My Psycho-Beautiful Professor Forced Me to Mark Her - Chapter 3
Qi Si took a few seconds to mentally prepare herself at the door. Looking at the Omega woman in the corner again, she lowered her long lashes, her tone as gentle as possible as she said, “You look like you need help.”
“I said get out. Are you deaf?” Lin Ye lifted her eyelids, a shimmering light in her eyes. It took a long time for her gaze to focus on the girl in the white shirt at the door. A clear scent, like a mountain breeze, subtly wafted over. Lin Ye’s nostrils flared, and the blood vessels on her fair skin expanded slightly, like a rose unfolding its delicate petals on a clear, moonlit night.
The scent was gone in a flash, and the girl’s figure disappeared from view, as if that fleeting moment of clarity was just Lin Ye’s imagination.
Lin Ye tilted her head slightly, her eyes open, staring at the dazzling light above. Her pupils contracted to a tiny point. Under the white halo of light, the image of the girl still lingered on her retina.
On the other side of the wall, Qi Si returned the Maserati car key, telling Zhou Danqing with a frustrated look, “…Sorry, I think I annoyed her.”
“She’s not targeting you, she’s just like that. She hates everyone,” Zhou Danqing said, crossing her arms over her chest in a sexy black tank top dress, an unlit cigarette between her fingers, her expression nonchalant. “You don’t have to worry about her. Just get her to her doorstep, and there’s no rush to return the car. You can bring it back tomorrow when you come to work.”
Her attitude and tone were meant to make Qi Si feel like it was a very simple task.
This made Qi Si briefly wonder if she herself hadn’t been good enough, not gentlemanly or considerate enough.
Since it was a task from her boss, she would try again!
After all, it was 2 AM, and she couldn’t just leave a young Omega woman alone.
After her second attempt at mental preparation, Qi Si pushed open the door. At the same moment Lin Ye was about to speak, Qi Si switched off the dazzling, colorful light in the private room with a “click.”
The word “out” was left hanging in the darkness. After a quiet two seconds, Qi Si turned on another soft light.
The soft light made Qi Si’s skin look exceptionally smooth, her eyes as bright as stars, and even her slightly stiff smile seemed as gentle as a spring breeze. She was naturally beautiful, with a tall figure. Just tying her hair into a high ponytail and wearing a white shirt gave her a memorable aura.
Lin Ye’s gaze lingered on her for a long time. When she came back to her senses, Qi Si was crouching in front of her, picking up a silver, red-soled high heel from under the sofa. After distinguishing the left from the right, she nerved herself to find Lin Ye’s foot.
The skirt fabric brushed against the back of her hand. She was fumbling with her head down, and her fingertips touched skin as smooth as congealed fat. The other person trembled slightly and pulled her foot back.
“I can put on my own shoes.” Lin Ye’s voice was like Monet’s garden in the morning, a weaving of colors that made one sink into a reverie.
Her words made Qi Si realize that serving an adult woman was not the same as serving her three-year-old sister at home—yes, adults can put on their own shoes.
Qi Si was probably too nervous and was too embarrassed to say anything. She found the other shoe and set it down. At the same time, she picked up the empty bottles on the floor and put them on the coffee table to prevent anyone from slipping on them.
“You, where do you live?” Qi Si’s voice sounded especially awkward to her. She held her breath, not daring to smell the sweet scent in the air.
“Shuxiang Garden,” Lin Ye said.
Qi Si took out her phone to check the map. After hearing the name, she simply turned off the screen. She wasn’t familiar with other neighborhoods, but “Shuxiang Garden” was right next to her school. She knew the way.
“I’ll take you back,” Qi Si’s hand was frozen in midair, unsure whether to help her up. She glanced at her guiltily and said, “Can you stand up?”
Lin Ye watched her quietly: “Why not?”
The Omega’s pheromones spread through the small room like ripples, layer after layer. The sweet, rich scent of rosehip wine was intoxicating.
Strictly speaking, an Omega in heat is vulnerable and wild, losing their sanity under the torment of desire. But the older Omega woman in front of her seemed calm and sober.
Qi Si couldn’t help but wonder if the other person was unaware of her own state. Her body was unconsciously releasing pheromones, numbed by the alcohol, and she probably couldn’t smell it herself.
Qi Si had read research papers on the subject. It’s said that in some cases, the brain actively sends signals to stimulate the pituitary gland to secrete more pheromones, for instance, to relieve symptoms like dizziness and nausea.
“Are you dizzy?” Qi Si asked with concern.
Lin Ye’s eyelids closed, and she nodded slightly.
Under the light makeup, her cheeks were flushed, her eyes shimmered with a watery mist, and her lips, with a pearl-like sheen, looked especially delicate and tempting.
When she wasn’t cursing, she looked quite well-behaved.
Qi Si looked down at her, finding this foolish thought of hers ridiculous. She was the boss’s friend. What age was the boss? What age was she? How could she use the word “well-behaved” to describe an older Omega woman?
Thinking about what she was about to say, Qi Si looked away. She pushed a strand of hair behind her ear and gently reminded her, “You don’t look very well. Maybe… you need an inhibitor.”
Lin Ye’s eyes softened. She was surprised but not flustered as she said, “You can smell it?”
Qi Si: “Yes, it’s a very rich scent.”
Lin Ye stared intently at Qi Si, her scrutinizing gaze making Qi Si feel inexplicably uneasy.
“…Do you need me to help you?” Qi Si asked softly.
“Yes, very much. A mark would be best.” Lin Ye’s voice was like a watercolor painting, deeply imprinting on Qi Si’s nervous system.
Qi Si swallowed. A string in her mind tightened, stopping herself from overthinking. She lowered her voice, “I can go to the convenience store to buy an inhibitor for you. Which brand… do you use more often?”
Lin Ye couldn’t help but laugh. There was an Alpha who, after smelling her pheromones, could still be so restrained. And the person looked young, as tender as a budding tea leaf in spring, easily snapped at the stem.
She looked at Qi Si with a meaningful expression and explained, “The so-called inhibitors on the market are actually just biological analogues of pheromones. Their effect is merely scratching the surface. A real inhibitor is an Alpha’s pheromone.”
Qi Si leaned in slightly, lowering her voice, and asked politely, “Do you have a regular Alpha partner? Do you need me to take you somewhere?”
At the moment she leaned in, Lin Ye had other ideas. After hearing her naive question, Lin Ye broke down and swore, “Are you a pig?”
Qi Si: “!” Her eyes widened in disbelief. “Are you really Boss Zhou’s friend?”
Lin Ye sneered: “Zhou Danqing?”
“Boss Zhou is kind and gentle and never loses her temper with her employees.” Qi Si mumbled to herself. Even as a worker, she shouldn’t have to take abuse for no reason. She had to fight back.
After racking her brain, Qi Si said softly, “And you’re like a lunatic.”
Lin Ye was surprised: “What did you say?”
“It’s nothing if you didn’t hear it.” A worker’s complaints were never to be repeated.
Lin Ye burst out laughing, leaning back slightly. Her smile seemed to have a magical power, and Qi Si stared at it, lost in thought.
She heard me curse her.
So why is she so happy?
Qi Si sighed inwardly, then thought that she might really be drunk or have encountered something unhappy in her life, just like her unlucky self.
When she finished Su Mo Xiao’s class today, she also had an impulse to destroy the world.
Su Mo Xiao’s hypocrisy disgusted her, and the sycophants who praised her at the university were more annoying than flies. Qi Si would rather spend her energy at the bar than go back to that so-called “ivory tower” society.
She’s not targeting you.
She hates everyone.
In this regard, wasn’t Qi Si the same?
Lin Ye sat on the sofa, lost in thought. She reached for the cup on the coffee table. As she touched the glass, the back of her hand was covered by the girl’s slightly warm hand.
“Don’t drink anymore, I’m taking you home.” Qi Si’s tone was a little more forceful than before.
Lin Ye did not object, so Qi Si took the initiative to approach and help her stand up.
The moment they touched, Lin Ye once again smelled that scent like a clear wind on a moonlit night in the mountains. Her eyes widened, and her body lost its strength. She leaned against Qi Si, her whole body limp.
It was an uncontrollable impulse. She was shocked and angry about it, but her body was weak, and the more she struggled, the more it looked like she was seducing her. In the end, she fell completely onto the girl, like a rude, old scoundrel.
Such a fragrant, fragrant Alpha pheromone. Didn’t they say all Alphas smelled bad?
Lin Ye opened her blurry eyes and once again confirmed the girl’s expression—
Concern, tension, confusion, and hesitation. Her clean, bright eyes showed all sorts of complex emotions, but none of the ones Lin Ye wanted to see.
Not even a hint of uncontrollable desire.
How could an Alpha be so unresponsive to her pheromones?
Lin Ye hated this Alpha. Hated her to death.
“Ugh.” Qi Si had to use all her strength to barely support her with one hand to keep her from falling. If her core strength wasn’t solid enough, she would have already fallen flat on her face.
The other person looked so slender, but why was she so heavy to carry?
Qi Si helped her up with all her might and whispered, “Can you walk on your own?”
Her scalp hurt as the older Omega woman, at some point, had grabbed her ponytail.
And she was pulling on it quite hard.
Qi Si closed one eye in pain, not making a sound, like an emotional punching bag.
“Carry me on your back.” The woman commanded with the softest voice and the fiercest tone.
“Alright.” Qi Si’s tone sounded helpless, but she didn’t hesitate when she carried her.
She was very strong. She took a breath, squatted down, and lifted her onto her back. She also grabbed Lin Ye’s inconspicuous bag from the sofa.
So considerate.
Lin Ye lay quietly on her back, her beautiful, hazy peach-blossom eyes open. She seemed to be thinking about something, and her breathing gradually steadied.
Through the white shirt, the girl’s body had the faint scent of sweat from a long day’s work. Covered by the light pheromones, it wasn’t smelly at all. It was actually a little pleasant.
Zhou Danqing’s car was parked right in front of the bar. It was a coffee-colored two-seater sports car with sleek lines and a high-quality paint finish. Qi Si had seen the boss drive this car before and hadn’t thought it was anything special, but when she got her hands on the steering wheel, she let out a small “wow,” which made the woman in the passenger seat turn her head.
The headlights illuminated the deserted streets in the early morning. A slight chill seeped into the air. Qi Si and the other woman were silent. The only sound in the car was the low rumble of the engine.
In the not-so-long two minutes, Lin Ye, like an observer, curiously watched the immature kid—she seemed very excited, a smile she couldn’t suppress on her lips, but she wasn’t in a hurry. She didn’t rush to drive off; she seemed to be thinking about something.
Finally, she leaned her body toward Lin Ye, burrowing into her arms like a cat. Her cool, long hair fell onto Lin Ye’s lap, and she reached out to search her waist.
Lin Ye inhaled quietly, her body stiffening. She thought she would smell a unique Alpha scent from the girl, but in reality, she only smelled the simple scent of shampoo. This beautiful little Alpha seemed to be completely flawless.
Qi Si lowered her head and found the seatbelt around Lin Ye’s waist. She buckled her in, checked that there were no oversights, and then stepped on the gas, driving the car away from the area.
Passing a 24-hour convenience store, Qi Si got out to buy a bottle of inhibitor. She handed it to Lin Ye through the car window.
Lin Ye rested her head on the headrest, watched her through the car window, and only took the inhibitor after a while, taking a sip like she was breathing in oxygen.
Qi Si drank a can of Fanta outside the car and threw the can away before getting back in. The Omega pheromone scent in the car had indeed faded.
They didn’t speak the entire way until Qi Si drove to the entrance of the residential complex. She broke the silence: “Ma’am, which building do you live in?”
Lin Ye’s eyelashes trembled slightly. She stared out the window, looking cold and arrogant: “Stop here. You can go now.”
With a “bang,” the car door was closed. The woman, with her white handbag and high heels, walked in with unsteady steps.
It was so dark.
Lin Ye’s drunkenness had mostly worn off. She struggled to make out the path by the dim streetlights.
She was wearing a pair of high heels she didn’t usually wear, so she didn’t dare to walk with big steps.
The car’s headlights behind her switched to high beams, casting two large, bright beams that thoughtfully lit up the path for her. The light didn’t move for a long time.
That beautiful little Alpha was still watching her from behind.
The car’s headlights stretched out Lin Ye’s shadow, making it look like a unique, eccentric spirit.
Only when she turned into a path where she couldn’t be seen did the headlights change direction.
She checked the time; her phone showed 02:33.
At this hour, the dorms were locked, and forcefully knocking on the door would get her a scolding from the dorm manager and would wake up her roommates.
She still had a theoretical class to attend tomorrow morning at 8:30 AM.
After weighing her options, Qi Si parked the car at the entrance of the complex, ready to spend the night in the car.
When it was light, the glare hurt her eyes. Qi Si wasn’t sleepy anymore. She checked the time again: 6:46 AM.
The scent of a breakfast stand wafted over from the side of the road. Qi Si went to line up. Someone also came up to line up behind her, but after glancing at her, they looked surprised and immediately turned and walked away.
Qi Si: “?”
She bought three buns and a bag of soy milk. Back in the car, she ate heartily, making sure not to get the boss’s car dirty. She opened the door to throw the trash away.
“Qi Si, is that your car?” Behind her, Su Mo Xiao’s voice made her freeze slightly.
