My Psycho-Beautiful Professor Forced Me to Mark Her - Chapter 6
That kick avenged her phone and made Qi Si famous at A University again. She was labeled as a “super-aggressive Alpha,” and Omegas would walk around her on the street.
The next night, her counselor came to the female Alpha dorm to talk to her. After learning that the fat man had provoked her first, the sly old man just said lightly, “He bumped into you, and you weren’t injured, but you broke his bone with a kick!”
Qi Si didn’t say a word. Her roommate from the physical education college couldn’t stand it anymore. She slammed her fist on the desk and said angrily, “Did you watch the surveillance video?! The fat man deliberately caused trouble, deliberately bumped into her, and made her phone smash to bits. He even threatened and intimidated her. Can’t you tell who’s right and who’s wrong?!”
It had to be a female Alpha from the physical education college. Her words immediately silenced the counselor.
His name was Guo Mi, a thirty-two-year-old who had stayed at the school as a counselor after graduating from A University with a master’s degree. In his six years of work, he had learned one rule for handling student disputes—accommodate the loudest. Whoever made the biggest fuss and had the strongest support, he would side with them.
The sly old man was a passionate young man before he started his job. Now, he was being lectured by a female Alpha from the physical education college, and his face turned red. After a long silence, he said, “I’m here to talk today, not to argue about who is right or wrong, but to figure out how to mediate this matter…”
“Mediation is simple. Make the fat man apologize to Yuan Lǚ!” The physical education student said with great momentum and force, mispronouncing Qi Si’s name.
Guo Mi: “…?”
This was the Nth time he had heard someone mispronounce Qi Si’s name today. Hearing the wrong name so often, Guo Mi began to suspect that “Yuan Lǚ” was Qi Si’s real name.
“Okay… Qi, no, Yuan Lǚ, can you describe the situation at that time?” Guo Mi took out his voice recorder to start recording.
At this moment, the people from dorm 601 also came over. Shen Yixuan and her group stood at the dorm door, their arms crossed, showing their stance: “We’re here to demand justice for Yuan Lǚ.”
Everyone was there. Guo Mi was a little flustered. He pulled a chair over and said to Qi Si, “You can start. If what you say matches the surveillance footage completely, then there’s no argument.”
Qi Si told the story of how she was followed in the library, repeating the fat man’s threatening words without missing a single word.
Shen Yixuan’s face turned cold. She suppressed her anger, and her fists audibly tightened.
The physical education student was furious and cursed, “What a lowlife, to be so malicious. Online bullying is one thing, but to go this far… Does he think A University is his home? That Su Mo Xiao is also a piece of crap…”
“It has nothing to do with the senior!” The pink-haired girl immediately retorted. “How could the senior know they would do something like this!”
The physical education student sneered, “What kind of bad habits have you lowerclassmen picked up? Instead of learning good things, you learn to act like fans. When something goes wrong, you just say it has nothing to do with your idol. If she had come out and said something, would things have gotten this bad? Do you have to force my roommate to drop out before you’re satisfied? What kind of behavior is this? Shouldn’t a counselor do something about it?”
Guo Mi: “Ah…”
The atmosphere became increasingly tense. Although Shen Yixuan and her group wanted to help Qi Si, they were still die-hard fans of Su Mo Xiao. How could they let themselves be called “fans”?
Just as they were about to retaliate, they heard Qi Si say, “Actually, it’s my fault. I’ve been working part-time off-campus recently, and I haven’t been paying attention to the online rumors, so I didn’t take them seriously. Su Mo Xiao probably wouldn’t instruct anyone to do something so boring. Besides, I did act on impulse, and I don’t know how badly that student was hurt?”
Her attitude was sincere, her tone was humble, and she was calm.
It was hard to imagine that this was someone who was currently being bullied online.
For a moment, everyone in the room secretly admired this Alpha with a strong inner spirit.
Guo Mi “coughed,” adjusted his glasses, and said, “He’s actually… not too badly hurt. He just broke his thumb.”
“Ha, that’s quite serious,” another gaming enthusiast roommate stared at her screen, wiggling her fingers as she mercilessly mocked him. “It’s just a little bit more serious than a genital fracture.”
Everyone burst out laughing. Qi Si corrected her, “The genitals don’t have bones.”
After the joking, Qi Si said to the counselor, “I can pay for his medical expenses, but he has to pay for my phone.”
Guo Mi: “Ah, this is hard to handle…”
The female Alpha from the physical education college punched the armrest of the dorm bed. The metal armrest immediately dented. She said, “What’s so hard to handle?”
Guo Mi chuckled dryly, “Student, all I can say is that I’ll do my best to mediate…”
Shen Yixuan hadn’t spoken the entire time and hadn’t joined them in laughing at the fat man. She had a serious expression on her face. Only now did she say, “Can we ask senior Mo Xiao to come and mediate?”
The pink-haired girl was startled and tugged on Shen Yixuan’s arm. “Are you kidding? The senior doesn’t want to…”
Shen Yixuan: “Why not? Is Yuan Lǚ so scary? She’s a victim who did nothing wrong. If senior Mo Xiao comes out to mediate, this online bullying storm will surely calm down!”
The pink-haired girl looked like she was about to say something, but she was so frustrated. However, Shen Yixuan had already decided to do it.
She was just that kind of person. It was as if she only had one way of thinking, only knowing right from wrong and never considering the complexities of human nature. For her, justice, she would do anything. But she would never kick someone while they were down. When others thought her ideas were naive, she was already on her way to executing them and might have even achieved her goal.
The next day, Shen Yixuan announced in the class group: they had successfully invited senior Su Mo Xiao to join their class’s fall outing.
This news was unexpected and exciting. As soon as it was posted, the group immediately blew up:
: Oh my god, is this for real?
: Holy crap, the goddess is going on the fall outing with us?!
: I must be dreaming. This Sunday, I get to go hiking with the goddess?! Oh my god, she actually agreed?!
: Oh my god, I should’ve voted for Universal Studios. How can we let the goddess go through the trouble of hiking with us?
: What an unexpected twist. I thought the senior’s attitude would be… Ugh, how to put it, the senior is truly beautiful and kind!
: +1
: +1
: I’m so excited right now. I thought after that incident, the senior would look down on us. I can’t believe it. Oh my god, who understands my excitement right now?!
: I do, I do. I’m also very excited. Hiking. What will the senior wear tomorrow? A windbreaker would also look so good on her! [Heart] [Heart]
: I know, right? But I feel a little conflicted. I don’t know if this is because of that person [facepalm]
: I heard her phone is broken, so she won’t see it even if we talk about her [sly smile]. You can say whatever you want, no need to be shy [sly smile].
: Can we really?
: Is the thing about the ex true? I’m so curious!
: What was she thinking? If it were me, I’d be so ashamed I wouldn’t dare show my face.
…
Shen Yixuan: Class group, please do not talk about others.
After she said this, the constantly refreshing chat suddenly stopped. A moment later, someone @Shen Yixuan: Senior Xuan, how did you manage to invite the senior? Why did she agree to go out with us?
Shen Yixuan: I invited her, and she agreed. That’s it.
The weather on Sunday was sunny. The students of Class 1, Medical School, Year 23, gathered at the gate of A University. Shen Yixuan held a flag, counting the number of people over and over again. She handed out armbands and sun hats to everyone, saying, “The bus might be a little crowded when it arrives. Today is a special case. Many students who are not in our class have joined today’s fall outing. Please be patient, take care of each other. The weather is a bit hot today, so please take care of the Omegas around you during the hike…”
Someone interrupted, “We don’t need to be taken care of!”
Shen Yixuan: “Okay, then please take care of me.”
Everyone laughed: “Hahaha.”
Qi Si was at the back of dorm 601. She had her long hair in a low ponytail, her head bowed as she studied the park map. Suddenly, Ji Min touched her arm.
“Su Mo Xiao is here,” Ji Min reminded her softly.
Su Mo Xiao got out of a pink Audi. She was wearing a body-shaping bodysuit, a baseball cap, and a high ponytail. Her sunglasses were on the brim of her hat. Her outfit was very youthful and energetic, and she greeted the younger students with a generous smile.
The scene immediately turned into a fan meet-and-greet. The order that Shen Yixuan had maintained for half a day was immediately gone. The students swarmed her, “Wows” and screams filling the air:
“Senior, you’re so pretty today!”
“I’m so happy. Thank you, senior, for hiking with us today!”
Su Mo Xiao smiled and brushed a strand of hair from her ear. “Thank you for inviting me to join your fall outing.”
Her fans squealed. Su Mo Xiao looked at the corner away from the crowd. Qi Si was also looking at her, and the atmosphere became subtle for a moment.
Under everyone’s stunned silence, Su Mo Xiao walked toward Qi Si. Her smile, under her delicate makeup, was calm and poised. The corners of her lips curved up evenly. Her voice was flat when she spoke, like a soulless machine. She said, “How have you been lately?”
Qi Si: “?”
She lifted her eyelids and saw her former deskmate and ex-girlfriend giving her a trivial act of charity.
A casual act of concern was equivalent to announcing to everyone—their relationship was not as bad as the online rumors said, and she, Su Mo Xiao, had never instructed anyone to bully her ex online. Everyone should think for themselves.
Qi Si was silent for a few seconds. But the other person’s kindness was, after all, a handout, and her patience was limited. Without waiting for Qi Si’s reply, she turned around and said to Shen Yixuan, “Junior, your class has a lot of people. The bus probably won’t be able to fit everyone, right?”
Shen Yixuan: “Uh…”
Su Mo Xiao: “My brother drove me here. I’ll take his car. How about we meet directly at the entrance of the park?”
Some people immediately looked disappointed when they heard this. Shen Yixuan said, “Okay, then be careful. We’ll meet at the park. If you can’t find us, just call my phone.”
Su Mo Xiao smiled sweetly and agreed. She put on her sunglasses, got back in the passenger seat, and left gracefully.
After she left, the pink-haired girl said anxiously, “Yuan Lǚ, the senior said hi to you. Why did you ignore her?!”
“Yeah, she came over just to say hi to you. She’s such a good person!”
Shen Yixuan blew her whistle to restore order: “Everyone, line up. The bus is coming soon!”
The last student got on the bus, and the driver was about to leave when he saw a fat man in a black T-shirt with his finger in a cast running after the bus in the rearview mirror.
The fat man waved desperately: “Wait for me! I haven’t gotten on yet!”
He chased the bus to the front, panting. Qi Si was standing at the door. She was hit by the upgraded stench of his sweat. She held her breath and stopped the fat man: “Don’t get on. The bus is full.”
When the fat man saw her, he was so angry. “Oh, you say it’s full, so it’s full? Who are you?”
Qi Si stepped back and turned her face away. She couldn’t help but suspect that the fat man hadn’t showered since he broke his finger. It was so disgusting that she wanted to throw up her breakfast.
The girls in the front row frowned and covered their mouths, trying not to vomit. Due to social etiquette, they didn’t point out the problem on the spot.
Qi Si exhaled and said to the fat man, “You can get on the bus, but first, go take a shower and change your clothes. I don’t know how you can stand this stench, but no one in this bus can. You should think about it yourself. Ask everyone on this bus if they’re willing to wait for you, or if they’re willing to be in the same space as you.”
The fat man sniffed and smelled his armpit. This action made a group of people yell “Holy shit,” and a male Alpha in the back row stood up and shouted, “You fat ass! What the hell! I thought this was your pheromone scent!”
“Hahaha, pheromone scent, you’re killing me!”
Everyone burst out laughing. The pink-haired girl scolded, “Everyone shut up! Don’t curse people’s mothers!”
“Okay, okay!”
The fat man’s face turned beet red in embarrassment. The driver was in a hurry to leave and suggested, “Why don’t you just sit in the back and don’t affect my driving?”
The back row immediately erupted: “No way!”
“I… I just got hurt and it’s not convenient,” the fat man’s eyes were tearing up in his frustration. “You guys… I… I… I finally caught up to the bus!”
“Not convenient, but you’re still hiking?”
“Go home and rest, fatty!”
“Seriously, what if it smells so bad that the senior smells it? What do you think she’ll think of you?”
“I’m leaving! It’s all… all your fault… Yuan Lǚ! I… I hate you!”
In his shame and anger, the fat man said this last harmless sentence.
Qi Si: “.”
The bus started and drove for two hours to the park. Su Mo Xiao had been waiting for a long time. She was in a professional outfit with a hiking backpack, a water bag, a pair of brand-new hiking shoes, and a carbon fiber hiking pole in each hand. With her sunglasses and hiking hat on, she was the epitome of urban fashion. The uncles and aunties on the side of the road couldn’t take their eyes off her.
The large group began to enter the mountain. From then on, someone would stop to rest every ten meters. The group was stretched out like a broken string of pearls. Su Mo Xiao was in the middle, accompanied by her brother and surrounded by her fanboys, who would ask from time to time, “Senior, are you thirsty? I brought water.”
“Senior, do you want to stop and rest?”
“Senior, I brought watermelon. Do you want some?”
When Qi Si reached the top of a hill, she looked down and saw the medical school team exhausted at the halfway point, a few hundred meters below her.
Shen Yixuan finally caught up to her, holding her knees and panting heavily, her body drenched in sweat. She looked at her in disbelief and said in an exhausted voice, “You… aren’t you tired?”
Qi Si: “No. Do you want to take a picture?”
“Okay, let me wipe the sweat off. Help me take one.”
The view from the top of the mountain was excellent. After taking the picture, Shen Yixuan admired it for a while. Seeing Qi Si continue to walk forward, she immediately followed, not wanting to be left behind.
What was so great about being Su Mo Xiao’s fanboy? Since she’d met Qi Si, Shen Yixuan’s perspective had broadened.
At 5 PM, the group with the least physical strength finally reached the top of the mountain, two hours later than Shen Yixuan had estimated.
This was not good news. At 7 PM, when Shen Yixuan gathered the group at the foot of the mountain, two students were still missing and couldn’t be reached. After asking around, she found out that the two had taken a shortcut to get to the middle of the group and hadn’t been seen since. They couldn’t be reached by phone either.
It was already dark, and people were getting panicked, sensing that something big was about to happen.
Su Mo Xiao had already left in her pink Audi and was heading home. The remaining group of teenagers in their late teens had lost their leader. One or two Omegas were crying while calling their families. Even Shen Yixuan was stunned for a long time. She only remembered to call the rescue team when someone reminded her.
The students, who had been hiking all day, were mentally and physically exhausted and began to blame each other:
“You guys, as Alphas, all you did was fawn over the senior! You didn’t care about your classmates at all!”
“What about you? You saw them take a shortcut and didn’t stop them. Don’t you know taking a shortcut while hiking is a death wish!”
Amidst the noise, Qi Si asked a few questions to the last person who saw the two students, and then, without another word, she started to head back.
In the dark, the mountain looked even more majestic and terrifying. Qi Si’s figure was as thin as a fallen leaf. She entered the mountain gate without making a single sound.
Someone noticed her and exclaimed, “What is she doing?”
“Is she going to look for them?”
“Holy crap… is she that responsible?”
“So cool…”
