Willow on the Palace Wall (Lily ABO) - Chapter 7
007: I Want You
The Alpha, struck in his scent gland, immediately rolled his eyes, falling face down with a heavy thud and passing out.
“Impressive!” Hiding in the shadows behind the tent, Xiao Chu couldn’t help but gush with admiration for Su Ce’s skill.
Luckily, there were plenty of soldiers around and the noise was loud, so no one but Su Ce noticed her.
Su Ce subtly gestured for her to stay hidden, a bored expression on her face that she didn’t even bother to conceal.
She clearly knew she would win, but she hadn’t expected her opponent to be so weak and useless.
“The country has its laws, and the army has its rules. Under my command, you will abide by my rules!”
Su Ce began to issue orders. Xiao Chu watched in fascination, her own pheromones beginning to stir. She loved the murderous aura around Su Ce; it was the exact opposite of her own Omega nature, yet somehow it was a perfect match.
“Those who drank without permission will receive 20 strokes of the rod,” Su Ce said, pointing to the trembling soldiers huddled in the corner. “As for this man who disrespected his commander… 100 strokes. Drag them all away!”
“Yes!” Su Ce was an effective leader with great prestige in the army. Disobedience was rare; most soldiers held her in high esteem.
As soon as she spoke, the pale-faced soldiers, along with the unconscious Alpha lying on the ground, were taken away for their punishment.
No one noticed that the Alpha was already awake. He feigned unconsciousness as he was dragged a few steps, then suddenly rose, broke free, and drew a hidden dagger, charging at Su Ce who had her back to him!
Of course, Su Ce could have dodged it. But just as she was about to turn and evade, she changed her mind.
The grain being prepared in the capital had no known arrival date, and the same went for the pheromone-suppressing pills hidden within it.
For a long time, her heat had been suppressed by those pills. Imperial Physician Han had warned her, “Once you miss a dose, the heat will retaliate with full force. It will be difficult to suppress your scent again, Princess. You must remember this!”
“Sister, look out!” Su Ce never expected Xiao Chu to suddenly rush out and try to shield her from the blade. It was too late for her to turn around!
Xiao Chu gritted her teeth, bracing for the sharp pain of the blade piercing her shoulder. She couldn’t let Su Ce get hurt, to prevent what was about to happen.
In her previous life, Su Ce had intentionally let that Alpha stab her in the shoulder. Because of it, Su Ce was not found out to be an Omega. However, in the subsequent battle, her shoulder injury caused her to be captured by the Wu Kingdom. She was then framed for treason and imprisoned, suffering great torment!
In this life, she would not allow such a thing to happen.
The searing pain never came. Instead, she felt a warm liquid spray on her face.
Blood. The Alpha’s blood sprayed onto her face as Su Ce’s Mian sword sliced past Xiao Chu’s side and plunged directly into the Alpha’s heart.
Xiao Chu used her tongue to lick away a drop of blood that had landed on her lip. The strong, bloody taste, once the foul stench of the Alpha’s pheromones was gone, was identical to the scent of Su Ce’s pheromones from their wedding night, when Su Ce had been a soft, boneless mess in her arms.
She smiled in satisfaction, but just before Su Ce turned around, she feigned unconsciousness, breathing softly like a proper Omega.
“This young Omega seems to have only been frightened. There is no serious injury. If the General is worried, I can prepare a couple doses of a calming tonic for her to drink.”
“Thank you, Doctor Xi.” After seeing the military doctor out of the tent, Su Ce returned to find Xiao Chu still lying there feebly, reaching out to Su Ce with teary eyes.
“Sister, I feel bad!” she whimpered.
“Are you still pretending?” Su Ce said, but she still walked over and took Xiao Chu’s hand.
“I really do feel bad. My heart is racing, sister, you can feel it!” Xiao Chu said, pushing Su Ce’s hand into her clothes. Su Ce had no idea she wasn’t wearing an undergarment and found her hand directly touching Xiao Chu’s soft, warm breast. It was a hot, tender mound that immediately flushed her face.
Su Ce had never been so physically intimate with anyone. She immediately tensed up and tried to pull her hand away. But Xiao Chu wouldn’t let her go so easily. She subtly twisted her body, and her engorged, hardened nipple brushed against Su Ce’s callused palm. Xiao Chu arched her back in response to the sensation, letting out two soft, humming moans.
“…Mmm, oh… How could my sister be so rough? I did save your life, you know. Aren’t you going to thank me?” She blinked, feigning ignorance, but a wet, palpable desire glistened in her eyes.
“…Well… what do you want?” Su Ce was genuinely flustered. She returned to her desk, pretending to calmly look at a map, her mind filled with the memory of that soft, delicate touch. It had been a long time since she had felt such a tender, supple presence in the military camp.
“Anything in this tent, besides the sand table and the maps, you can have.”
“Anything? Then I’ll have to choose carefully!” Xiao Chu said, her spirits high, as she scrambled up from Su Ce’s bed. She looked around, her eyes wide with curiosity.
Although this was only a temporary camp for the army, it was still far more impressive than a regular manor or residence. Just the animal-skin rug Su Ce was sitting on was priceless.
Xiao Chu picked up a tiger-shaped glass paperweight from the desk. “Is that true, sister? Anything in this tent, besides the sand table and the maps?”
“Of course, it’s true,” Su Ce said gently, her eyes reflecting the paperweight. “Your taste is good. His Majesty gave me this. There are only three of them in the world…”
“Only three? Then I don’t want it,” Xiao Chu said, casually tossing the paperweight back onto the table. She met Su Ce’s gaze and suddenly gave a sweet, toothy smile. “I’ve decided, sister.”
“Alright, what do you want, Xiao Chu?”
“I want you, sister.”
