Shu Qian finally couldn’t stand it and drove Qi Qing away, ordering her to go make milk. When Qi Qing came back, she handed the child to her to feed. Shu Qian pulled her nightgown closed and watched Qi Qing’s clumsy but careful movements from the side.

“You…” Wells remembered that his cousin had run away. How did they meet again now?

“I’ll tell you later,” Shu Qian said to Wells. She then turned around to comfort Qi Qing. She could already feel that Qi Qing was becoming displeased.

Qi Qing was a little happier. She nodded to the two strangers. “Excuse us.” She held Shu Qian’s hand, and the group went upstairs grandly.

Jane, of course, didn’t miss the baby in Qi Qing’s arms. Being ignored, as she was usually the center of attention, made her feel wronged. She saw that Wells seemed to know the other strange woman and immediately asked him who she was.

Shu Qian chuckled and surrendered, giving her the answer. “My mother’s last name is Charlton. Didn’t Wells go to Fu Zhao’s banquet? He was also looking for my aunt here. He just didn’t expect my mom to have passed away.”

Shu Qian held out her hand. The Alpha pursed her lips and steadied herself. She carefully put the ring on her finger.

The ring on her left hand and the one that had never been taken off finally became a pair again, symbolizing their identities.

Qi Qing finally felt at ease.
