After the A Disguise Was Exposed, I Became Pregnant with the Villain’s Child - Chapter 2
The infirmary.
Yan Qing sat on the white hospital bed, holding a strip of white pills in his hand. Printed on it were the words:
【Special Suppressant Pills for Omega Heat Cycles】
He was now almost completely certain that he had truly transmigrated into the novel and become the Yan Qing from the book.
But something had clearly gone wrong.
He was still an Omega.
One second in heaven, the next in hell.
Dad’s Alpha journey was way too short-lived.
Hugging the white pillow, Yan Qing cried so miserably he looked like a two-hundred-pound dog.
Just as he was drowning in grief, footsteps sounded outside the door. He hurriedly wiped away his tears.
Xu Kai walked in, drenched in sweat.
“It’s Sports Day today. A bunch of Omegas fainted, so all the doctors are busy on the field.”
As an Omega who had nearly fainted himself, Yan Qing sniffed and said, “It’s fine. I’m already okay now. But I’m not joining the afternoon events. You and Wei Yu can take my place. I need to rest.”
Dad was only a weak Omega now.
He had merely finished running 200 meters and his pheromones had almost leaked out. If he kept pushing himself, publicly going into heat would be disastrous.
Right now, nobody knew he was a fake Alpha. As long as he stayed careful enough, he could continue living as an Alpha.
But if he accidentally leaked his pheromones…
Then the only words to describe his future would be utterly tragic.
Having already learned this lesson once before, Yan Qing absolutely did not dare let his identity as a rare top-quality Omega be exposed again.
The moment he remembered those endless blind dates from the past, his hand trembled.
Dad is an Alpha.
Dad is an Alpha.
Dad is an Alpha.
No one can change this fact.
Yan Qing frantically brainwashed himself, determined to protect his little disguise and continue living in this world as a fake Alpha.
When Xu Kai had brought him to the infirmary earlier, Yan Qing had looked close to collapsing, so Xu Kai didn’t dare force him. He walked over and poured him a cup of hot water.
“Alright. I’ll go tell the homeroom teacher. Just rest here properly.”
“No, I’m going home to rest,” Yan Qing said.
Staying here was dangerous too.
What if he fell asleep and the school nurse suddenly came back, saw someone lying on the bed, assumed he was a patient, and kindly decided to examine him?
Wouldn’t his disguise be in serious danger then?
No. Absolutely not.
When it came to exposing his identity, he didn’t dare take even the tiniest risk.
Dad absolutely refused to go on blind dates ever again in this life.
Not even once.
Even death wouldn’t change that.
“Okay. I’ll ask Wei Yu to help us request leave. I’ll take you home now,” Xu Kai said.
“Thanks,” Yan Qing replied.
“The sky’s about to rain red. You actually know how to thank people?” Xu Kai slapped him hard on the shoulder again and grinned. “Let’s go.”
That slap hurt so much Yan Qing nearly winced.
Omegas being delicate, thin-skinned, and afraid of pain wasn’t an exaggeration at all.
On the way home—
Xu Kai suddenly leaned close with a gossip-filled expression.
“Brother Yan, I heard our class is getting a transfer student tomorrow. Apparently his background is ridiculously impressive.”
“In this school, whose background isn’t impressive?” Yan Qing adapted surprisingly quickly.
Once he accepted the fact that he had transmigrated into a novel, he settled into it fast.
Being able to live another life as an Alpha—even a fake one—already felt like the greatest gift heaven could give him.
Xu Kai grinned.
“That’s true, but this guy’s different.”
The students at Qingqiang High School were either rich, powerful, or both.
Everyone here had been born with golden spoons in their mouths, so conflicts and fights happened constantly.
“What’s so different? Is this guy some golden deity descending to earth or something?” Yan Qing, the school’s academically worst delinquent, had always been terrible at studying but unmatched in fighting. Growing up, he had often been beaten by his older brother, yet after entering university, he was entrusted with protecting Bai Yang precisely because he fought so well.
Xu Kai laughed shamelessly.
“This guy’s supposedly more impressive than everyone in the school put together. But I asked around all night and nobody knows where he came from.”
“Any rumor without proof is just nonsense,” Yan Qing shrugged indifferently.
He wasn’t interested in the transfer student at all.
Right now, he was more interested in meeting the guy who would eventually become his mortal enemy—and the same guy he would push into the sea at the end of the novel.
The next day.
Because the medicine made him feel unwell, Yan Qing took the morning off and only returned to school in the afternoon.
The moment he entered the classroom, he noticed a brand-new desk and chair beside his seat. Clean and neatly placed right next to his own.
He frowned and grabbed Xu Kai’s arm.
“Who put a desk next to mine?”
He clearly remembered that, in the novel, he sat alone in the corner and monopolized that spot by himself.
Xu Kai glanced over.
“That’s the transfer student’s seat. Yours was the only empty spot left in class. The homeroom teacher said you two will sit together until the next seating rearrangement.”
Yan Qing, who loved sitting alone, immediately became irritated.
His entire day had already been unlucky enough. Earlier, on his way to school, he had even been chased down the street by a stray cat in heat.
Carrying a murderous aura on his face, Yan Qing returned to his seat. After glancing at the neighboring desk, he rubbed his temples and simply lay down to sleep.
Out of sight, out of mind.
As Yan Qing rested his head on the desk, tapping his little finger impatiently against the surface, the chair beside him was suddenly pulled out.
A powerful sense of pressure swept over him, making him instinctively uncomfortable.
Tilting his head sideways, he glanced at his new deskmate.
Pretty handsome.
And probably taller than him too.
But that cold “keep strangers away” attitude was a little annoying.
How could this guy somehow look even more arrogant than him, the school tyrant?
Feeling the overwhelming protagonist aura radiating from his new deskmate, Yan Qing silently wondered who this person was.
Playing with Fire had never mentioned him getting a new deskmate, nor had it brought up any transfer student at all.
Which made Yan Qing extremely suspicious of this guy’s identity.
After the new deskmate sat down, Yan Qing bit the end of his pen and secretly compared their arms.
This guy was taller and broader than him. Even his arm looked a full size thicker, and his skin tone was slightly darker too.
Unable to suppress his curiosity, Yan Qing’s gaze slowly traveled upward and stopped at the neatly buttoned collar around the guy’s neck.
Tsk.
Covered up so tightly.
He couldn’t tell what his body looked like underneath.
Would the new deskmate be even more muscular than him?
From appearance alone, it was hard to judge. But after stripping off the outer shell… would he turn out to be the type who looked slim in clothes but muscular underneath?
Just from outward appearances alone…
If this guy was an Alpha, Yan Qing felt he would die of jealousy.
Depressed, Yan Qing squeezed the muscles on his own arm.
He remembered it had been the same in his previous life. After his differentiation results came out, his muscles had gradually softened. A few years later, his muscle definition became fainter and fainter until he turned into a soft, delicate Omega.
Once upon a time, he had also been a strong, healthy young man.
Ever since childhood, he had been sturdier than kids his age. Everyone assumed he would become an Alpha.
But the delayed differentiation results had shocked everyone.
He had the physique of an Alpha—
Yet differentiated into an Omega.
Because of Omega pheromones, no matter how desperately he trained, he could never return to his peak physical condition.
Thinking about all this made Yan Qing’s face alternate between green and pale.
His fists itched with anger.
He wanted to hit someone.
He glanced sideways at his new deskmate again.
The more he looked, the more jealous he became.
Why did it have to be this guy?
He looked exactly like the person Yan Qing had always dreamed of becoming.
Fuck.
I’m so jealous I could die.
Yan Qing swallowed down his bitterness.
“Yan Qing, where are your textbooks?”
The homeroom teacher walked over holding a triangular ruler and slammed it loudly against his desk.
Yan Qing casually reached into his desk drawer, pulled out a random book, flipped it open, and waved it at her.
“Right here.”
The teacher took one look at the book in his hand, and her face changed colors so rapidly it looked like stage-opera face-changing.
She held it in for a full minute before roaring loud enough to shake the classroom:
“Yan Qing! Come wait for me in the office after class!”
Yan Qing looked baffled.
“Why?”
The teacher glared at him with a dark expression.
“And you still dare ask why? Look at what kind of book you’re holding! You may not feel ashamed, but I’m embarrassed for you. Bring your parent to school after classes tonight.”
“Hahahahaha—”
The entire class burst into laughter.
Confused, Yan Qing frowned and turned the book around for a look.
The cover was filled with all kinds of wildly drawn explicit 18+ illustrations, complete with panels and enlarged detail shots…
Fuck.
Dad’s dignity is gone.
