Control (Futa) - Chapter 25
25. Extras 7: High School Parallel Line – End
Since they got together, the Ji family’s love for Tang Mingling was even greater than that of the Tang family.
They often called her to come over to their house to play.
They never forgot to send a copy of whatever they bought to the Tang house for her.
The generous New Year’s red envelopes directly added a digit to Tang Mingling’s savings.
Even Ji Jue was very gentle to her, better than her own brother, Tang Mingyao.
This made the Tang family think they had picked up the Ji family’s third daughter who was left outside. Sometimes when Tang Mingling sweetly called Ji Jue “Sister” on the phone, Tang Mingyao became very unhappy and spoiled his sister even more.
Also because the Ji family was so good to Tang Mingling, Tang Shaohuai let go of his last trace of doubt and acknowledged their engagement.
They finally went to university in the capital together. Ji Xun and Tang Mingling were already engaged. The two families simply prepared a house for them to live in while studying.
Tang Mingling and Ji Xun attended different schools.
Ji Xun’s school was an hour away from the art school she attended.
Although classes were more flexible in university, Ji Xun majored in two subjects: in addition to business administration, she also took finance classes.
She had a lot of projects to do and also had to participate in company affairs. She was busier than in high school.
Tang Mingling was relatively more leisurely. After her school classes, she went home to the studio reserved for her to practice.
She spent most of her time at home and could see Ji Xun whenever she came back.
She didn’t entirely focus on art. In class, she met the daughter of a museum curator. By chance, she took up a course in cultural relics management. She often went to exhibitions with Ji Xun on dates.
After the midterm exam, the school invited a senior who had already achieved some success in the art field to come back to give a lecture.
Tang Mingling thought Ji Xun wouldn’t be home too early today, so she simply went to listen to the other person’s introduction to the current art trends with her classmates.
After the lecture, her classmate had something urgent and had to leave first.
After saying goodbye to her, Tang Mingling hadn’t received a message from Ji Xun, so she simply detoured to the snack street behind the back gate to buy some snacks.
“Junior!”
Tang Mingling looked back and saw it was the senior who gave the lecture just now.
The senior was a campus celebrity when he was in university, and Tang Mingling knew that too. Because he was refined and clean, with proper facial features, and spoke softly, he was very popular with both male and female students in the department with many literary youths.
If she hadn’t met Ji Xun before, Tang Mingling would have thought this senior was her ideal type.
“Junior.” The senior stood in front of her gently. “The professor just mentioned you to me and said you have a lot of spiritual talent in painting and wants us to interact more and learn from each other.”
Tang Mingling thought in her heart while smiling politely: As expected of the man who charmed the department. “The professor exaggerated too much… The technique in painting is not fine enough and needs more practice.”
The senior wanted to say something else. A beautiful woman in a suit with a cold expression appeared in front of him and walked towards them.
Although the other person was cold, she was beautiful in a unique way.
He saw the woman staring at him with sharp eyes and a dark expression, like she was looking at prey.
Her lips parted slightly, and she said: “Mingling.”
Tang Mingling heard the familiar voice and immediately turned around.
Seeing who it was, she quickly walked over and hooked her arm into hers.
“Ji Xun, why are you here?”
She turned back to politely exchange greetings and say goodbye to the senior, then pulled the person and left without looking back.
“Who was that just now?” Ji Xun asked casually. They had agreed to watch a movie tonight.
If they went home to change clothes, they wouldn’t make it, so she came directly from the company, just happened to be wearing Tang Mingling’s favorite suit.
“The senior who was invited to give a lecture today. The flower of the department, the hunk of the art department,” Tang Mingling casually said a string of titles, and suddenly wanted to tease her: “Speaking of it… my ideal type used to be like him.”
Ji Xun suddenly tightened her grip on Tang Mingling’s hand.
Tang Mingling smiled and let her exert force without resisting. “But now I only love Ji Xun, Sister Ji.”
“Which Sister Ji?” There were two Sister Jis in her mouth. The other one was her own sister.
“Pfft, don’t be jealous of Sister Ji Jue too, okay? She’s about to get married.”
“…If you weren’t with me, I think you would want to marry her.” When Ji Jue was mentioned, Ji Xun felt sad. Although she knew it was because of her that her sister loved the one she loved, she loved her too much, even better than her own sister.
Tang Mingling casually said where there was an art exhibition abroad, and she immediately booked flights, hotels, and arranged a short trip.
Her parents were the same. They heard what Tang Mingling liked, and the next day, they would buy it and send it to the Tang house. Several times when she met Uncle Tang, she joked that they must have swapped identities.
Tang Mingling’s birthday gift this year was a limited edition sports car, more expensive than the car bought for her. Although Ji Xun was the one who drove it.
“No way. I only want to marry you.” Tang Mingling intertwined her fingers with hers. “Let’s get married when you graduate from studying abroad.”
Bringing up studying abroad, Ji Xun was silent for a moment, then said: “Actually, we don’t have to study abroad.”
“I’ll go with you. We don’t have to be separated. It’s not easy for you to get an opportunity for guaranteed admission. You must study abroad.”
Tang Mingling understood Ji Xun too well. The other person looked cold, but was actually extremely sensitive and loved to cry.
To outsiders, it looked like she was clinging to Ji Xun, but during sex, the other person often cried and asked her to hug her and look at her.
Although the thing was still moving wildly inside her body, she cried as if she had suffered a great grievance.
But knowing her psychological trauma from childhood, Tang Mingling felt pity and love for Ji Xun.
She had to hold the person and coax her not to cry even when she was about to climax.
Her thoughts wandered far away. Tang Mingling took a deep breath. “Anyway, you must study abroad. I’ve also applied to schools abroad.”
With her university professor’s recommendation letter and the competition entries she had accumulated over the years, it wasn’t too difficult to get an admission offer.
Ji Xun wanted to cry again. She thought she was very lucky in this life to meet Tang Mingling, who was willing to accept her everything, otherwise she would go crazy one day.
The day after receiving her master’s degree abroad, the impatient two ran to get married at the notary public. When their families found out, they were scolded, mainly Ji Xun bore the brunt of it.
Then the Ji family and the Tang family quickly discussed their wedding, waiting for the two to come home to hold it.
Unexpectedly, before the two could come home, they received news that Tang Mingling was in labor. The Tang family was furious, and the Ji family was shocked. They flew abroad together to accompany the birth.
Ji Xun sat outside the delivery room for 18 hours, waiting with a haggard face. She originally wanted to go in, but Tang Mingling said it was too ugly and didn’t let her see, afraid that she would be so ugly that she wouldn’t love her.
Ji Xun thought that was impossible, but still listened to her and worried outside. Occasionally, painful screams came from behind the heavy door, and she was so distressed that she decided to get sterilized.
When the family arrived, Tang Mingling was already resting in the ward. The baby was taken to the incubator. Ji Xun went to see her once and then came back to stay with Tang Mingling.
“Where’s the baby?”
“In the incubator. The three from the left by the window. You can go see them,” Ji Xun said coldly. Her eyes never left Tang Mingling, whose face was pale on the bed. She used a towel to wipe her sweat and fed her water. She didn’t care much about the baby.
But her indifference changed again after Tang Mingling woke up.
“Where’s the baby?” Tang Mingling leaned on the headboard, asking her weakly.
“Sleeping. They will be brought over to drink milk later,” Ji Xun spoke to her softly.
Tang Mingyao sat on the sofa and saw that her concern for his sister far exceeded that for the baby, and hummed with satisfaction.
When everyone came back after seeing the baby, Tang Mingling listened to everyone’s concerns in turn. After answering them one by one, she leaned on Ji Xun’s shoulder and said with a smile: “The baby will take your surname.”
Ji Xun was stunned. “The baby was born by you with great difficulty. They should take your surname.”
“Take your surname. Your family has a throne to inherit. I don’t,” As soon as Tang Mingling finished speaking, Tang Mingyao stood up and objected, saying he could also give the throne to his niece to inherit.
“Who says you are inheriting the Tang family? Can’t I hand it over directly to my granddaughter?” Tang Shaohuai was furious.
The Tang family didn’t know about Ji Xun’s physical difference and only thought the baby was born through IVF.
But the Ji family knew the granddaughter was their child. They stood aside, their eyes red. In fact, they didn’t care whose surname the child took. But seeing their daughter finally reconcile with herself, their years of guilt finally found an outlet.
“Mingling, Sister bought you a villa as a wedding gift. I’ll give you the key when you come home. It has a small garden and a greenhouse. After I have people tidy it up, you can paint inside,” Ji Jue stood by the bed and patted her head, just like she would to her sister.
“As for the gift for having a baby… it’s too hasty. I’ll give you an additional gift later.”
“Thank you for being so good to Ji Xun.”
“She deserves it,” Tang Mingling held Ji Xun’s hand and looked at her.
Just like their vow on the day they got married at the notary public, she would always look at her and wouldn’t leave Ji Xun alone.
