Summary
Synopsis:
Song Qi was an unsuccessful web novelist. After reading Tianxing, a wildly popular martial arts novel, she was left with all kinds of lingering resentment over how the story ended. For the beautiful, powerful, yet tragically miserable villain, she wrote a ten-thousand-word review with even more enthusiasm than she showed when working on her own novel.
That night, Song Qi was so devastated by the villain’s death that her heart suddenly began to ache. Then, to her disbelief, she transmigrated—and straight into the world of Tianxing, where she inexplicably became the male lead’s younger sister, who happened to share her exact name!
Fine. She could accept transmigrating.
But the male lead’s sister in Tianxing was a character who was useless at absolutely everything except running her mouth. Song Qi could not exactly say the character had nothing to do with her. In fact, they were practically identical!
Just as Song Qi began unleashing a stream of curses, an electronic voice sounded in her mind.
“Song Qi, I am System Hutu Number Two. Your mission is to change the great villain’s ending. Once you complete your mission, you will be able to return to the real world!”
Song Qi: “Wait. Did you say I have to change the ending of my beloved dark moonlight?”
Hutu Number Two: “Correct.”
Song Qi: “But she’s already turned evil!”
Hutu Number Two: “…Oh no. I set the time incorrectly and sent you to the wrong point in the story.”
Song Qi: “…What did you say your name was again?”
Hutu Number Two: “Hutu Number Two!”
Song Qi: “I’m tired. Just destroy everything.”
Nevertheless, Song Qi eventually began doing everything in her power to change the fate of the beautiful, powerful, and tragic villain—all while constantly complaining about the system.
However, as time went on, things began to feel increasingly strange…
One night, Wen Wanxi tugged Song Qi closer by her sash and said softly, “Stay with me tonight.”
Song Qi clutched her sash tightly, her palms breaking out in a cold sweat.
It was over. It was all over.
She had completely derailed the script!
