Summary
Synopsis:
After a car accident, Lü Zhongcai discovers she is the scum Alpha (A) living in a novel about a Scum A, and the wife who currently “deeply loves” her, Jin Sique, is the novel’s protagonist Omega (O).
As the Scum A female supporting character, she was steeped in bad habits, cheating despite being secretly married for years, not only flirting around but also treating the female lead O as a substitute and a tool to achieve commercial ends. Eventually, the female lead O’s old flame returns, the two reconcile and join forces for revenge, brutally tormenting the Scum A female supporting character—Lü Zhongcai—until her gland is removed, her business collapses, and she is left tragically wandering the streets.
In order to change her fate, Lü Zhongcai decides to completely reform, aggressively boosting her favorable impression score, and striving for an amicable parting with the female lead O.
However, when Jin Sique goes into heat, Lü Zhongcai is overwhelmed by the rich, intoxicating scent and loses all reason… Upon waking up, the female lead O before her looked as if she had been ravaged by a storm. The deep coldness in the female lead O’s eyes, and the look directed at her, showed an undeniable resentment.
So, it was for this reason. Every past intimate encounter she had thought they shared, was not what Jin Sique truly wanted? Was the compliant Omega who let her have her way, just a disguise?
Lü Zhongcai frowned, feeling troubled. How should she compensate her?
Jin Sique had a refined, orchid-like demeanor and hair as black as ink. As an Omega, after her family fell into ruin, she relied on Lü Zhongcai to pay off all her family’s debts.
Their relationship was one of mutual exploitation and unequal status. Jin Sique waited day and night for Lü Zhongcai to lose interest so she could be discarded.
But who would have thought that after the car accident, Lü Zhongcai would change her previous aloof, distant, and cold-hearted demeanor?
Lü Zhongcai awkwardly says, “Sique, are your classes finished? I’ll come pick you up.”
“Sique, a new handbag. Do you like it?”
“Sique, this dress suits you. Do you like it?”
“Do you like the property deed for the Biyun Garden apartment? I weighed a few pounds of gold bricks and will send them over to you.”
“…”
Jin Sique never felt these benefits were deserved. With two slender and long fingers, she touched the pankou (knot button) of her cheongsam, her expression lazy and indifferent.
Lü Zhongcai smelled the pheromones on her nose, her expression slightly stunned. What did that mean?
The gold bricks from the Lü family were delivered to the opera house. Jin Sique was enduring a sore back while painting, and she was slightly dazed when she saw the delivered items.
She wants it again tonight? Is Lü Zhongcai crazy?
But who knew that such madness would one day become something she missed and savored.
After the divorce, Lü Zhongcai thought she had escaped the flames, but who knew that upon opening her door, her ex-wife was standing there?
Jin Sique scrutinizes Lü Zhongcai. The former lazy, casual eyes now hide a knife-like cold glare. “What’s wrong? I’m not welcome?”
Lü Zhongcai: “…”
