The long-awaited sex led to a deep and comfortable sleep for the couple, who woke up only when the alarm clock went off at 9 AM. Getting up now, grabbing a bite, and heading to the airport was perfect timing. Her mother  had booked the tickets. The flight took off at 12 PM and would arrive in B City around 1 PM; the journey was not long. Fu Shuyun, who had classes on Monday, would fly back on Sunday afternoon, leaving the rest of the time for her parents.

Shi Jing drove Fu Shuyun to the airport. Since they had plenty of time, she parked the car, accompanied Fu Shuyun to get her boarding pass and check her luggage, and planned to greet her family. After all, she was dating their daughter. Since Fu Shuyun had mentioned it, and she was already here, showing basic courtesy was necessary.

This composure vanished the moment she saw Fu Shuyun’s two mothers.

Huh? Fu Linfeng is Fu Shuyun’s Ma-mi? My girlfriend is my boss’s daughter?

“Ma-mi, Mama!”

Seeing her two mothers, Fu Shuyun immediately walked over, pulling Shi Jing along. Fu Linfeng, being much older, remained composed regardless of what she was thinking. Even after clearly seeing Shi Jing, she didn’t show much emotion. Shi Jing was indeed excellent, but if she was to be her daughter’s partner, the consideration was not just about the individuals but a conversation between two families.

“This is my Ma-mi, and this is my Mama.”

“This is my girlfriend, Shi Jing.”

Although it wasn’t a formal occasion, it was their first “meeting.” Shi Jing didn’t know how she got through that moment. She was simultaneously thinking about how to confess everything to Fu Shuyun and what to say to Fu Linfeng.

After all, in Fu Linfeng’s eyes, she was just an employee. Sigh, if I had known this, I should have joined my own family’s company. No, if I hadn’t stayed in A City, I wouldn’t have met Fu Shuyun.

She also attached a company stock chart. She held 10% of the shares, a coming-of-age gift from her parents. Shi Xu also held 10%. Even though they weren’t at the stage of marriage, she was impatient to lay everything out for Fu Shuyun.

On the other side, General Manager Fu’s special assistant looked at Shi Jing’s file in silence. Someone with a family company who still comes out to work—rich people working to experience life, while poor people work to survive desperately. For example, with one piece of information from the boss, he had to handle everything. After a quick review, he sent all the information to Fu Linfeng.

Equally shocked were Fu Linfeng and Fu Shuyun. Fu Shuyun hadn’t realized that the company Shi Jing worked for was the Fu Corporation and that she was working there despite having her own family company.

I hope Ma-mi didn’t find out and then make things difficult for Sister at work, like arranging excessive business trips to reduce their time together. Before the plane took off, Fu Shuyun leaned over to her Ma-mi and Mama, acting affectionately. She also confessed everything that happened before she dated Shi Jing, subtly speaking up for Shi Jing.

“Ma-mi~”

It was rare. Her daughter hadn’t been this cuddly since she grew up. As a mother, she wanted to pick her up and toss her in the air, let alone an attractive young Alpha. Who could resist this? She was exactly like her wife when she was young.

“Ma-mi has no objection. Your happiness is what matters most.”

Fu Linfeng affectionately stroked her head. She knew what her daughter was worried about. She wasn’t someone who mixed business with personal matters and wouldn’t intentionally make things difficult for Shi Jing at work because of this. Remembering the company was planning to expand its business in D City soon, this was a perfect opportunity. She immediately messaged her special assistant, stating that she would handle the matter personally and instructed him to contact Cun Dong Construction, specifically asking to speak with the owner.

After Fu Shuyun returned to her seat, Fu Linfeng confessed the entire situation to her wife. Her wife had wanted to help her at the company before, but Fu Linfeng refused, promising to support her and not make her suffer after marriage. She wouldn’t drag her in even if the company faced difficulties, which they weren’t.

Since that was the case, she fully supported Fu Linfeng, taking care of the family. Fu Linfeng had never disappointed her.

“Linfeng~ How are you planning to handle this?”

“This is much harder than when you fought for the General Manager position.”

Indeed. Becoming General Manager only required winning over the board of directors, but this involved the entire company watching. Fu Shuyun was destined to join the company later. Whether she could sit in that position depended on her own abilities. As for Shi Jing, she had all the capabilities, but now she was dating Fu Shuyun. Even if FLF remained strictly professional, there would be voices of doubt.

Fu Linfeng felt a massive headache for the first time. Forget it, I won’t think about it. She kissed her wife and leaned on her shoulder to rest her eyes.

Shi Jing drove off to buy home appliances, planning to get a dishwasher and a bigger refrigerator. She checked the time; the plane hadn’t landed yet. Everything should be done by the time Fu Shuyun came home tomorrow. She hadn’t told her parents about the whole situation. If she couldn’t handle this properly, she didn’t deserve to be Fu Shuyun’s Alpha.

She regretted thinking it was unnecessary during the renovation; now she had to buy a dishwasher after the fact. While browsing, she received a video call from Fu Shuyun. It seemed she had gotten off the plane. It was a good time to show her.

“Sister~”

Although they had just separated, seeing Fu Shuyun on the video made her feel like it had been a long time. She missed her girlfriend after two hours apart.

“Darling, come take a look. Which one do you like?”

She turned the camera toward the dishwasher rack. Fu Shuyun immediately pouted. Sensing her girlfriend’s mood, Shi Jing quickly switched the camera back to front-facing.

“If Sister chooses, you’re not allowed to say you don’t like it~”

Fu Shuyun’s family was on their way to the hotel. Fu Linfeng, sitting nearby, heard her daughter on video and felt the pang of her daughter growing up and leaving the nest. She used to cling to her like that when she was little, demanding to be held as soon as she got home. Now, she was doing it with another Alpha. She only hoped that person would treat her well.

Fu Shuyun had a separate room. After putting away her things, she was waiting to go out shopping and was chatting with Shi Jing. She received a message from Yun Yan with the new class schedule. Right, half the semester was over, and two courses were finished, just waiting for the exams.

Hmm? Yay! She didn’t have classes during the first two periods on Monday morning. Now she could go back to school on Monday morning, gaining an extra night to spend with Sister—if there was no roll call on Sunday night. Excitedly, she sent the schedule to Shi Jing. Shi Jing was naturally delighted. Who wouldn’t want to cling to their girlfriend all the time?

She had considered asking Fu Shuyun to move in and buy her a car. If it was too much trouble, she could drive her back and forth every day. For two people in love, sleeping together was happiness, even without sex. After much thought, she still didn’t voice it. She felt it shouldn’t come from her, the Alpha. She would only offer support if Fu Shuyun brought it up and would be ready for her to move in anytime.

Now, she was even more grateful that she hadn’t said anything. Living off-campus during university required a guardian’s written application. If General Manager Fu found out…
