A Pillowside Moon (Sisters ABO) - Chapter 1
The clock pointed to five o’clock. There was still half an hour until the end of the workday. The veteran employees of Moon Company were already used to the sight of their notoriously workaholic boss leaving early for once. A new employee who didn’t know any better tried to gossip with the seniors, only to receive the simple explanation: “The boss is always like this every year on this day.”
At the end of the day, it was simply because today was her younger sister’s birthday. No matter how busy she was, Liu Chuhan would always make time on this day to spend it with her sister.
Liu Chuhan went to the garage, drove her car out, and while waiting at a red light, she glanced down at the delicate watch on her left wrist. It seemed to remind her of something; the corners of her thin lips curved slightly, and her beautiful upturned eyes made her look like she was in a very good mood.
This watch was a gift from her sister Liu Changxi on her birthday last year. It wasn’t particularly expensive, but she treasured it dearly and wore it every day. Her friends often teased her when they saw how much she cherished it, saying her little sister had her completely wrapped around her finger.
Whenever Liu Chuhan heard such comments, she would simply glance at them lightly and let them talk.
The company wasn’t far from home. By avoiding rush hour, Liu Chuhan only took a little over ten minutes to get back. She picked up the birthday gift on the passenger seat and smiled again.
It was a set of paintbrushes her sister had wanted for a long time. She would surely like it.
Liu Chuhan pressed the elevator button, her mind drifting a little.
When she graduated from university, her parents were in a serious car accident and died on the spot. From then on, only she and her sister had each other. At the time, she was busy dealing with all the aftermath and often neglected eating and sleeping. Her sister, who was only in her first year of high school then, quietly began taking care of her—learning how to cook, matching meals, making sure she ate three meals a day, and urging her to sleep. It was thanks to her that Liu Chuhan barely managed not to collapse.
In the blink of an eye, three years had passed. The soft girl who used to call her “sister” was now about to turn eighteen—an adult.
The elevator dinged. Liu Chuhan snapped back to reality and stepped out.
“Changxi?” Liu Chuhan opened the door and caught a faint, pleasant aroma. She walked past the entryway and glanced at the kitchen. The door was tightly closed—Liu Changxi was clearly cooking inside.
Hearing the sound, Liu Changxi opened the door and peeked out. The moment she saw Liu Chuhan, she flashed a soft, obedient smile and blinked. “Sister, go change your clothes first. Dinner will be ready soon~”
Liu Chuhan gave her a helpless look. “It’s your birthday today. Didn’t we agree that I would cook?”
Liu Chuhan could cook. While her food wasn’t as good as her sister’s, it was still edible.
Liu Changxi stuck her tongue out at her and smiled. “You worked hard at the office today. Just rest when you get home. I’m on summer vacation and have nothing to do anyway. Cooking is easy for me.”
She was currently on summer break between her third year of high school and first year of university, so she really was free at home.
Unable to argue with her, Liu Chuhan placed the gift on the living room coffee table and went to her room to change.
When she came out wearing loose, comfortable loungewear, Liu Changxi had just turned off the stove and was about to plate the dishes. Liu Chuhan stepped forward, took the spatula from her, and gestured for her sister to wait outside.
Her usually obedient sister, however, refused to leave. Liu Changxi circled behind her, gently hugged her from the back, and rested her head on her shoulder, watching as Liu Chuhan plated the food.
Her sister had always been very clingy. Liu Chuhan was already used to this position. She set down the spatula, picked up the plate, then tilted her head and lightly bumped her sister, signaling her to let go and head out.
Liu Changxi nuzzled against her for a moment before finally releasing her. She picked up the dishes she had already stir-fried earlier, and the two of them carried everything to the dining table together.
The dinner wasn’t extravagant, but it was all dishes the sisters liked. Liu Chuhan and Liu Changxi sat facing each other. Noticing her sister’s expectant gaze, Liu Chuhan smiled gently and brought out the gift.
“What did Sister get me?” Liu Changxi’s eyes sparkled as she took the gift, but instead of opening it right away, she asked Liu Chuhan.
Liu Chuhan’s eyes curved. “Open it and you’ll see.”
Liu Changxi blinked. “Opening it directly is boring. How about this? Let me guess what Sister got me. If I guess correctly, Sister has to agree to one request of mine.”
Liu Chuhan chuckled. “What request do you want me to agree to? Haven’t I always agreed to everything you ask for?”
“Eh, saying it out loud would ruin the fun,” Liu Changxi whined cutely. “Just let me guess once, okay?”
It was just a little game between sisters, nothing serious. Liu Chuhan raised her chin, signaling her sister to go ahead.
Liu Changxi’s deer-like eyes curved into crescents. She pretended to think seriously for a moment before slowly saying, “I guess… Sister got me that set of paintbrushes I wanted the most, right?”
She had mentioned it to Liu Chuhan a month ago during a chat. She knew her sister would remember.
The game had no difficulty at all. Liu Changxi smiled as she looked at her sister. Liu Chuhan only gave her a doting look and sighed. “You guessed correctly. Go on, what do you want me to agree to?”
Liu Changxi smiled mysteriously. She pulled out a bottle of wine from somewhere and placed it on the table, then said softly, “Sister, drink with me.”
Liu Chuhan glanced at the wine and wasn’t too surprised. Her sister had always been well-behaved; she probably wouldn’t ask for anything outrageous. She used to stop Changxi from drinking because she was underage. Now that her sister had turned eighteen, having a drink together wasn’t a big deal.
Liu Chuhan watched as Liu Changxi poured wine into two glasses and handed her one.
Liu Changxi smiled and raised her glass. Liu Chuhan clinked glasses with her and they both drank.
After a pleasant dinner, Liu Chuhan cleared the table and put the dishes in the dishwasher while Liu Changxi digested a bit before planning to take a bath.
They watched a variety show and chatted casually. Around eight o’clock, Liu Changxi checked the time and asked, “Sister, are you showering now?”
Liu Chuhan thought for a moment and nodded.
It was summer and the temperature was high. Even with the air conditioning on, it was easy to sweat. Taking a shower early would feel more comfortable.
Liu Chuhan and Liu Changxi stood up at the same time. There were two bathrooms at home—one outside the guest room and one in the master bedroom. Alpha and Omega bathrooms weren’t to be mixed, so each sister had her own fixed bathroom.
Perhaps because of the wine, Liu Chuhan felt unusually hot all over. After showering, the feeling grew even stronger. She licked her lips uncomfortably and headed to the kitchen to get a glass of water.
As soon as she opened the door, she saw her sister standing right outside her bedroom door, holding a glass of water in one hand and raising the other as if about to knock.
“Sister, your face is so red,” Liu Changxi tilted her head and naturally reached out to stroke Liu Chuhan’s cheek. With an innocent expression, she asked, “Was the water too hot while you were showering?”
Her sister’s hand was slightly cool and felt comfortable against her skin. Liu Chuhan didn’t resist. She raised her hand to cover the back of Liu Changxi’s hand and said somewhat dizzily, “Maybe the wine has a strong after-effect… Changxi, did you need something from me?”
“I wanted to chat with Sister.” Liu Changxi smiled and gently shook the glass in her hand. “I thought you might want water after showering, so I brought you a glass.”
Her sister had always been thoughtful. Liu Chuhan didn’t suspect anything. She took the water, stepped back, and let her sister into the room.
Liu Chuhan’s bedroom was simply decorated, just like her usual style. Liu Changxi familiarly dimmed the lights a little, making the room feel warmer and cozier.
Liu Chuhan closed the door, took a few sips from the glass, but the burning heat inside her body showed no sign of subsiding. She frowned, beginning to wonder if her rut was coming.
Alpha ruts were spaced far apart. Liu Chuhan thought back and realized it seemed to be around these days. She turned to get the suppressant from the bedside table, only to witness a shocking scene.
Her cute and obedient little sister was locking the drawer of her bedside table.
“Changxi?” Liu Chuhan was stunned. “Why are you locking my cabinet?”
Liu Changxi smiled sweetly, pocketed the key, took the glass of water from her sister’s hand and set it aside, then leaned into her sister’s arms with an extremely intimate gesture. She rested her chin on Liu Chuhan’s neck, blew gently into her ear, and whispered with a low laugh:
“Sister, do you feel very hot?”
Liu Chuhan’s ears were extremely sensitive. The warm, moist breath on her earlobe made her whole body tremble, and the inexplicable heat inside her surged even stronger.
Something was wrong… Liu Chuhan bit her lip, trying to suppress her impulses. She braced one hand against the wall and tried to push her sister away with the other. She forced herself to stay calm. “My rut is coming soon. I need the suppressant—”
A soft chuckle interrupted her. The next second, she heard her sister’s calm explanation:
“It’s not your rut.”
“I drugged you.”
“I put it in the wine. I drank it too.”
Liu Changxi honestly confessed everything she had done. She lifted herself slightly from Liu Chuhan’s arms, met her sister’s incredulous gaze, and gave her usual standard obedient smile:
“Though judging by the current situation, the drug might have triggered your rut early.”
“So…” She smiled warmly and gently pulled open her loose nightgown, revealing her fair, slender neck. With an extremely innocent expression, she asked, “Sister, can you smell my scent?”
The familiar rose fragrance gently spread. As soon as Liu Chuhan caught the scent of her sister’s pheromones, the restlessness in her body intensified. Her rising body temperature was almost burning away her reason.
“Every time Sister’s rut comes, you use suppressants. Have you ever thought about how I feel?” The pretty girl tilted her head and complained, her fingertips lightly brushing over her own entrance. “Sister’s pheromones smell so good. Every time I smell them, I get completely soaked. You’re fine after using suppressants, but no one takes care of me when I’m suffering.”
She buried herself back into Liu Chuhan’s arms, inhaling her sister’s cool, gentle woody scent. With a soft gasp, she murmured, “Can Sister stop using suppressants, please?”
As she spoke, she took Liu Chuhan’s hand and guided it down toward the apex of her thighs. The last of Liu Chuhan’s reason made her want to pull away, but she found she had no strength at all and couldn’t resist Liu Changxi’s movements.
Liu Changxi led her hand all the way down and breathed into her ear, “Let me be Sister’s Omega, okay?” Then she let out a soft, whimpering moan:
“I’m so wet already.”
Her fingertips finally reached their destination. Liu Chuhan felt a wave of dizziness. The girl’s most secret place was already completely drenched—just a light touch coated her fingers with slick.
Her little sister was already soaking wet.
