The Cold Alpha's Black Lotus O Strategy Plan (GL) - Chapter 9
Inside the bathroom, two discarded scent-blocking patches lay in the trash can beside the sink.
The two pheromone scents gradually spread and intertwined, blending with the mist curling through the air.
After rinsing herself off, Jin Sique wore only a bath towel. From her neck down across the broad expanse of snow-white skin over her fan-shaped shoulder blades, the only adornment was a thin silver chain bearing a diamond ring that glittered beneath the light.
Jin Sique leaned over the edge of the bathtub and moved closer to Lü Zhongcai like a cat.
“How is the water temperature?” she asked softly.
Lü Zhongcai remained silent.
Jin Sique picked up the bath salts beside her, poured some into her palm, and carefully rubbed them over Lü Zhongcai’s body.
Lü Zhongcai gave a lazy hum.
She had beautiful hair. Half of her long, straight black hair was submerged in the water, resembling fine strands of silk—each distinct yet tangled together. It concealed the alluring view beneath, only for a few tantalizing glimpses to appear as the water rippled.
Jin Sique’s face was flushed with a translucent glow, and her lips were soft and rosy.
She lowered her eyes and watched her hand, coated in bath salts, slowly move over the smooth, delicate skin beneath her palm.
Lü Zhongcai was also extremely fair, but beneath that pale, smooth skin was none of an Omega’s softness and gentleness.
Every inch of her seemingly tender skin concealed tremendous power.
It was the kind of power an Omega would instinctively worship in an Alpha.
Fear and admiration.
Desire and dread.
She wanted to escape, yet instinct compelled her to move closer.
Jin Sique’s hands roamed carefully and greedily over Lü Zhongcai’s skin, moving from her shoulders and neck to her collarbones.
She brushed aside the wet black hair and reached the proud curve of her swanlike neck.
Behind it lay the sensitive, vulnerable gland.
Even the lightest touch could provoke an irresistible physical reaction—even in an Alpha.
Jin Sique gently bit her lower lip and involuntarily moved closer to the source of the gunpowder-scented pheromones.
This was the Alpha who had marked her.
After two years of repeated marking, her body would move toward Lü Zhongcai of its own accord, even when her mind resisted.
“Zhongcai…”
Jin Sique could not describe her present condition.
She clearly did not want this, and yet…
She wanted to be marked.
Even a simple mark would be enough.
The restlessness in the gland at the back of her neck and the scorching scent of gunpowder filling her nose were nearly burning away all her reason.
Without warning, her wrist was seized, and her entire body was yanked forward.
Jin Sique nearly fell into the bathtub. She barely steadied herself by bracing her other hand against its edge.
“You want it?” Lü Zhongcai asked.
Pheromones were direct and honest.
Lü Zhongcai did not need to look closely or think deeply to know what Jin Sique wanted.
Jin Sique raised her head.
In this position, restrained as she was, she looked awkward and embarrassed. It formed an unequal contrast with Lü Zhongcai’s calm, effortless composure.
She felt like a clown who had been forcibly stripped of her makeup, exposing the true face concealed beneath the protective mask.
Suddenly, she was nothing more than a creature laid bare beneath the sunlight, obediently following its instincts.
Lü Zhongcai’s cold, indifferent voice stirred wave after wave of heat within Jin Sique.
Humiliation and fury surged into her heart together, causing her to bite her lips tightly.
The Alpha’s pheromones flooded the entire bathroom.
The pervasive scent of gunpowder was filled with powerful aggression, as though it intended to ignite this field of grass and burn it completely to ashes.
This was unequal.
A clown whose mask had been removed should not continue to be mocked and toyed with by the audience.
A Peking Opera performer should only reveal herself after stepping onto the stage.
No…
Jin Sique struggled, but the hold on her only tightened.
Lü Zhongcai dragged her closer until half her body extended over the bathtub.
To maintain her balance, Jin Sique was forced to find another place to brace her hand.
In her panic, she chose a spot inside the tub, between two snow-white legs.
“I…”
Jin Sique’s face flushed.
Lü Zhongcai held her breath slightly.
Her vision had already begun to blur—partly because of the steam in the bathroom and partly because the scent of the Omega’s aroused pheromones was making it equally difficult for her to restrain herself.
“A suppressant…” Jin Sique reminded her quietly.
Lü Zhongcai tightened her grip on the slender, pale wrist beneath her palm.
“A suppressant or me?”
At that moment, the pheromones seemed to erupt throughout Jin Sique’s body.
Every open pore eagerly waited to be filled by another force.
Jin Sique could barely form a sentence.
“I… I…”
Water splashed loudly.
Lü Zhongcai supported herself and sat on the edge of the bathtub.
Jin Sique regained some clarity. She picked up a bathrobe and wrapped it around Lü Zhongcai, then helped her into the bedroom before her own strength completely abandoned her.
Only the wall lamp beside the bed had been turned on.
Its dim, disorienting glow stretched the two figures beside the bed, casting dark shadows across the carpet.
Lü Zhongcai sat on the edge of the bed, her powerless legs hanging down.
She closed her eyes and tilted her head back slightly, her hair moving gently in the warm air.
Jin Sique held the hair dryer toward Lü Zhongcai and carefully massaged her scalp.
Lü Zhongcai’s hair was thick, black, naturally smooth, and perfectly straight.
It was just like her—always carrying a cold, politely distant air that kept everyone thousands of miles away.
Ordinary Alphas were not like her.
Jin Sique recalled the Alphas she had encountered. Most carried arrogant expressions, and many bore traces of indulgence in their eyes. Whenever an Omega passed, their gazes would inevitably follow.
It was too easy for an Alpha to obtain an Omega, so most of them freely indulged in pleasure.
But Lü Zhongcai was different.
She was cold and distant. Her formal courtesy only made her more unapproachable, while her reserved silence seemed to place a layer of abstinent protection around her.
And that was indeed true.
During their two years together, Lü Zhongcai had rarely indulged herself.
However, near the outer corner of Lü Zhongcai’s right eye was a small, pale-red beauty mark.
Whenever desire overflowed, that mark looked as though someone had pressed rouge onto it, staining it a deeper crimson.
The hair dryer roared, scattering the Alpha’s pheromones through the air.
Jin Sique’s breathing inevitably grew heavier.
“The matter at your university has already been handled,” Lü Zhongcai suddenly said, her cold voice utterly calm.
Jin Sique froze, then remembered what she meant.
“I told you there was no need—”
“Go to sleep,” Lü Zhongcai said.
Jin Sique nodded.
She put away the hair dryer, removed the necklace from around her neck, and placed it on the bedside table.
After finishing, she leaned down to help Lü Zhongcai remove hers as well.
The Omega’s hair brushed across Lü Zhongcai’s nose.
The cold necklace slid over her skin, sending a current through her body and igniting the pheromones in the air.
“Hold it,” Lü Zhongcai said.
Jin Sique’s entire body stiffened.
The reaction lasted only an instant before she concealed it perfectly.
Lü Zhongcai pinched Jin Sique’s chin and gave her a light kiss.
Only after separating did she say quietly, “You still haven’t explained what happened at the bar.”
Jin Sique lowered her head, playing with Lü Zhongcai’s necklace and ring in her hands.
The silver chain was extremely thin, so delicate that supporting the gemstone ring already seemed to strain it to its limit.
She had to be careful not to snap or tear it.
The silver chain bound the Omega’s hands.
She lay on her side, her knees pressing into the soft bedding. Like a small animal curling in upon itself, she lowered her head and tightly wrapped herself within her own body.
“I…” Jin Sique said. “I don’t want to explain.”
Only the rapid rise and fall of her chest revealed the violent, furious emotions surging through her at that moment.
Pheromones seeped into every opening.
When they became sufficiently concentrated, the Alpha did not even need to touch her. The Omega could sink into the drenched mire of sensation, releasing again and again with overwhelming intensity.
Jin Sique was beginning to lose control of her expression.
She kept her head lowered, doing her best not to look at Lü Zhongcai’s face.
Yet when her gaze settled on the Alpha’s limp, powerless legs, the rage in her chest—intertwined with humiliation and pleasure—burned even more fiercely.
Lü Zhongcai…
This Alpha could no longer manage even the most basic aspects of daily life without her, yet she still made Jin Sique unable to refuse or resist.
