My classmate seems to want to have s*x with me - Chapter 45
Ding Chen and Zhou Qian’an had a clear boundary and slept through the night. The two people who shared the room, after roll call, seemed to have gone to another room to play all night and didn’t come back. The two of them had a peaceful sleep and woke up feeling refreshed in the morning.
After finishing breakfast and gathering in the hall, the whole class boarded the tour bus and, after a short drive, arrived at the amusement park.
Looking out the car window, you can see some relatively tall amusement park rides. Everyone is chattering excitedly, discussing the itinerary for their upcoming visit. Ding Chen isn’t particularly interested in the amusement park, but playing with friends is still something to look forward to.
After getting off the bus and entering the park, the students squatted in the square under the blazing sun, listening to the leader and teachers. Ding Chen caught a glimpse of Qiu Yanzhen jotting down the meeting time and some important notes in her phone’s memo app, her serious demeanor resembling that of taking class notes.
At the entrance of the amusement park, there is a gigantic ride: a long rod with seats for visitors at both ends, fixed at the center to a tall tower, rotating 360 degrees around this center. A large sign reads “Spinning Around.”
The screams of the airborne tourists rose and fell, and just watching made Ding Chen feel nauseous.
Why do humans torment themselves like this?
Zhou Qian’an, standing nearby, was looking at the amusement park map and surprisingly seemed very interested.
“Is there anything you want to play with?” It was rare to see Zhou Qian’an so enthusiastic about things outside of books, so Ding Chen curiously leaned over.
“I want to ride this,” Zhou Qian’an said, looking up with shining eyes and pointing to the dizzying ride. “I just checked on my phone, it’s eighteen stories high!”
How many floors?
Ding Chen’s expression stiffened as she looked at the towering facility that seemed to reach the clouds. It indeed looked very high, and with the exact data, it felt even more terrifying.
“…I’m okay, you go ahead.”
“You don’t dare, do you?”
“I have no interest in abusing myself.”
“How about that one?” Zhou Qian’an pointed to a distant U-shaped roller coaster. The carriages on the track slid to the highest point of the U, paused there for a few seconds, and then rushed to the peak on the other side. Ding Chen looked down at the map; it was an attraction called “Extreme Challenge.”
“I suspect you want me dead.”
Zhou Qian’an laughed, “You’re really missing out by coming to the amusement park.”
While the two were talking, the teacher also finished speaking. Everyone excitedly dispersed, with more than half of the people immediately running into the dizzying queue barriers. Soon, there were hardly any groups left in the square.
“Zhou Qian’an said she wanted to play the Spinning Around.” Ding Chen took the lead, “Do you all want to play?”
As soon as the words were spoken, everyone except Qiu Yanzhen showed excited expressions and said in unison, “Of course!”
“…Then I’ll wait for you downstairs.”
Is she the only one in the entire group who is afraid?
Ding Chen looked at Qiu Yanzhen, who hadn’t responded. Upon receiving her gaze, the other person turned to glance at the eighteen-story amusement ride, “I’ll wait down there too.”
“Are you not going to play?” Liu Ruoqing looked a bit disappointed.
“The breakfast hasn’t fully digested yet, I’m afraid I might feel uncomfortable.” Qiu Yanzhen gave a reasonable explanation, then picked up her phone and shook it, “I can help you take pictures.”
While everyone was talking, they had already moved outside the queue barrier. Ding Chen and Qiu Yanzhen stood outside, watching the others reach the end of the line.
“Are you afraid to ride this amusement ride?” Qiu Yanzhen had just squatted down next to Ding Chen. Although she was listening to the teacher speaking in front, she was also somewhat distracted by the conversation between her and Zhou Qian’an.
“Mm.” Ding Chen admitted very straightforwardly, “Regular roller coasters are fine, but ones that come down from high places are not.”
“What a pity.” Qiu Yanzhen leaned on the railing, taking group photos for her friends while talking to Ding Chen, “I still want to play with you.”
“Ah?” Ding Chen jumped in fright, almost dropping her phone, “I thought you wouldn’t dare either.”
“No, I just didn’t want to throw up my breakfast,” Qiu Yanzhen turned back to look at Ding Chen, pointing at the U-shaped railway track, “I want to ride that one later.”
Ding Chen looked at Qiu Yanzhen’s sweet smile and broke out in a cold sweat, suddenly feeling out of place with the entire group.
The Spinning Around is arguably the most thrilling ride in the entire park. Since it’s located near the entrance, everyone almost immediately chooses to ride it, resulting in a long queue.
The sun overhead was quite intense; even with Ding Chen wearing a baseball cap, she couldn’t withstand the scorching summer sun in the south. She pointed to the huge white building behind them, “Shall we go inside and take a look?”
“Okay.” Qiu Yanzhen looked down and sent a message to Zhang Yiting on her phone, then took Ding Chen’s hand and walked into the huge building that resembled a Greek temple.
The cool air conditioning indoors made Ding Chen feel comfortable enough to let out a long sigh. There were some restaurants and snack stalls on the first floor. After glancing around a bit, the two who had just had breakfast went up to the second floor. The second floor had gift shops and souvenir stores, with various theme park merchandise. Qiu Yanzhen picked up a rhino plush toy, squeezed it a bit, but put it back on the shelf after seeing the price.
The two of them were having a great time inside, almost forgetting the presence of others, until Zhang Yiting called to meet up with them, and only then did they go out and return to the square outside.
Before arriving at the Extreme Challenge, they found that the queue had already formed several long lines. After some discussion, they decided to try something else first and come back to this attraction when the line was shorter.
“I want to go to the haunted house!” Liu Ruoqing shouted, pointing at the map.
The haunted house wasn’t far from where they were, and the entrance was designed like a pirate ship. There weren’t many people in line, so it didn’t take long for Ding Chen and the others to enter.
The ghost ship was very dark, making it hard to see even the route signs. Ding Chen could barely make out the outline of the person in front of her. She wasn’t afraid of the dark, nor was she particularly scared of these horror-themed things. Curiously, she looked around, trying to see the decorations and set pieces beside her.
“Ahhh! So scary, you go ahead, you go ahead!” Liu Ruoqing clutched Li Jiaying’s arm, hiding behind her and slowly moving forward.
“Stop pushing, why do I have to go first?” Li Jiaying, who was a bit bolder, felt a bit scared inside, “And there’s nothing here… Whoa!”
While the two were walking and arguing, a flash of white light suddenly flickered beside them, illuminating a spot that looked like a place where things were piled on the deck. The sudden brightness startled everyone, and Liu Ruoqing let out a scream.
Ding Chen lagged a few steps behind them, not really scared by the light, but startled by the screams. She was a bit speechless, “It’s just a bunch of barrels, why are you screaming…”
The words were only halfway out of her mouth when she suddenly felt someone grab the fabric of her clothes beside her. A familiar warmth pressed against her. She turned her head and could vaguely see Qiu Yanzhen’s wide-open eyes, but in the darkness, she couldn’t make out her expression.
“What’s wrong?” Ding Chen asked quietly.
Qiu Yanzhen didn’t answer, just tightened the fabric in her hands and leaned in closer, pressing half her body against Ding Chen’s back, while her other hand gripped her shoulder.
The obvious look of fear made Ding Chen pause for a moment. When they were discussing the amusement rides earlier, Qiu Yanzhen seemed very brave. She naturally thought that since she wasn’t afraid of the haunted house, Qiu Yanzhen shouldn’t be either. Unexpectedly, Qiu Yanzhen had no defense against scary things.
She squeezed the hand gripping her clothes to make Qiu Yanzhen relax a bit, then pulled that hand down and held it. The unfamiliar warmth and faint scent from her body made her heart race. In a moment of distraction, they had already distanced themselves from the others.
Ding Chen quickened her pace with Qiu Yanzhen, soon catching up with the people ahead. The group arrived in the cabin; although the lighting here was dim, it was much better than before, at least allowing them to see their surroundings.
“This should be the place for sleeping, right?” Zhou Qian’an rarely took the initiative to speak. Zhang Yiting, feeling nervous, was slightly silent, while the two people in front were more restless and noisy than usual.
“Could something come running out from there?” Li Jiaying and Liu Ruiqing were pushing each other, cautiously moving forward.
“Stop talking nonsense.” Liu Ruoqing looked fearfully at the place pointed out by Li Jiaying, quickly closed her eyes again, and pulled Li Jiaying to walk with her.
A group of people moved towards a bright spot ahead, but halfway there, a sudden jet sound startled them, making their souls almost leave their bodies.
“Ahhh!” Liu Ruoqing and Li Jiaying shouted simultaneously, pushing and shoving as they ran forward.
Zhang Yiting was already on edge, and when the other two called out, she couldn’t maintain her silence any longer and joined in, even reaching out to grab Zhou Qian’an.
“Hey, hey, don’t pull me, be gentler, it hurts so much, it hurts so much, it hurts so much!” Although Zhou Qian’an was startled by the noise, she remained relatively calm; it was just that her arm was almost rendered useless from being grabbed.
When the hissing sound emerged, Qiu Yanzhen was clearly startled and jumped slightly, her body lightly bumping into Ding Chen, but she remained silent and made no sound. Ding Chen felt a bit relieved; otherwise, given their proximity, if Qiu Yanzhen had screamed, her eardrums would probably have been in danger.
The two people who rushed to the front entered the brightly lit area, and within seconds, screams and hurried footsteps were heard again. The four people who lagged behind walked over with their hearts in their throats. Thanks to the bright light in that room, Ding Chen finally got a clear look at Qiu Yanzhen’s face. Her little girlfriend’s face was pale, her almond-shaped eyes wide open like a wary cat, with a small tear at the corner of her eye.
“Are you okay?” Ding Chen asked with concern.
Unfortunately, the person deeply entrenched in fear couldn’t care less about responding to her. Their entire being was focused on guarding against the surrounding things. This place looked like the captain’s room, with a simple bed and table, and paintings hanging on the walls.
A few people entered the room and were just about to look around when a zombie-like creature suddenly emerged from under the nearby table.
“Ahhh!” Zhang Yiting was the first to scream, and Zhou Qian’an, startled, cursed, but then immediately burst out laughing at Zhang Yiting’s reaction.
Qiu Yanzhen gasped, her hand clinging to Ding Chen’s shoulder, and buried her face into her shoulder.
Ding Chen suddenly found Qiu Yanzhen, who was startled, a bit cute.
Qiu Yanzhen’s reaction dispelled Ding Chen’s fright. She patted Qiu Yanzhen’s head with her empty hand to soothe her emotions, and then continued to move forward slowly with her.
With the screams of the two pioneers ahead as a hint, Ding Chen and the others’ fear levels decreased somewhat. At least they could anticipate that the next scene might have something scary. After being scared half to death by a few skeletons, ghosts, and strange winds, they finally reached the exit.
Except for the moment when the female ghost suddenly moved, Qiu Yanzhen only screamed once. For the rest of the time, she was very quiet. Their intertwined hands were sweaty, and Ding Chen’s hand was even slightly red from being squeezed.
“Sorry…” After coming outside, Qiu Yanzhen finally noticed Ding Chen’s “miserable state.” She gently rubbed Ding Chen’s hand, feeling a bit guilty.
“It’s okay,” Ding Chen inexplicably became shy, clearing her throat to ease the awkwardness. “Even though it’s red, it doesn’t feel like anything.”
“Actually, it’s quite fun.” Liu Ruoqing twisted open her water bottle and took a sip.
Li Jiaying, with a blank expression, complained, “What are you even playing with your eyes closed?”
“I still have my eyes open, okay!”
“I don’t feel it’s that scary,” Zhou Qian’an said to Ding Chen, then she glanced at Zhang Yiting, stroking her battered arm, “People are scarier than ghosts.”
Watching Zhang Yiting apologize with a flushed face, Ding Chen couldn’t help but laugh out loud. She whispered in Qiu Yanzhen’s ear, “Good thing you’re so well-behaved.”
Qiu Yanzhen shyly glanced at Ding Chen’s still-red palm, unsure if the other person was teasing her or genuinely felt that way. However, thinking about Zhou Qian’an’s earlier request to Zhang Yiting to be quieter in the haunted house, she felt that her quietness could indeed be considered well-behaved.
“Then you have to play Extreme Challenge with me later,” Qiu Yanzhen pleaded pitifully, seizing the opportunity.
When the others heard what Qiu Yanzhen said, their eyes immediately lit up as they looked at her. Ding Chen felt like a poor little lamb surrounded by a pack of wolves, trembling in fear.
Is she really going to leave everything behind today?
