President Ji’s Cat - Chapter 6
The lights in the backseat of the taxi were off. It was very dark, with only the intermittent passing streetlights providing brief flashes of clarity within the cabin.
Ji Chufeng looked at the woman leaning against the window at the other end of the seat, her eyes closed in a light slumber, and then looked back out the window.
After a moment of consideration, she said to the driver, “To a hotel.”
The woman was very drunk. Ji Chufeng had originally intended to bring her “home,” but the implications of what would happen there were self-evident.
After weighing it again, she decided she couldn’t take advantage of someone in this state. She planned to settle the woman into a hotel and leave.
She would treat it as her good deed for the day.
However, her words took on a different meaning in the other woman’s ears.
Although this was Fu Sixue’s first time at a bar alone and her first time leaving with someone, she knew exactly what a hotel implied. She opened her eyes; the alcohol made her consciousness sluggish.
The woman sitting across from her was wearing a white suit that looked particularly striking in the dark cabin. Through the light reflecting from outside the window, Fu Sixue saw the beautiful curve of her profile. Her posture was so elegant she looked like a noble from a fairy tale.
Fu Sixue closed her eyes again.
Her hand, resting by her side, instinctively tightened into a fist, her knuckles turning white. She didn’t loosen her grip until a sharp pain radiated from her palm.
She had been a rule-follower for so many years. Just once, she wanted to be reckless.
Fu Sixue was truly drunk. If she weren’t, she never would have leaned over to proactively kiss the other woman’s lips.
“…” Ji Chufeng hadn’t expected to be suddenly kissed. Her body stiffened for a second before quickly relaxing.
She placed her hands on the other woman’s shoulders and met her gaze in the dim cabin, her voice dropping an octave: “You know… what this means.”
The other person didn’t answer, so she took it as silent consent.
The interior of the car returned to silence. Even when they reached their destination and got out of the car, she didn’t say another word, simply following Ji Chufeng in silence.
But due to the alcohol, her steps were slow and unsteady, as if she might topple over with a gust of wind.
Ji Chufeng walked two steps ahead, stopped, and turned back to look at her.
The woman was slightly shorter than Ji Chufeng—about 170cm—and wasn’t wearing heels. Her figure was slender; the height difference made the 175cm Ji Chufeng feel a surge of protectiveness.
When the woman reached her, Ji Chufeng took off her blazer and draped it over her shoulders. The night was a bit chilly, and the woman was only wearing a thin dress; she had seen her shiver just now.
Then, she proactively reached out to hold her hand, feeling the woman’s body go rigid for a moment.
“Don’t be nervous,” Ji Chufeng offered a shallow smile. “I’m very gentle with girls.”
“…”
After checking in, Ji Chufeng held the key card in one hand and continued to hold the woman’s hand with the other as they walked toward the elevator.
There were only the two of them in the elevator. Ji Chufeng looked at the number on the card and pressed the button for the 21st floor, watching her companion through the elevator mirror.
“Is this your first time?”
“…”
Fine. Based on this reaction, Ji Chufeng was now certain the other woman had never had a hookup before.
Coming out of the elevator and heading to the room, the woman remained silent.
This was the first time Ji Chufeng had encountered such a “cold” partner. She thought for a moment and proactively asked, “What’s your name?”
The woman seemed to have sobered up slightly. She managed to reply: “Do you really need to know my name for a one-night stand?”
This was also the first time President Ji had received such a “sober” response.
The reply was so logical that Ji Chufeng found her own question a bit funny. “Well, I need something to call you. I can’t exactly call you ‘Ma’am.'”
“You can.”
“…”
After a brief silence, Ji Chufeng said to herself, “I’ll just call you Little Kitty.”
“…” This time, it was the other woman’s turn to be silent.
The two arrived at the door. Ji Chufeng swiped the card. At the sound of the beep, she felt the hand she was holding tremble.
Entering the room and closing the door, Ji Chufeng didn’t turn on the lights. Instead, she turned around, propping one hand against the door and using the other to tilt the woman’s chin up.
In the darkness, she unerringly captured those beautiful lips. A second later, a passionate kiss followed as expected.
In this regard, Ji Chufeng was always the proactive one; she would never be content to be handled by others. She was very good at manipulating her partner’s emotions.
She tasted a faint hint of alcohol—a blend so seamless she couldn’t tell if it was her cocktail or the other woman’s Macallan.
Ji Chufeng could feel that the other woman’s kissing technique was very amateurish. This discovery was both surprising and a delightful surprise.
Tonight, she had plenty of time to teach.
…
The temperature in the room continued to rise, and the air grew thin. A hand slid gently between her fingers and slowly tightened.
The atmosphere was reaching its peak.
However, Fu Sixue opened her eyes at that moment. Seeing the face magnified before her, she could feel the other woman’s breath on her cheek, yet her gaze was unfocused.
“No…”
Her eyes were hazy. At the critical moment, she stopped Ji Chufeng’s movements. Her bitten lip and furrowed brow made her look so pitiable that one’s heart would melt.
“Okay.”
Ji Chufeng realized the reason. This wasn’t just her first hookup—it was her first time, period.
Ji Chufeng understood women’s preferences very well. Even without “going all the way,” she could make her feel pleasure.
Usually, she never accommodated anyone in this area, but this “kitty” was destined to be different from the others.
“I’ll just kiss you.”
…
When Ji Chufeng woke up, the warmth of another person beside her was long gone.
She slowly sat up in bed, her gaze gradually clearing. She rubbed her temples and got out of bed.
Her first instinct was to look at the table, secretly hoping her partner from last night had left contact information.
Last night’s experience had been different from every previous one for Ji Chufeng. The woman’s voice was beautiful—especially her dazed, helpless look when her emotions were stirred. It was incredibly cute.
But she hadn’t left a single shred of information, which left Ji Chufeng feeling unexpectedly disappointed.
Realizing she was overthinking, she shook her head and went into the bathroom to shower.
The woman seemed to have left in a great hurry; she hadn’t even stayed to wash up.
When changing to leave, Ji Chufeng saw an earring by the pillow. She moved the pillow aside, and the earring was revealed.
It was an unfamiliar earring, not hers—which left only one other possibility.
To be so flustered that she didn’t even check if she’d dropped something; Ji Chufeng could imagine the woman’s panicked escape.
She was likely regretting drinking last night, but she should also be glad she had run into Ji Chufeng.
At least Ji Chufeng was a woman of her word; she really had just “kissed” her.
Ji Chufeng shook her head with a smile, wrapped the earring in a tissue, and put it in her coat pocket.
Though she didn’t know why she was keeping it—it was just a one-night stand, and they would never meet again.
Ji Chufeng went to work in a bright mood. She had already decided how to deal with her foolish “brother.” Compared to her state last night, she looked like a completely different person.
However, the other protagonist of the event was clearly not as carefree.
Fu Sixue woke up feeling like her head was going to explode. She rubbed her temples, but after a few rubs, she realized something was very wrong.
Feeling the direct contact between her skin and the bedsheets, she realized this wasn’t the feel of pajamas.
The worst part was the sensation of being held in someone’s arms. A memory flash-backed into her mind; almost instantly, a shiver ran through her, and she went rigid.
When she turned to see another woman in the bed, her mind went blank. Her face turned deathly pale. Almost instinctively, she sat up.
Finding the space in her arms suddenly empty, the other woman frowned and began reaching around for something. Watching her movements, Fu Sixue clutched the corner of the quilt with both hands, taking two sharp breaths. She was so nervous that she forgot her headache; her heart was practically leaping out of her throat.
Fortunately, the other woman just rolled over and went back to sleep.
Fu Sixue scrambled out of bed and hurriedly put on her clothes, her hands shaking so much she missed the buttons several times.
Then, she bolted out the door.
She ran out of the hotel and quickly hailed a taxi, her departing figure looking utterly disheveled.
Sitting in the back of the taxi, Fu Sixue still hadn’t processed the information she had received in those ten short minutes.
She had… done it with someone last night?
And the other person was a woman…?
Fragments of the night jumped into her mind.
“Do you want to come home with me?”
“I’ll just kiss you.”
“Baby…”
Those voices were still echoing in her ears. Fu Sixue propped her elbows on her knees and covered her face with her hands.
She was crazy. Absolutely insane.
She had just gone to a bar for a couple of drinks to drown her sorrows, only to sell herself off after a few drinks. She had vastly overestimated both her tolerance and her rationality.
Wait…
Last night, in a similarly cramped car cabin, a cool, crisp perfume had lingered in her nose. The scent had grown clearer as she moved closer.
…It was she who had been proactive.
“Miss, are you alright?” The driver, seeing the passenger’s terrible complexion in the rearview mirror, couldn’t help but worry. “Should we go to the hospital?”
Fu Sixue shook her head. “No need.”
More than a hospital, she felt like running her head into a pillar.
The morning after indulgence was met with endless remorse. She regretted why she had lost her mind last night.
Was it simply because that sentence—”Come home with me”—had moved her heart?
But what was done was done; there was no turning back. She should be glad it was a woman she met last night. She…
Fu Sixue’s expression shifted slightly. She slowly lifted the hem of her dress and, as expected, saw several dark marks.
Even after being single for years, she knew exactly what those were. Thinking back to what that person did to her last night…
Shameless.
“What a strange passenger,” the driver thought, stealing a glance. She was deathly pale a moment ago, and now she was turning a deep shade of red.
