OO Romance—The Yuri Of All Yuri! - Chapter 15
Ring, ring—
The phone suddenly rang.
The breath Su Yi had been holding instantly deflated like a punctured balloon. Hiss, hiss, hiss—it all leaked out cleanly.
Wasn’t the person calling absolutely hateful? Of all times, they did not call earlier or later, but chose this exact moment to ruin her business!
If it had rung even one second later!
Just one second!
Maybe she would have switched back.
A difference of one second was the distance of ten thousand miles.
Once courage was pierced through, gathering it again was harder than climbing to heaven. Human warmth seemed to rise faintly in the air. Even though her hands were pressed against the mirror and she had not actually touched Bian Lu, she still had the illusion of being wrapped in that steaming heat. Her fingers could not help curling in fear.
This was already the limit of how close she could get.
She had no way to truly kiss someone while fully conscious.
This was not fear. She was not actually afraid of anything. “Fear” was only the instinct of the soul.
It was like seeing sour grapes. One did not want to salivate, yet instinct still drove the salivary glands to speed up.
There was no way to continue in this state. She pretended nothing had happened and pulled away, walking toward the bedroom.
“Someone calling in the middle of the night must have something urgent. Answer the phone first.”
Bian Lu nodded and followed her steps. “True. Hurry and answer it.”
These days, among bright, energetic university students, very few people still used the system ringtone. Bian Lu just happened to be one of them.
The phone ringing was Bian Lu’s.
By the time Su Yi walked over, the ringtone was already on the verge of dying. She glanced at the caller ID. It was a landline number from Jing City.
Scam calls rarely came from landlines, and they were usually not local. This probably was not a scam or nuisance call.
Without hesitating, she swiped to answer.
“You finally picked up. I’m a nurse from the Second Affiliated Hospital. Where are you? Didn’t the police specifically say you weren’t allowed to run around? Don’t cause trouble for us. Come back quickly!”
So it was a call from the hospital.
Su Yi said, “I’ll come over tomorrow morning at seven.”
“No, you come over now. The head nurse is doing rounds today!”
So what if it was the head nurse? The head nurse was not the police.
Su Yi did not want to go back, but if she did not, then when the police went there tomorrow, the nurse would definitely complain. Her detention might be extended.
If she could switch bodies back with Bian Lu, then let it be extended. The one detained would not be her anyway.
But at the moment, even kissing Bian Lu might not necessarily switch them back. Didn’t television dramas all play out like this? It had to be the right time, the right place, and the right person, or something like that.
What would her right time, place, and person be?
The right time… the time of the dare that night. The right place would be that same private room. The right person—kissing.
That actually sounded more likely to succeed.
It was already too late tonight. She would go back to the hospital first, then carry it out properly tomorrow night.
Yes. That was the plan.
She hung up the phone, went to the walk-in closet, put together an outfit, and carried it back to the bedroom. After chasing out the eyesore that was Bian Lu, she changed clothes. Then she found a set of bedsheets, duvet cover, pillowcase, towel, toothbrush, and other things, and packed them all into a shopping bag.
Once everything was ready, she carried the bag out of the bedroom and walked expressionlessly to Bian Lu.
Bian Lu sat on the wave-shaped leather shoe-changing bench, looking up at her. Her wavy long hair fell over her shoulders, and her dark pupils shone almost transparently under the light. Every blink held a glimmer of starlight.
Bian Lu asked, “You’re leaving?”
Su Yi said, “Mm.”
Bian Lu asked, “Then are we still trying?”
Su Yi said, “We’ll try tomorrow.”
The smile at the corners of Bian Lu’s lips deepened, and the tiny comma-like dimples on both sides of her mouth appeared clearly.
“Oh. Then I’ll brush my teeth and wait for you.”
No matter how enthusiastically she pretended, Su Yi knew very well that Bian Lu had wolfish ambitions!
“Tomorrow night, I’ll come again. Stay here obediently. Don’t blame me for not warning you. If you dare use my body to mess around, I absolutely won’t let you off!”
She still felt that did not have enough intimidation, so after a pause, she added, “I indeed don’t dare die with you. After all, my life is far more valuable than yours, and I never make a losing deal. But even if I don’t drag you down with me, I still have plenty of ways to deal with you. I advise you not to test me lightly. When the time comes, there won’t be any chance for regret.”
“Oh. I know.”
Hmph. She had better truly know.
After throwing down her harsh words, Su Yi brushed back her long hair and turned to leave.
She was not Bian Lu, and she had no intention of following Bian Lu’s fresh campus style. A loose European-style long-sleeved top, a belted hip-hugging A-line skirt, and high heels on her feet instantly stretched the 165-centimeter Bian Lu into a visual 178-centimeter beauty with long legs, a slim waist, and an S-shaped figure. Every step she took carried a sharp, stylish breeze.
She walked to the door and reached out to open the walk-in closet door. Outside was the corridor. Across the corridor was the study, and to the right was the spiral staircase. Beside the stairs was also a small elevator.
She rarely used this small elevator. Only occasionally, when she went up to the rooftop, would she take it.
Just as she was about to walk toward the stairs in her high heels, a hand suddenly reached out from behind and grabbed her wrist.
Everything happened too quickly. She had no time to react and only instinctively looked back, just in time to see an enlarged face swiftly drawing close.
Su Yi: “!!!”
Bian Lu—Bian Lu had grabbed her arm and actually tilted her head to kiss her!
Time passed second by second.
Su Yi did not move, and neither did Bian Lu. The clumsy kiss only stopped at lips pressed against lips, without going any deeper. Very soon, Bian Lu pulled away, but Su Yi still stood frozen in place. Her gaze drifted for a moment before she gave a cold snort.
“If you weren’t wearing my body, I definitely would have thrown up. Your technique is bad enough, and after kissing for so long, we still didn’t switch back. Looks like your character is lacking.”
“What does that have to do with character?”
“Only people with bad character run into evil spirits. You don’t even understand that much?”
“Then your character isn’t good either. Otherwise, why would you run into evil spirits with me?”
Su Yi choked on anger. “I’m just unlucky! I was dragged down by you!”
“Then…” Bian Lu slowly pressed her lips together. They were vivid red and moist. When she opened her mouth again, there was a smile in her voice. “…you do it.”
“Me?”
“Yes. Since my technique is bad and my character is bad too, your technique must be better than mine…”
“Who has better technique than you? Do you think everyone has a messy private life like you?”
Bian Lu did not get angry. She kept smiling. “Then your character must be better than mine. If you kiss me, we’ll definitely switch back.”
Heh. Did she think Su Yi was stupid? Did she think Su Yi could not hear the trap she was digging?
Bian Lu had kissed her and they had not switched back. Naturally, if Su Yi kissed Bian Lu, they would not switch back either. When that happened, wouldn’t Bian Lu then say Su Yi’s character was bad too?
“Don’t try that on me.”
After a heavy cold snort, Su Yi warned again, “Remember what I just said. If you dare use my body recklessly, I’ll make you wish you were dead.”
With that, she turned and stomped downstairs. Behind her, Bian Lu seemed to say something else, but she did not hear it clearly. She almost fled all the way down to the first floor, crossed the hall in her high heels, and went straight out the front door.
The moment she stepped out of the villa, all her strength drained away.
Her legs trembled, her waist went weak, and her whole body leaned limply against the door panel. Her heart was beating wildly, and the gland at the back of her neck was hot and swollen. If not for the blocker patch holding things back, her pheromones would absolutely have spilled out.
She closed her eyes and pressed a hand to her chest, working hard to steady her chaotic breathing.
The feeling of almost being induced was too unpleasant. If Shen Li knew that Su Yi had almost been induced by an omega, she would definitely laugh her teeth out.
But this truly could not be blamed on Su Yi. Her soul was very firm. If blame had to be placed somewhere, it should be on Bian Lu’s body for being too easily teased. Just one kiss, and it had become like this. It was even more wanton than those shameless omegas in little films.
Rumors said that Bian Lu could not stand going even one day without that kind of thing. It seemed that perhaps they were not only rumors. Maybe they were true. There was nothing strange about it either. Pheromone dependency disorder, sexual addiction—things like that did exist.
Whether Bian Lu was sick or whatever else, it was fine if she herself was shameless. But why did she have to drag Su Yi into it too?
Earlier, she had clearly said she could not do it. Why did she suddenly kiss her?
If Su Yi had had even the slightest bit of preparation, she would not have nearly been induced.
Maybe Bian Lu had done it on purpose. She knew what her own body was like and deliberately wanted to catch Su Yi off guard to see her make a fool of herself!
Heh.
As expected of a green tea. Her heart was vicious!
The second-floor balcony hung overhead, covering half the night sky. The other half remained exposed, glittering with starlight, and the Milky Way could faintly be seen.
The night sky was beautiful. The night breeze carried a refreshing coolness. Su Yi’s breathing gradually steadied, and her gland no longer swelled quite so painfully.
That was enough.
She could leave now.
Leaning against the door panel, she was just about to push off with her shoulder and stand properly when the space behind her suddenly vanished.
Su Yi: “?!!”
By instinct, she reached out to grab the doorframe, but before she could catch it, her back collided with a soft embrace.
Bian Lu’s arms circled her as she took half a step back and steadied herself.
“Be careful.”
Careful?
She actually had the nerve to say that?!
Su Yi turned around and pushed Bian Lu away. “Isn’t it all because you suddenly opened the door?!”
“How would I know you were leaning against it?”
“It’s my door. I can lean on it however I want!”
“Oh. Sorry.”
Su Yi: “…”
This was exactly why this kind of person was the most annoying. She apologized so easily that Su Yi could not even argue with her. Her stomach was full of fire with nowhere to vent it.
Holding in her anger, Su Yi disdainfully patted the places Bian Lu had held and frowned as she accused, “Did you already forget what I just said? It’s the middle of the night, and you’re dressed so neatly. Where are you planning to go fool around using my body?”
Bian Lu shook the car keys in her hand. “To take you to the hospital.”
So she had not been trying to sneak out and mess around.
So what?
“You’re going to take me there? You, who doesn’t know how to drive?”
“I didn’t know how to drive, but I still drove your car home.”
“Who knows if you already deducted all the points from my license?”
Bian Lu turned back to lock the front door, then walked out with Su Yi. The car was parked by the courtyard gate, not driven into the garage.
“Now that you mention it, I think I ran a red light, crossed the line, and accidentally turned into a bus-only lane because I didn’t see it clearly. I think I also saw a speed limit sign, but I can’t remember. Anyway, I didn’t slow down.”
“You!”
Su Yi’s head buzzed. The only reason she had not been angered to death was because her survival instinct was too strong.
“Give me the phone!”
With a smile in her eyes, Bian Lu obediently handed the phone to her, then turned back to lock the courtyard gate.
Su Yi flipped through the text messages. There was no traffic violation notification. Then she checked the mini program and did not find any violation record either.
She turned and looked at the smiling, gentle Bian Lu.
Su Yi: “…”
How could there be someone like this in the world? Her mouth was full of lies. One could not even tell which sentence was true and which was false.
Bian Lu opened the passenger door. “Get in.”
“Hmph.”
Su Yi bent down and sat in the passenger seat, fastening her seat belt.
Bian Lu also bent down and sat in the driver’s seat.
The key was inserted, but Bian Lu did not release the handbrake or start driving. Instead, she tilted her head and looked at Su Yi.
“You’re unhappy?”
Another “ah.” Again using Su Yi’s face to say such soft, mushy little sentence endings!
Su Yi rolled her eyes at Bian Lu and ignored her.
“Is it because we didn’t switch back?”
It was fine if she did not mention it. The moment she did, Su Yi grew even more irritated. Truly, she knew exactly which pot not to open.
Bian Lu seemed unable to read her expression and continued smiling as gently as a spring breeze melting into rain.
“So you were leaning at the door instead of leaving because you were thinking about the profound question of how to switch us back?”
“…”
“Or… did my kiss leave you wanting more, so you couldn’t bear to leave and wanted another one?”
Listen to that shameless nonsense!
Su Yi could not hold back her mockery. “I’d get more enjoyment kissing a pig than kissing you!”
“Oh. Then why were you leaning at the door and not leaving?”
“…”
Would she die if she did not dig a trap for Su Yi for one day? Would she?!
Bian Lu’s smile deepened. Her curved eyes were clearly so gentle, yet so hateful at the same time. So hateful that Su Yi’s teeth itched.
Bian Lu asked, “Why aren’t you answering? You clearly went downstairs long ago. Why were you leaning against the door and not leaving?”
Bian Lu said, “I was afraid you’d be unhappy, so I kept my eyes closed the whole time I changed clothes. I didn’t dare touch your body either, so I changed very slowly. I was even afraid I wouldn’t catch up to you. How did you only make it to the door?”
Bian Lu said, “Mm? Say it. Why?”
Bian Lu said, “Su Yi?”
Bian Lu tilted her head and looked at her, smiling like a blooming flower. “Why?”

Su Yi: Why do you have so many whys? Are you A Hundred Thousand Whys?! Hmph!
