingers. The scent of tuberose enveloped her Alpha, as if declaring her ownership. He Yuyan’s gaze fell on their clasped hands, then she smiled faintly, saying nothing.
Teng Lin awkwardly rubbed the back of her neck. “Is there something you need, Miss He?”
“Yes, actually, my clothing brand’s launch event is next week, and I wanted to invite Teacher to attend.”
He Yuyan extended an invitation. Just as Teng Lin reached to take it, He Yuyan quickly pulled her hand back and kissed the pale pink envelope. She placed the invitation into Teng Lin’s jacket pocket, leaning slightly forward, her full breasts almost spilling out. She whispered close to Teng Lin’s ear, “Remember to come see me if you have time~” She gently blinked, giving Teng Lin a suggestive look.
After He Yuyan left, Xin Ruofan snatched the invitation from Teng Lin’s hand and tossed it onto the coffee table with a click of her tongue, her tone laced with sour jealousy. “It seems like your dinner date last time was quite nice, wasn’t it? Hurrying to throw herself at you so quickly. Teacher Teng Lin is very popular.”
“I refused her last time,” Teng Lin replied, a little flustered.
Xin Ruofan gave her a sidelong glance, then poked the flesh between the Alpha’s legs with her finger. “Then why did you get hard?”
The Omega pursed her lips in displeasure. “You reacted to her as soon as she appeared?”
“Th-that’s because of your pheromones…”
Teng Lin pressed down on the Omega’s restless hand, afraid that something indescribable would happen next. Since taking the doctor’s advice, scenes of lovemaking with the Omega had occasionally flashed in her mind on the way back, causing her lower body to naturally react as soon as she encountered the familiar tuberose scent.
Xin Ruofan was clearly pleased by this statement, the corners of her lips curving upward. She wrapped her arms around Teng Lin’s waist, burying her face in the hollow of her neck.
“You can only react to me.”
