Targeted by the Movie Queen - Chapter 5
“This isn’t funny at all,” Su Zi said, her voice trembling, her tone heartbreakingly fragile.
Shen Chuxia didn’t move, but soon she felt something wet against her shoulder.
She froze, and when she turned to look at Su Zi, she realized—Su Zi was crying.
“You—”
“Don’t pretend you don’t know me… I’ll be your little servant, okay? I was wrong, I swear I’ll never do it again…” Su Zi sobbed pitifully, clinging to Shen Chuxia.
Shen Chuxia was stunned.
Then, Li Man returned.
Li Man pushed the door open, about to speak, but the moment she looked up and saw the scene before her, her jaw nearly dropped.
Good heavens, what was she witnessing?!
Su Zi was crying?
Everyone knew Su Zi was famously aloof—aside from her professional acting where she could shed tears on command, she never cried.
But now…
Li Man seriously wondered if she had gone blind—not just a little blind, but completely, because how else could she be seeing this?!
Seeing Li Man, Shen Chuxia immediately felt like she had found a savior.
But her supposed savior merely shrugged, signaling that she couldn’t help.
“I’ve got things to do, so I’ll head out first. Bye. The director’s already looking for you two—don’t keep him waiting.”
“But I—” Shen Chuxia tried again, but Li Man pretended not to hear, shutting the door behind her as she left.
Su Zi remained stubbornly attached to Shen Chuxia, who sighed helplessly.
“Su Zi… can we talk?”
“I won’t listen unless you forgive me first,” Su Zi said childishly, tightening her grip.
Shen Chuxia pressed her lips together in exasperation.
“But the director is waiting for us—”
“Then hold my hand while we go,” Su Zi said, grabbing Shen Chuxia’s hand.
Shen Chuxia stared at their joined hands and couldn’t help but ask, “Are we really in the kind of relationship you’re talking about?”
Su Zi buried her face in Shen Chuxia’s neck, her voice muffled.
“Xiao Chu… please stop being mad at me. I’ll do anything if it means you’ll forgive me. Just don’t keep pretending you don’t know me—it hurts too much. The way you look at me, the way you talk to me… it scares me. Punish me however you want, but not like this. I can’t take it.”
“Su Zi, I—”
“I was wrong… I shouldn’t have left, shouldn’t have abandoned you… Please don’t punish me like this… I’m begging you…” Su Zi clung to her, her tears soaking into Shen Chuxia’s shoulder.
Shen Chuxia was at a loss for words.
“Su Zi…”
“Xiao Chu… I love you so much… Don’t torture me like this… I’m going crazy…”
Su Zi suddenly cupped Shen Chuxia’s chin and kissed her, their lips pressing together in a heated clash.
Shen Chuxia clenched her teeth, resisting, but Su Zi had already seized control—there was no refusing her now.
One hand cradled the back of Shen Chuxia’s head while the other tilted her chin up, forcing her mouth open.
Su Zi’s lips moved insistently against hers, but Shen Chuxia refused to yield.
Yet Su Zi always had a way to break her.
The hand at her nape slid lower, finding a sensitive spot—then lightly brushed against it.
Shen Chuxia jolted, her eyes flying open as a gasp escaped her lips.
And just like that, Su Zi seized her chance.
Su Zi was like a ravenous big gray wolf, one hand gripping Shen Chuxia’s sensitive spot while the other pinched her chin.
Her body grew increasingly limp, but the moment she felt the buttons on her clothes being undone, she startled awake and pushed the person in front of her away with all her strength.
Su Zi was breathtakingly beautiful yet icy, exuding an indescribable chill. Blood stained the corner of her lips, yet the heat in her gaze as she stared at Shen Chuxia remained undiminished—as if she might pounce at any second.
