Transmigrated as the Cannon Fodder Marked by the Villain (GL) - Chapter 29.1
After leaving the dorm building, Ruan Jiyan accompanied Fu Qingyun to hers.
It certainly was the Medical School. Almost every dorm window had clean white lab coats hanging to dry.
Ruan Jiyan couldn’t understand why Fu Qingyun had been so foolish as to choose a major she couldn’t even understand.
In her view, Fu Qingyun, who was untalented and reckless, insisted on coming to Imperial University purely to spend money and seek suffering.
The original host genuinely came to mess around, so whether she attended classes or not was irrelevant. Fu Qingyun relied on her wealth and power to “run rampant.” Even if she got demerits or failed courses, she didn’t care.
For Fu Qingyun, standing at the base of the Medical School dorm, the sight of the swaying white coats instantly triggered a conditioned reflex.
“Sister, which floor do you live on?”
“Fourth floor.”
Fu Qingyun didn’t even know the names of her university roommates.
People who bought their way into school were typically not well-regarded, especially someone as arrogant and overbearing as the original host, Fu Qingyun.
So, she was mentally prepared. She expected the moment she opened her door, she would be treated exactly as Ruan Jiyan was just now.
“Sister, let’s go up.”
The elevator arrived, and Fu Qingyun and Ruan Jiyan stepped inside.
A cool, handsome female Alpha, holding a cigarette, walked in just as the elevator door closed. Seeing people inside, she immediately put out the cigarette and apologized.
“It’s nothing.”
Seeing the woman carrying a full set of white lab coats, Fu Qingyun knew she was likely a medical student too.
Back then, Fu Qingyun chose the medical major partly to satisfy her vanity (to show off) and partly because she thought it was an iron rice bowl career.
It wasn’t until she stepped through the school gates that she realized she had plunged into a bottomless pit—once in medical school, regrets are immense.
The elevator moved steadily upwards. Fu Qingyun opened a shopping app on her phone, planning to buy some home furnishings. Just as she was about to hand the phone to Ruan Jiyan, the female Alpha who had been smoking asked:
“You must be Senior Fu Qingyun, right?”
“That’s me. Is something wrong?”
Fu Qingyun didn’t recognize this cool girl, but judging by her tone, she certainly recognized Fu Qingyun.
“Of course, I recognize you. Your name is famous throughout our Medical School.”
Fu Qingyun: “…”
Somehow, the phrase “famous throughout the school” sounded like a derogatory term.
Ruan Jiyan looked at Fu Qingyun with curiosity. Since she had been withdrawn for nearly a year, she naturally didn’t know what had happened at school.
Fu Qingyun couldn’t ask why, so she had to call out 419.
“Little Four, quickly, check for me why the name Fu Qingyun is so famous.”
419: 【The original host had a two-year failure rate of ninety percent. She broke the Medical School’s historical record of zero failing grades and has won the failing champion title for two consecutive years.】
Fu Qingyun fell silent again.
Makes sense. Given how the original host spent her days indulging in extravagance, chasing people, and flirting, it would be a miracle if she actually studied well. Especially with medicine being such obscure and difficult knowledge, it was commendable that Fu Qingyun even grasped the basics.
What a waste of the Fu family’s excellent genes. Fu Qingyan was a business magnate, but as for Fu Qingyun, not only did she not study, but she constantly caused trouble outside, requiring her “tool-brother” to clean up the mess every time.
“Senior, I truly admire you. Ever since you joined the Medical School, all of us who don’t study well mention your name before every final exam. Today, I finally met the living Senior.”
Living…
Why did that sound so awkward?
Although Fu Qingyun rarely attended classes, her legend still circulated throughout the Medical School.
Fu Qingyun: “…”
The three people in the elevator were silent for a long time. Ruan Jiyan, who felt like she had just watched a play, finally burst out laughing once the cool girl stepped out of the elevator.
“Sister, you are quite famous.”
Fu Qingyun shouted internally: I quit! Whoever wants this miserable academic life can have it!
So that was it. They all viewed Fu Qingyun as a negative example.
“Don’t laugh.”
Fu Qingyun covered Ruan Jiyan’s mouth, but couldn’t stop the amusement in her eyes.
She used to be praised by teachers and envied by her schoolmates. Now she’s reduced to this.
Fu Qingyun swore she would fix her image, or at least stop failing courses so miserably that even the grading professors couldn’t save her.
Ruan Jiyan was starting her second year, and Fu Qingyun was in her third year. Technically, Ruan Jiyan should call her Senior.
However, she still preferred being called Sister.
Her palm suddenly felt something soft and warm. Fu Qingyun realized Ruan Jiyan was sticking out her tongue to lick her palm, and her entire body started tingling again.
“Ruan Bao, what are you doing!”
“Licking you.”
Ruan Jiyan said it seriously, showing no trace of a blush. Fu Qingyun, on the other hand, felt her cheeks heating up. When she touched them, even her ears were burning.
Ruan Jiyan succeeded in teasing her. She loved watching Fu Qingyun’s flushed and shy expression the most.
“Sister, what’s your dorm number? I’ll go in with you to take a look.”
“Okay.”
Fu Qingyun held the room card for 403. After opening the door, the layout inside was identical to Ruan Jiyan’s dorm.
If only they could live in the same dorm. Unfortunately, Fu Qingyun was an Alpha, and Ruan Jiyan was an Omega. Alphas and Omegas couldn’t share a room; it would cause big trouble.
The dorm was empty. Only Fu Qingyun’s bed was made. The other beds were empty. Just as she thought she would have the entire dorm to herself, a tall Alpha with a mixed-race appearance walked in.
“Hi, girls.”
This mixed-race Alpha greeted Fu Qingyun and Ruan Jiyan right away. She was carrying a heavy suitcase and dragging a bag containing bedding behind her, walking in out of breath.
“Let me help you.”
Fu Qingyun pushed Ruan Jiyan onto her chair, then stepped forward to help her mixed-race roommate with the suitcase.
“Thanks, baby.”
“You’re welcome.”
Fu Qingyun inexplicably felt like laughing at the other person’s Chinese-Western hybrid greeting.
A moment later, another Alpha pushed the door open and entered.
Fu Qingyun saw a girl with a high ponytail. Although she was an Alpha, her build looked similar to an Omega. In Fu Qingyun’s opinion, she was likely malnourished.
“Hello, my name is Xuan Yu.”
She didn’t have a suitcase. She was carrying a heavy sack of fertilizer on her shoulder, which probably contained bedding.
“Be careful.”
Fu Qingyun helped her take the bedding down and placed it by her bed.
Sure enough, a fertilizer sack is a standard accessory for university students. She had done it too, only the sack she used for bedding was a pig feed sack.
The thought reminded Fu Qingyun of embarrassing incidents from her university days.
Xuan Yu wiped the sweat from her brow, exhausted. She smiled when she saw Fu Qingyun: “Thank you. What’s your name?”
“Fu Qingyun.”
“What a lovely name.”
Ruan Jiyan sat quietly on the chair, watching Fu Qingyun chat with her roommates. They had just met, yet they were already so friendly. If they spent more time together, she might not have room in her heart for Ruan Jiyan anymore.
She sat on Fu Qingyun’s chair, looking around at the other person’s desk setup and the pink, princess-like bed.
When did Fu Qingyun’s preferred style become this?
“Sister, I’m going now.”
“I’ll walk you downstairs.”
Fu Qingyun followed behind Ruan Jiyan. She felt that the other person was sulking today, likely still bothered by that Omega in her dorm.
“Sister promises you we’ll go look at houses this weekend. I already found a good area near the school, and the price is reasonable.”
Ruan Jiyan looked at Fu Qingyun’s serious expression, then recalled what happened in the dorm earlier. She felt entirely ill at ease.
Fu Qingyun wasn’t just hers anymore. They were now on a university campus. Although it wasn’t the outside world, there were still countless temptations.
What if a more beautiful Omega confessed their feelings to Fu Qingyun one day?
Ruan Jiyan couldn’t imagine it. She was always insecure about this person.
Fu Qingyun was too outstanding—her looks, figure, and temperament. Even Ruan Jiyan herself couldn’t resist her, let alone others.
“Sister.”
Ruan Jiyan grabbed Fu Qingyun’s hand, pulled her behind the door, reached up to move her long hair aside, and bit her on the scent gland at the back of her neck.
“Hiss…”
A sharp pain shot through Fu Qingyun’s neck. She hadn’t expected the Alpha scent gland to be so vulnerable. Just a bite from Ruan Jiyan’s teeth made her gasp in pain.
“What are you doing?”
Ruan Jiyan showed her sharp little canine teeth. She licked the teeth that had bitten Fu Qingyun’s scent gland, finding a faint taste of red wine. Then, she smiled slyly:
“Marking you.”
Fu Qingyun put one arm around Ruan Jiyan’s waist, pulling her closer, then leaned into her ear and chuckled softly: “It’s broad daylight. What if someone sees us?”
Fu Qingyun only knew that Alphas could mark Omegas. She hadn’t realized Omegas could mark back.
It seems Fu Qingyun still doesn’t have a clear grasp of the ABO world’s rules. She needs to study quickly.
“I don’t care. I need to put a stamp on you, or how else will anyone know you already have an Omega?”
Listening to Ruan Jiyan’s confident statement, Fu Qingyun lightly pecked her full, red lips: “You’re acting like a child.”
But she loved it.
After walking Ruan Jiyan back again, Fu Qingyun belatedly realized that the two of them were being completely silly. Do people in love really become stupid, or did her IQ suddenly drop because she entered a new environment?
Returning to her own dorm, Fu Qingyun looked at her bed. Sure enough, it was all pink, like a little princess’s room.
This must be the handiwork of her clueless older brother. Fu Qingyun couldn’t think of anyone else with such unique aesthetics.
Never mind. She would make do for now. She had already found a house and was just waiting for the weekend to go with Ruan Jiyan to meet the landlord.
