Crazy (Lily ABO) - Chapter 37
“Miss Xin, is it true that the public widely believes you are the daughter of the Xin Corporation’s Vice Chairman?”
“Xin Ruofan, why have you always kept your identity private?”
“Is the marriage alliance between Xin Corporation and Huashi Real Estate true?”
“Are you dating CEO Liu of Huashi?”
“Who is this Alpha beside you? What is CEO Liu of Huashi’s relationship with you?”
Xin Ruofan maintained a graceful smile, leaning closer to Teng Lin, deliberately shielding her from some of the flashes, while smilingly answering the reporters’ questions.
“That’s right, the Vice Chairman of Xin Corporation is my mother.”
“I haven’t been hiding my identity; I’ve been active overseas, and the public rarely pays attention to my private life, which is why there’s been this misunderstanding.”
“I only learned about the marriage alliance from the news. I often see CEO Liu of Huashi in the news, but I don’t know him personally.”
“This is my lover, my only Alpha.” Xin Ruofan leaned in and kissed Teng Lin’s lips. The camera flashes immediately went wild.

The phone rang. Xin Deming turned off the video and answered the call.
“Chairman Xin, what’s with Xin Ruofan’s response online?” Liu Haocheng’s voice came from the other end.
“Mr. Liu, Ruofan and an Alpha are very close; didn’t you know about this? You also said you wouldn’t mind.” Xin Deming replied calmly, his attitude starkly different from the anxious tone on the other end of the phone.
Liu Haocheng: “Her attitude clearly shows she doesn’t acknowledge this marriage alliance. This isn’t what we agreed upon.”
“Mr. Liu, I have completely fulfilled the terms of the contract. Firstly, Xin Corporation fully cooperated with Huashi in announcing the marriage alliance; how Ruofan chooses to respond is not within Xin Corporation’s scope of work. Secondly, the project funds owed by Yufei have all been settled. Finally, Xin Corporation has taken over all of Huashi Real Estate’s unsold properties.”
Xin Deming asked faintly, “Is there any condition I haven’t met?”
The other end of the phone was silent. Liu Haocheng was angry but dared not speak. For Huashi Real Estate, this deal was a sure profit; besides not getting Xin Ruofan, the Omega, he had no losses. And Xin Corporation had indeed never guaranteed that the Omega would be delivered into his hands. It seemed that from beginning to end, Xin Deming had no intention of handing Xin Ruofan over. Liu Haocheng felt he had nothing more to gain and sheepishly hung up.
The conversation ended abruptly. Xin Deming put down his phone, his brows furrowed with anger, taking a deep breath. He wasn’t surprised by Xin Ruofan’s strong response. What gave him a headache was Xin Yufei’s embezzlement of public funds. On one hand, he couldn’t let the board know about it, and on the other hand, he had to find a way to deal with the properties acquired from Huashi. If these matters weren’t handled properly, they would affect the upcoming board elections.
Xin Deming rubbed his temples and glanced at Secretary Liang standing nearby. “How’s the investigation into Yufei selling off shares coming along?”
Secretary Liang nodded. “These are the lists of recent Xin Corporation share purchasers. We’ve filtered out some individual retail buyers. Several of those with larger holdings have had past collaborations with the Zhou family.”
Xin Deming took the list from Secretary Liang’s hand and carefully examined it. The Zhou family, Zhou Zixuan, Xin De’en… He hadn’t expected Xin De’en, after years of lying low, to dare to resist now. Unfortunately, she no longer had any use; it was time to discard her. As for Xin Ruofan, even if the mark was washed away, an Omega’s value would be significantly diminished, and her weight as a bargaining chip drastically reduced. He needed to carefully consider how to utilize this difficult pawn.
“Arrange a medical check-up for De’en and have her stay in the hospital. Continue to monitor Ruofan and that crazy’s movements, and Zhou Zixuan; keep a close eye on that woman too.”
Secretary Liang: “Understood. So, how should we handle Teng Fei?”
“Bring her back.” Xin Deming expertly pulled a cigarette from its pack, lit it, took a deep drag, and a sinister smile curled on his lips. “I’m going to make this Teng family completely crazy.”

Xin Ruofan’s actions caused public opinion online to escalate even more intensely, but she and Teng Lin became hands-off managers, directly handing over the matter to their agent and public relations firm. They now had more important matters to face.
In the dimly lit living room, the laptop on the coffee table emitted a cold glow. The SD card contained two documents. One of them was the autopsy report of Teng Lin’s parents, Teng Hongwen and Zhong Xueyun. The document clearly stated that an excessive amount of a certain drug was detected in Teng Hongwen’s body, and this drug had the exact same components as the aphrodisiac injected into Teng Lin earlier.
Teng Lin read the report several times, yet her emotions remained remarkably calm. From the previous blood report, Teng Lin had vaguely guessed that her father might have suddenly lost emotional control due to being drugged. And this report now almost confirmed her suspicions.
However, this genuine autopsy report had been swapped. Her parents, who were clearly murdered, had been labeled as mentally ill. Her sister, Teng Fei, had also suffered from depression because of this, and Teng Lin herself had lived in constant fear for the past ten years, always worrying if she too harbored a hidden mental illness. The source of all this nightmare was here…
Why was her parents’ autopsy report swapped? What exactly happened to her father? Why was he injected with drugs? Was the sudden investigation into Xinhai Pharmaceuticals back then related to her father?
With only one autopsy report in hand, these guesses couldn’t be proven. Her mind was filled with chaotic thoughts, Teng Lin’s face grew exceptionally pale, and a suffocating sensation made her chest ache. She gasped for air, but felt like she couldn’t breathe any fresh air. Only heavy breathing and a buzzing tinnitus filled her ears, a heavy sense of suffocation silently oppressing her heart.
Suddenly, a pair of warm arms embraced her, the familiar tuberose scent surrounding her, and her rationality slowly returned. Her face was covered in cold, damp tears; she had unknowingly been weeping profusely. Xin Ruofan held Teng Lin tightly, hearing her continuously murmur “Why…” her heart aching as if it were tearing apart. The information before her had also given her a great shock, but she was more worried about Teng Lin’s condition and could only release more tuberose to soothe the uneasy Alpha in her arms.
Teng Lin cried in Xin Ruofan’s arms for a long time. Only by smelling the Omega’s scent and feeling the Omega’s body temperature could she prevent herself from falling into a chaotic consciousness.
“Ruofan… I feel so bad…” Teng Lin looked up, trying to open her swollen, red eyes. Surging tears streamed down her face uncontrollably. “I really want to know what happened to my father back then, but I, I don’t have the courage to face it all… I just want to be with you. I don’t want to know the so-called truth…”
“But I’m not resigned. For so many years, I’ve been afraid I was sick, always avoiding you. I was afraid of becoming like my father, of hurting those around me, and then burning everything down, like my sister, forgetting everything…”
“I’m not sick, am I?”
“I’m not crazy, I’m not a lunatic, I’m not sick.”
“If none of this had happened, would we have been able to be together…?”
“I regret it so much…”
Teng Lin cried, gasping for breath, her words gradually becoming incoherent. Xin Ruofan tightened her embrace, tears welling in her eyes, letting the person in her arms vent. Her Sister Lin was crying heartbreakingly like a child who had suffered immense grievances, her youthful sharpness and confidence worn away over the past decade.
Xin Ruofan cupped Teng Lin’s face in her hands, gently wiping away the cold dampness with her fingertips. She tilted her head and kissed her lips. The gentle, silent kisses gradually became passionate and entwined. Their noses brushed against each other, and her skin touched the cool, gold-rimmed glasses. Xin Ruofan couldn’t help but let out a soft hum, and the bitter peach pheromones suddenly became intensely sweet and fragrant.
They kissed with fervor, sometimes gently biting lips, sometimes licking and sucking, utterly entwined. Their warm bodies pressed tightly together, feeling the rapid heartbeats in each other’s chests, as if that was the only way to truly feel each other’s presence. They wanted to meticulously savor and experience all the years they had missed in this long, lingering kiss.
After a long while, the laptop screen on the coffee table had turned black, entering sleep mode. The two embracing on the sofa clung tightly to each other, foreheads touching, chests heaving.
Xin Ruofan looked down at Teng Lin’s slightly swollen lips, and her eyelids and nose were red from crying, even her ears were flushed, making her look like a perfectly cooked shrimp.
“Sister Lin.” Xin Ruofan gazed quietly at Teng Lin, a faint smile gracing her lips. “Don’t be afraid. You will always be my Sister Lin.”
Xin Ruofan took Teng Lin’s hand and placed it on the back of her own neck, gently caressing the skin above the gland. “No matter what happens, I will always be by your side. I won’t leave you.”
“I will always be your Ruofan.”
