After Losing Her Memory, the Teasing O Flirts with Me Every Day - Chapter 10
Wen Ye’s smile stiffened slightly. She looked at Jiang Jinyi with surprise and questioning in her eyes.
Jiang Jinyi’s brows had already furrowed in anger. “Why are you here?”
“Has Xiao Jin forgotten what she becomes like when she gets drunk?” Jiang Youwan looked at her, her eyes smiling, and said meaningfully, “When you were little, don’t you remember?”
What she became like when drunk… when she was little?
The temper Jiang Jinyi was about to throw was choked back by Jiang Youwan’s words, and she inevitably fell into a memory.
That memory…
In less than a few seconds, not only her ears, but her entire face turned bright red. Coming back to herself, she flew into anger from embarrassment. “Jiang Youwan!”
Angry. So angry. A fierce little cat.
Would she bite?
Jiang Youwan could not help smiling. She took the wine from her hand. “Be good. We won’t drink anymore.”
“What do I become like when I drink?” Jiang Jinyi was so angry that she laughed instead. Without avoiding the people around them at all, she said to her, “And what do you become like when you’re drunk? Jiang Youwan, don’t you remember? It was just a few nights ago.”
Jiang Jinyi cursed in a low voice, “Cheap woman.”
Cheap woman?
Then so be it.
Perhaps because she had faced it too many times, Jiang Youwan was not hurt much by Jiang Jinyi’s words. At least right now, Xiao Jin’s attention was on her.
She was truly jealous of Xiao Jin looking at others and smiling at others.
She realized that she had become so sick.
Neither angry nor irritated, she said, “Say whatever you want, Xiao Jin. I am your Sister, so naturally I have to look after you.”
Jiang Jinyi immediately retorted, “I have a girlfriend now. I don’t need you to look after me. You don’t have that right.”
As expected, Jiang Youwan’s gaze changed. “Girlfriend?”
“Yes, I have a girlfriend!” Jiang Jinyi glanced at Wen Ye beside her and gave her a look. She brushed past Jiang Youwan and took Wen Ye’s hand. “I’ve liked her since I was little. You know that. Now she’s my girlfriend. If I drink with her, what can you do about it?”
Wen Ye only froze for a moment before cooperatively smiling at Jiang Youwan.
Jiang Youwan’s gaze fell on their joined hands. Her pupils were dark, her brows tightly knitted. The pressure around them instantly dropped until it was hard to breathe.
After a long while, she parted her lips and smiled. “You got together today? Does your girlfriend know you kissed Sister a few nights ago?”
Without waiting for Jiang Jinyi to answer, she spoke in a tone that allowed no refusal. “Without Sister’s permission, you are not allowed to date.”
Jiang Jinyi hated hearing such controlling words the most. She snatched the glass of wine from Jiang Youwan’s hand, tipped her head back, and drained it in one gulp, unrestrained and arrogant. “I’ll date whoever I want, and I’ll drink if I want. I don’t need you to control me.”
Jiang Youwan looked at her in silence, dark tides surging inside.
Wen Ye raised a brow.
What a subtle atmosphere.
Jiang Jinyi turned to Wen Ye and said softly, ambiguously, “Darling, wait here for me for a moment.”
After saying that, she left Jiang Youwan with a disgusted roll of her eyes and turned toward the restroom.
The two of them were left standing where they were. Jiang Youwan watched Jiang Jinyi leave.
“President Jiang, nice to meet you.” Wen Ye examined the woman before her and greeted her politely.
Jiang Youwan paused for a long while. “Nice to meet you, Miss Wen.”
Her tone was gentle and modest, yet cold without the slightest warmth.
“Sorry, Miss Wen. My younger sister is still young and still doesn’t understand what dating means. She will break up with you. I hope you can understand.”
Wen Ye pressed her lips together and said nothing.
Jiang Youwan finally gave her a warning look, then turned and left.
—
“Cough, cough… cough…”
Jiang Jinyi braced herself against the sink. The glass of wine just now had been too strong for her, and she had downed it in one gulp. In front of Jiang Youwan, she had endured it without reacting, but in reality, her stomach was churning, and she badly wanted to throw up.
At that moment, footsteps came from outside the restroom.
Jiang Jinyi turned her head and looked over. Jiang Youwan opened the door, lifted her eyes toward her, and walked in her direction.
She was wearing a qipao, every step graceful and swaying. Her expression was soft, but her pair of long, narrow, seductive eyes were now filled with worry.
A trace of darkness flashed through Jiang Jinyi’s eyes. She straightened up in a somewhat sorry state and said coldly, “What are you doing here? Where’s my girlfriend? Are you here to laugh at me?”
Jiang Youwan ignored her cold words and said gently, “Xiao Jin shouldn’t force herself.”
Then Jiang Youwan said, “Xiao Jin also shouldn’t date so impulsively. How many days have you known Wen Ye?”
“Don’t tell me you don’t know. I’ve treated Wen Ye as my idol since I was little. I like her. Also, is it really your place to judge what I should do?”
Jiang Jinyi deliberately used words to hurt her.
Jiang Youwan seemed already numb to her cold words. She held a sheet of stomach medicine in her hand and passed it to her, saying gently, “I am your Sister, so of course I have to look after you. This is stomach medicine. Take one, okay?”
Jiang Jinyi glanced at the medicine in her hand and completely refused her kindness. “Stop calling yourself my Sister!”
Jiang Youwan looked innocent. “Xiao Jin was still calling me Sister a few days ago.”
Jiang Jinyi sneered and slowly walked closer to her, saying as she moved, “If I feel like calling you Sister, then I’ll call you that. If I don’t feel like it, then you’re nothing.”
Jiang Youwan’s gaze dimmed slightly, but she did not avoid Jiang Jinyi’s eyes.
In truth, I don’t want to be your Sister at all.
She said this in her heart.
“What are you pretending for? You aren’t even a member of the Jiang family, yet you go around saying I’m your younger sister. Are you worthy? Have you used the name ‘Jiang Youwan’ for so long that you really think your surname is Jiang?”
At this moment, Jiang Jinyi was less than half a meter away from her, yet she was still approaching. Even their breaths tangled together in confrontation. The faint scent of alcohol mixed with the hyacinth fragrance, and Jiang Youwan discovered that she could actually dislike alcohol a little less.
Jiang Jinyi mocked her recklessly. “In front of everyone, you pretend to be a good Sister, but in private, you go into heat for your own younger sister. You harbor such filthy thoughts toward your own younger sister. Don’t you think you’re cheap?”
“And you still want to control who I date? What right do you have to say my girlfriend isn’t good? No matter how bad she is, she’s still better than you. Anyone randomly pulled from the street would be better than you!”
Each word provoked Jiang Youwan.
Jiang Youwan knew Xiao Jin had already discovered the truth that she liked her. Her expression remained calm, with no flaws to be found.
Suddenly, Jiang Jinyi abruptly shoved her.
Jiang Youwan was roughly pushed against the cold tiled wall and let out a muffled groan of pain.
In the next second, the hand that was not holding the medicine was lifted high by Jiang Jinyi and pinned above her head. Her entire body was trapped by Jiang Jinyi, her slender figure enveloped.
There was no distance between their bodies. They were pressed tightly together. Jiang Youwan’s body was controlled by Jiang Jinyi, almost as if she were about to be forcefully kissed. Their breaths collided and blended, intimate without any gap.
Jiang Youwan longed for this kind of intimacy the most, yet at this moment, she wanted to flee, because she knew what Jiang Jinyi wanted to do.
“You’re not allowed to move!” She narrowed her eyes and warned Jiang Jinyi while struggling, using such a fierce tone for the first time since their reunion.
Of course Jiang Jinyi would not listen. She quickly removed the white jade Buddhist beads from Jiang Youwan’s wrist, then released her and stepped back. Holding them in her hand, she examined them and smiled wickedly at her. “You still kept this. Just how much do you like me? Or was it to disgust me?”
Jiang Youwan’s gaze darkened slightly, her voice hoarse. “Once you gave it to me, it became mine. Whether I wear it or not is my freedom.”
It was true that Jiang Jinyi had given it to her.
Back then, when Jiang Youwan had surgery, there was a fifty percent chance of failure. There happened to be a temple near the hospital, and Jiang Jinyi had gone there to pray for this string of beads for her.
Jiang Jinyi held the white jade beads and examined them. Her tone slowed. “From childhood until now, this young lady has never begged anyone for anything. The only thing I ever begged for was when I went to that temple to pray for this string of Buddhist beads for you.”
Hearing this, Jiang Youwan’s heart trembled.
In the next second, Jiang Jinyi said coldly, “That is the thing I regret most in my entire life.”
The stirring in Jiang Youwan’s heart was like being drenched by a basin of cold water. Her black pupils became even darker.
Jiang Jinyi’s eyes, filled with hatred, looked at her deeply as she said word by word, “You truly disgust me, Jiang Youwan. Do you know how much you disgust me? Your appearance made everything in my life go wrong! You killed my mom, all so you could occupy the Jiang family!”
“Your appearance is the greatest misfortune of my entire life. And you actually like me?”
“You were so easily lured into heat by my pheromones, turning into a cheap woman with nothing but desire in your eyes. Isn’t that laughable? A murderer actually fell in love with the daughter of her murder victim?”
Jiang Youwan’s brows knitted tightly. Her expression gradually grew cold, but Jiang Jinyi continued, completely ignoring Jiang Youwan’s emotions, fanning the flames. “You liking me is what disgusts me the most. Do you know that? Your love is truly disgusting.”
As soon as those words fell, Jiang Jinyi pulled hard.
The string of white jade Buddhist beads in her hand snapped. With a clattering sound, all the beads fell onto the hard tiled floor, scattering everywhere.
Broken.
Torn apart by her own hands.
The sound of beads striking the ground rang beside Jiang Youwan’s ears, wantonly eating away at her rationality bit by bit. Her heart throbbed painfully, so painfully it was suffocating. She frowned, her jaw tense, her eyes fixed on the scattered beads on the floor. Her gaze was terrifyingly deep. Her hands clenched tightly as she did everything she could to suppress her emotions.
“Jiang Youwan, I hate you.”
“I will never like you.”
Hate.
Disgust.
Her love disgusted her.
The weather in April was not cold, yet the atmosphere at this moment seemed so cold it had frozen solid.
Along with her heart, and along with the passion she had kept hidden from the world all these years, everything froze.
Xiao Jin had never liked her since the day she entered the Jiang family. She had indeed disrupted Xiao Jin’s life and disrupted her path.
She had despicably fallen for her, eliminated the suitors around her, and delusionally imagined that one day she could have her.
Xiao Jin rarely gave her a good expression. Xiao Jin hated her. She had even left the home where she had lived for eighteen years just to stay far away from her.
Jiang Youwan had thought she had grown used to her cold words. But now, looking at the hatred in Jiang Jinyi’s eyes and listening to the most hurtful words from her mouth, she was still stabbed with pain, as if cut by a knife.
And yet, she still could not bear to look away.
She could not bear to.
Jiang Youwan pressed her lips together slightly and looked at her in silence. Hidden beneath that deep, dim darkness was her infinitely lingering, greedy gaze.
Sickly, she wanted Jiang Jinyi’s gaze to remain on her for a little longer, even if it was all hatred.
If it was disgusting, then let it be disgusting. If it was hatred, then let it be hatred. Had it not been like this before too? She had already been hated by her for four years. There was no harm in being hated a little more. At least it would be unforgettable.
At least when Jiang Jinyi hated her, Jiang Youwan had a place in her heart.
Hate her a little more. If Jiang Jinyi only thought about taking revenge on her, then her gaze would not linger on anyone else.
The corner of Jiang Youwan’s lips curved into a faint smile, her gaze dark and unreadable. She parted her lips and said softly, “So what?”
“As you said, Xiao Jin, I was the one who turned Jiang Ningshu into a criminal. I was the one who occupied the Jiang Corporation. So what?” Jiang Youwan spoke word by word, her tone becoming harsher the further she went.
“What can you do, Xiao Jin? Can you really go against me? I have plenty of methods. As for you, you can only watch helplessly as I swallow the Jiang Corporation and enjoy everything that should have belonged to you.”
