Synopsis: 

For twelve years, the Grand Princess held power over the entire imperial court. Yet in the end, Jing Ya joined forces with the emperor to bring her down, leaving her dead and her reputation ruined.

But after Jing Ya overthrew the Grand Princess, what good did it do her?

The emperor only wanted to get rid of his hound once the hare was dead. Afraid that once one Grand Princess was gone, another Jing Ya would rise in her place, he turned around and confiscated the Jing family’s property, then imprisoned Jing Ya.

After being granted a cup of poisoned wine, Jing Ya died full of hatred—and was reborn.

She swore that this time, she would never misjudge anyone again.

And yet, never in her wildest dreams did she expect that she was not the only one who had been reborn.

[At the beginning]

Princess Royal: (through gritted teeth) Someone! Drag Jing Ya out and chop her up to feed the dogs!!

Jing Ya: (utterly bewildered) …??? Weren’t we supposed to join forces?

[Then]

Princess Royal: (hinting like mad) Hey, come join forces! Join forces! Come on, join me!

Jing Ya: (utterly bewildered) …??? Did I misjudge her again?

[Finally]

Princess Royal: (deeply satisfied) The wonders of joining as one are even greater than ruling over all the rivers and mountains.

Jing Ya: (utterly bewildered) …??? Weren’t we supposed to join forces?!! Join where? This location seems a little wrong…
