My classmate seems to want to have s*x with me - Chapter 63
The two hurriedly tidied themselves up and started on their way home. Their busy schoolwork gradually filled their time, and hurried sexual encounters like this became more and more frequent afterward. The summer vacation, which offered a sliver of breathing room, also ended quickly. After school started, their alone time became even less than during the summer, as they were buried in their studies from morning till night.
Qiu Yanzhen’s spare time was almost entirely occupied by tutoring, while Ding Chen stayed at school to study on the nights she didn’t have tutoring. After the start of the school year, besides the review classes, there were also progress classes, so even their precious weekends were half taken up.
Time seemed to never be enough, and the books to read seemed endless.
Ding Chen’s grades improved quite a bit. Her math went from a pitiful level eight to a slightly less pitiful level ten, and her overall score increased by five levels compared to the last time. However, the gap between her grades and Qiu Yanzhen’s was still quite large. Qiu Yanzhen’s goal was top-ranked schools, while her own grades hovered in the middle.
Fragmented moments were used for doing practice problems, memorizing vocabulary, or catching up on sleep. Every opportunity for intimacy was extremely precious, and even though they seized every second, a feeling of dissatisfaction still lingered in Ding Chen’s heart.
Seeing that Qiu Yanzhen’s sexual desire value had been consistently low lately, Ding Chen once suspected that this inexplicable thing that had popped up was broken. But looking at the changes in the numbers of her classmates, it didn’t seem broken. It seemed that Qiu Yanzhen was just focused and single-mindedly devoted to her studies.
On the other hand, she herself wanted to cling to Qiu Yanzhen whenever she saw her. After clinging to her, she wanted to hug her tightly, then she wanted to be gently coaxed with Qiu Yanzhen stroking her head, and then she wanted to kiss her, wanted to see her lose control because of her.
No matter how focused she was on her studies, as long as there was a moment of free time, Ding Chen couldn’t help but think of Qiu Yanzhen, and the desires that hadn’t been relieved would surge like a tidal wave.
So, was it only her who felt this way?
One Sunday afternoon, while the two were napping on Qiu Yanzhen’s bed, Ding Chen finally couldn’t resist pushing Qiu Yanzhen down. However, her hand reaching under the clothes was held back. A trace of embarrassment flashed across Qiu Yanzhen’s face, but she quickly released Ding Chen’s hand.
Ding Chen didn’t miss that fleeting expression on Qiu Yanzhen’s face. She clenched her knuckles and collapsed onto the bed like a deflated balloon, snuggling into Qiu Yanzhen’s arms.
“What’s wrong?” Qiu Yanzhen’s gentle voice, with a barely perceptible hint of tension, came from above her head.
“Hmm…” Ding Chen shifted in Qiu Yanzhen’s embrace, forcefully suppressing her thoughts. “Nothing.”
Qiu Yanzhen lifted Ding Chen’s face and kissed it a few times, then leaned in to kiss Ding Chen’s lips. As their breathing gradually became ragged, Ding Chen suddenly felt the hem of her shirt being lifted.
She grabbed the hand that wanted to reach in and met Qiu Yanzhen’s eyes.
“Let’s do it?” Qiu Yanzhen said.
Ding Chen pursed her lips and pulled Qiu Yanzhen’s hand away. She could see Qiu Yanzhen’s current “sexual desire value” – it was there, but not much.
She looked away. “We have class later, let’s sleep.”
She didn’t want Qiu Yanzhen to do it like this, as if it was to satisfy her and not because she wanted to.
Qiu Yanzhen could sense that Ding Chen was being a bit difficult. She tentatively moved the hand that was being held, but Ding Chen held it firmly.
Frankly speaking, Ding Chen’s answer did bring a quiet sigh of relief to Qiu Yanzhen, because she really needed this short nap to support her energy for the rest of the day. But she also wanted to satisfy Ding Chen, wanted to draw more warmth from her.
The heavy workload left Qiu Yanzhen in a constant state of preparedness. Her parents subtly held expectations for her, and she also demanded much of herself. Her grades in the recent mock exam hadn’t improved, which made her somewhat anxious.
The strength of her embrace around Ding Chen tightened a little. Qiu Yanzhen greedily inhaled Ding Chen’s scent. Hugging Ding Chen always helped her relax. She liked the days when they studied together the most, because she could lean on Ding Chen’s shoulder and sleep on the bus ride home, which made her feel secure, as if she could do anything.
After a moment of silence, Qiu Yanzhen said again, “Let’s do it.”
Ding Chen looked up from Qiu Yanzhen’s embrace, quietly staring into Qiu Yanzhen’s eyes. She saw Qiu Yanzhen’s efforts and exhaustion. She silently refused, knowing that now was the time to endure.
The atmosphere between the two was subtle, seemingly on the verge of an argument, yet not quite there. Ding Chen still held Qiu Yanzhen’s hand tightly until the other gently pulled her hand back.
Until they fell asleep, Ding Chen and Qiu Yanzhen didn’t say another word. After waking up, they continued studying according to their schedule, and when the time came, they went to tutoring class together, as if the small awkwardness at noon had never happened.
An unexpected incident occurred on the bus. After the two sat down, Qiu Yanzhen, as usual, went to lean on Ding Chen’s shoulder. The lingering awkwardness in Ding Chen’s subconscious made her reflexively flinch.
Seeing the surprised look on Qiu Yanzhen’s face, Ding Chen was also stunned. The two stared at each other with wide eyes in their seats. Ding Chen was already sweating profusely. She really hadn’t intended to be petty or sulky, but her body had acted faster than her brain. Now, she could only try to salvage the situation.
Time seemed to pass both quickly and slowly. Ding Chen shifted uncomfortably in her seat. Qiu Yanzhen had already turned to face forward, and from Ding Chen’s perspective, she couldn’t see her expression. Ding Chen could only secretly observe her through the reflection in the bus window.
Perhaps to change her mood, Qiu Yanzhen turned her head to look out the window. The sneaky Ding Chen didn’t have time to retract her gaze, and their eyes unexpectedly met in the window. Qiu Yanzhen expressionlessly looked away and back to the front. Ding Chen lowered her head, staring at her sweaty hands while stealing glances at the person next to her.
After several deep breaths, she finally raised her head and looked at the back of the seat in front of her, quietly moving her body to the side and deliberately straightening her back. But whether her movements were too small or the other person was pretending not to notice, the person next to her didn’t react to her actions.
Ding Chen took a few more breaths and moved closer to the side more obviously. Her head, which had been raised, gradually lowered again as time passed. She anxiously twisted her fingers and finally mustered the courage to turn sideways and tug on Qiu Yanzhen’s sleeve.
With such an obvious action, Qiu Yanzhen couldn’t pretend not to notice anymore. She turned her head to look at Ding Chen’s lowered head. The sounds of other people talking on the bus, the engine noise, and the outside clamor all faded into the background. Ding Chen raised her head, but was afraid to see Qiu Yanzhen’s expression. She stared at Qiu Yanzhen’s clean and neat collar and said softly, “I’m sorry.”
One second, two seconds, three seconds…
Ding Chen still didn’t receive a reply. She slowly moved her gaze upward. Qiu Yanzhen was still looking at her, but she couldn’t read her expression. She only intuitively felt that the other person probably didn’t take this matter too seriously.
So, Ding Chen boldly tugged on Qiu Yanzhen’s sleeve again. “Don’t be angry.”
Qiu Yanzhen moved. She had intended to pull Ding Chen’s hand away, but unexpectedly, Ding Chen noticed her intention and held on even tighter.
“Let go first.”
“No.”
Ding Chen tightly pursed her lips, stubbornly clutching her sleeve. The eyes behind her glasses faintly glistened with tears. Seeing this, Qiu Yanzhen’s tone softened, and she soothingly stroked the hand holding her sleeve. “I’m not angry, so can you let go?”
Easily coaxed, Ding Chen obediently released her hand when she saw Qiu Yanzhen soften. Qiu Yanzhen immediately hugged her arm and intertwined her fingers with Ding Chen’s.
The familiar weight returned to her shoulder. Ding Chen realized the crisis had passed and mumbled, “You were clearly angry.”
Qiu Yanzhen didn’t reply immediately. She lowered her gaze to their interlocked hands and rubbed the back of Ding Chen’s hand with her fingers.
“Didn’t I also make you, um… disappointed at noon?” Qiu Yanzhen chose her words carefully. “So we’re even.”
Ding Chen wanted to deny it but found that she couldn’t. She tightened her grip on Qiu Yanzhen’s hand, thinking that this wasn’t even at all.
Every touch awakened her desire, making her want to constantly escalate physical contact, like eating small snacks when hungry, which only increased her appetite. But she couldn’t not eat, nor did she want to not eat.
When they were almost at their stop, Qiu Yanzhen sleepily got up from Ding Chen’s shoulder. Their homes weren’t actually at the same stop, but since their time together had drastically decreased, Qiu Yanzhen would occasionally get off at Ding Chen’s stop like this, and then transfer to the MRT to go home.
After getting off the bus, the two walked hand in hand towards the MRT station. Ding Chen hesitated the whole way until they reached the ticket gate before finally speaking. “Next time, you still shouldn’t get off near my house.”
“It’s too much trouble for you.” Ding Chen said, looking at the not-so-obvious but still noticeable dark circles under Qiu Yanzhen’s eyes.
Qiu Yanzhen blinked. Ding Chen’s somewhat conflicted expression inexplicably made her want to laugh, and the fatigue accumulated throughout the day seemed to lighten a bit.
“Then next time, you get off at my house?” Qiu Yanzhen said jokingly.
Ding Chen’s house was in the middle of Qiu Yanzhen’s house and the cram school, so it was actually quite convenient for Qiu Yanzhen to get off at Ding Chen’s stop. But the other way around would mean an extra round trip.
Probably tired, and having just made up, Ding Chen didn’t discern Qiu Yanzhen’s joke. She nodded and said, “That’s also okay.”
Ding Chen’s serious reply stunned Qiu Yanzhen. She hurriedly said, “I was joking. Wouldn’t it be troublesome for you to go to my house?”
“It’s okay with me.”
“Then it’s okay with me too.”
“No, it’s not okay for you.”
“Why isn’t it okay for me!”
The two argued endlessly in front of the ticket gate. Fortunately, the MRT station was almost empty at this time, otherwise, they might have attracted the attention of passersby.
“Because you have more tutoring, you need more rest,” Ding Chen replied.
“Don’t you also study on your own when you don’t have tutoring? You should rest too, right?” Qiu Yanzhen retorted.
“It’s different, because I’ll slack off, but you won’t.”
Qiu Yanzhen opened her mouth, and after a few seconds, a sentence floated out, “I’ll slack off in the future too.”
The two were in a stalemate for a moment. Finally, Ding Chen let go of Qiu Yanzhen’s hand and hugged her. “I just don’t want you to be so tired.”
“Mm,” Qiu Yanzhen’s face was buried in Ding Chen’s shoulder, her voice muffled. “Me too.”
“But I also want to spend more time with you,” Ding Chen hugged Qiu Yanzhen tighter. “What should we do?”
Qiu Yanzhen silently hugged Ding Chen. They both knew there wasn’t a perfect solution. The two quietly embraced until the MRT was about to arrive, and then Ding Chen let go.
“The MRT is coming,” Ding Chen said softly.
Qiu Yanzhen wrapped her arms around Ding Chen’s neck, unwilling to let go. However, it was already late, and no matter what, they had to part here.
“I’ll work hard,” Qiu Yanzhen said, holding Ding Chen’s hand before leaving.
Ding Chen watched Qiu Yanzhen enter the train car before turning to leave the brightly lit MRT station. There was no moon tonight. She walked home slowly by herself. Her parents were away on a business trip, and there was no one else at home.
She felt that life was so difficult.
