Crossing The Line (GL, Futa & ABO) - Chapter 3
For the past week, Chu Yi had been miserable and delighted in equal measure.
She was delighted because her patron was young, beautiful, and charming—nothing like the worst person she had imagined.
But the misery was real, too. Her Alpha instincts were relentless, and every pheromone soothing session brought her close to losing control. She still couldn’t bring herself to touch her Alpha cock, so afterward, she went to the villa’s gym and exercised furiously to burn off her excess energy and restless pheromones.
Worse, that wicked woman had clearly seen how flustered she was. Last night, she had deliberately pressed her toe against Chu Yi’s erect cock. A sharp jolt of pleasure shot up Chu Yi’s spine. Her knees gave way, and she dropped to the floor with a muffled moan as a dark wet patch spread across the crotch of her pants.
“Get out.”
The woman’s merciless, imperious words had struck her like thunder. Chu Yi had nearly drowned in shame, but she gritted her teeth and swallowed the whimper rising in her throat.
She really was… too wicked!
With her pheromones stable again, Xie Zhijin woke feeling refreshed for the first time in ages. Instead of leaving early as she had on previous days, she sat leisurely at the dining table, reading financial news over breakfast.
Her gaze drifted to the Alpha across from her. Chu Yi was chewing her food with such force that she looked as though she were grinding her teeth.
Xie Zhijin could see exactly what was on her mind.
What she had done last night had indeed gone too far. The instant her toe touched Chu Yi, the startling heat and trembling beneath it had made her regret it. But in their silent contest, showing the slightest uncertainty first would mean losing control. She had to maintain her composure and act as though nothing had happened.
She certainly couldn’t lose her nerve now. Calm was the best way to handle it.
Xie Zhijin took a sip of tea, closed her tablet, and said, “The trial period is over. My secretary will bring you a new agreement shortly.”
“…???” Chu Yi froze with a piece of bread between her teeth. She hurriedly swallowed it, her voice rising in alarm. “A new agreement? Did I do something wrong?”
Oh no. Had she made her displeasure too obvious and annoyed her patron? Was it too late to kneel and beg forgiveness? o(TωT)o
Xie Zhijin watched the panic play across Chu Yi’s face. The faintest smile touched her lips. Rather than answer, she gave a meaningful “Mm,” rose gracefully, and left the villa.
A stream of frantic thoughts flooded Chu Yi’s mind: It’s over! She definitely thinks I did a terrible job last night, and I had a bad attitude this morning. She’s going to cancel our agreement! My steady income! My comfortable life! Do I have to go back to work now?! (;′Д′)
The lavish breakfast instantly lost all appeal. Chu Yi set down her chopsticks and drifted back to the living room sofa like a soulless husk. She collapsed onto it to await her final judgment.
The next hour felt like a century. Just as Chu Yi’s thoughts were about to crush her, the villa’s doorbell finally rang.
The housekeeper answered it and led in a capable-looking woman.
“Hello, Miss Chu. I’m President Xie’s chief secretary, Chen Chen. The new agreement has been drafted according to her instructions. Please review it. If everything is in order, sign and place your fingerprint on the last page.” Her tone was calm and businesslike as she took the document from her bag and handed it over.
Chu Yi’s palms were cold and clammy. She wiped them firmly on the hem of her clothes before accepting the document. Taking a deep breath to steady her racing heart, she opened it.
She turned the pages one by one. The word [Termination] never appeared, and her heart gradually settled. But when she reached [Skills Training] and [Assessment], her newly relaxed brow furrowed again. Pointing to a clause, she asked cautiously, “‘Party B must complete the relevant skills training required by Party A and pass the assessments’… Secretary Chen, what exactly does that mean?”
Chen Chen seemed prepared for the question. “It means you’ve officially passed President Xie’s evaluation and will become her regular companion at business and social events. You’ll therefore need formal training in social etiquette. Combat and specialized driving are also required for your safety and to help you respond to emergencies.”
Before Chu Yi could take in that list of requirements, Chen Chen added the most important part. “President Xie will cover all the costs. Your monthly allowance will also increase from 100,000 to 180,000.”
A hundred and eighty thousand!!!
Fireworks went off in Chu Yi’s mind. She would get paid more to take classes? Did opportunities like this really exist?
“Absolutely no problem. It’s an honor to serve President Xie.” Chu Yi picked up a pen, signed her name without hesitation, and pressed her fingerprint onto the page. “I can start whenever she wants. I’ll follow her arrangements.”
“Thank you for your cooperation, Miss Chu.” Secretary Chen gathered the documents. “Here is my contact information. I’ll send you the class times and locations in advance.”
“Okay.”
After exchanging contact details with Secretary Chen, Chu Yi watched her leave, unable to contain her grin.
“Yes! I kept my job!”
At the other end of a hidden camera in the living room, Xie Zhijin watched Chu Yi’s barely contained triumph through the cold screen of her phone.
She didn’t watch for long. Instead, she opened the comparison image Secretary Chen had sent. Moving the cursor between the two signatures, she studied them: one restrained and reserved, the other bold and uninhibited. They could hardly have been more different.
Xie Zhijin narrowed her eyes slightly and leaned back in her leather chair. Her cool voice rang through the empty office.
“Who… exactly are you?”
