After Liang Shi finished speaking, she left the room.

She did not know whether Xu Qingzhu believed her, but for now, this was the only explanation that might ease Xu Qingzhu’s fear.

An Alpha who had not bonded with an Omega felt as though her entire body were being scorched by fire, as if countless needles were stabbing into the most vulnerable parts of her. Beads of sweat the size of beans rolled down Liang Shi’s forehead and slid along the side of her face.

Afraid that she would lose control and hurt Xu Qingzhu, Liang Shi simply went downstairs.

After Liang Shi finished speaking, her vision went black, and she lost consciousness.

She suddenly fainted and collapsed to the ground.
