Summary
Synopsis:
Qiao Xi, with her gentle personality, always thought she would differentiate into an omega, so she always claimed she was one.
One day, Qiao Xi was kicked out by her landlord because she couldn’t pay rent.
Just as she was homeless, she saw an ad for a “professional omega stand-in.”
To make a living, Qiao Xi went to the audition and, surprisingly, passed by simply lying there like a “salted fish” (a Chinese slang term for someone who has given up and has no motivation).
She became the stand-in for the aloof and arrogant eldest daughter of the Yu family, Yu Xiaoxiao.
At first, Qiao Xi just thought: “Just be a good stand-in and get food and a place to stay.”
Later, Qiao Xi suddenly noticed some changes in her body: “I’m not an O? Why do I have…?”
Qiao Xi thought to herself: “No, I have to hide it, or I’ll lose my job.”
Until one day, Yu Xiaoxiao, with a flushed face, cornered her against a wall: “You damn well better come over here and help me out!”
When Qiao Xi smelled the pheromones, her eyes widened in shock: “You’re actually an O?”
After that, Yu Xiaoxiao threw the stand-in contract in front of Qiao Xi, giving her a choice: “Either keep going or get lost.”
Qiao Xi, with great resolve, said: “I, Qiao Xi, would rather starve to death, or jump off your villa, than be your tool!”
Later on, Qiao Xi was lying in Yu Xiaoxiao’s arms, saying: “Smells so good” (a common Chinese phrase that means “I was wrong and now I love it,” often used to describe eating delicious food after initially refusing it).
