After Transmigrating as a Scum Omega, I Had a Happy Ending with My Ex-Wife [Entertainment Circle] - Chapter 13
As the camerawomen moved from dormitory to dormitory, Su Hua and Lou Kexin finally returned.
As luck would have it, a camerawoman had just reached Su Hua’s dorm. Her roommates had already changed into their practice gear and were chatting away, trying to maximize their screen time.
When Su Hua pushed the door open and walked in, the lens was shoved right in her face.
Viewers had just been discussing her, so they were surprised by her sudden appearance. The girl was wearing a simple tracksuit with her long hair tied in a ponytail. Her face filled the screen; far from making her face look large, the pulled-back hair highlighted her features perfectly.
With graceful brows and phoenix-like eyes, her focused gaze as she scanned the room was enough to take one’s breath away.
【Ahhh! This is the first time I’ve truly appreciated Su Hua’s looks.】
【Me too. It’s only because she always wore such heavy makeup before.】
【It’s not just the makeup; it’s the aura.】
【Now that you mention it, you’re right.】
【Her skin is so good, it looks like it would break if you blew on it. I really want to touch it.】
While a “face-shoving” close-up might expose flaws in others, Su Hua’s face was incredibly resilient. Even under such scrutiny, she was undeniably stunning.
“Su Hua, where did you go?” Li Han walked up to her, intimately linking her arm with Su Hua’s while asking with a smile.
The camera was fixed on Su Hua, so by standing next to her, Li Han could enter the shot. Su Hua was a walking topic right now; hovering around her was a guaranteed way to “rub” for screen time.
Su Hua glanced at her and smiled, choosing not to expose her. “I went for a run.”
“Oh? Going for a run so early?” Li Han held onto her arm tightly, refusing to let go.
Although Su Hua didn’t call her out, she didn’t want to be used as a prop. She smiled faintly and reminded her: “I need to wash up now.”
Li Han acted as if she hadn’t heard, standing her ground. When Su Hua tried to move, Li Han gripped her arm even tighter to prevent her from leaving. If Su Hua left, the camera crew would follow, and Li Han wanted to squeeze out at least one more minute of footage.
Seeing she wouldn’t let go, Su Hua shifted her target. “Camerawoman sister, are you heading to the next room now?”
The woman carrying the camera had short, ear-length hair, large hoop earrings, heavy makeup, and a grey utility jumpsuit. It wasn’t that no one had ever called her “sister” before, but the way it sounded coming from this little girl was particularly pleasant.
She had been a photographer in the industry for years; she saw right through Li Han’s little schemes. She also noticed that Su Hua was only tolerating it to avoid making the other girl look bad on camera.
How could someone so polite and considerate be a person of ‘poor character’?
The photographer, Bai Xi, peeked out from behind the viewfinder, smiled at Su Hua, and gave her a quick, knowing wink.
Su Hua’s smile, which had started to fade, brightened instantly. Because the camera was on her, she couldn’t say anything else, so she let the smile speak for her.
Bai Xi gave a signal to the staff behind her and headed out.
Li Han was displeased. As soon as the crew left, she let go of Su Hua’s arm as if it were a poisonous insect.
【Is it my imagination, or was Li Han trying to leach off Su Hua’s screen time?】
【I felt the same way. Su Hua’s arm was actually pinched red; you can tell how much force she was using.】
【Heavens, does Li Han think this is a harem? She’s out here acting in a ‘Palace Intrigue’ drama.】
【Put a hundred girls together and it is palace intrigue.】
【But Su Hua and little darling Kexin look so harmonious.】
【Did you notice? When Su Hua called her ‘sister,’ the camerawoman gave her a sign and Su Hua smiled so sweetly.】
【Ahhh! I saw it too! I didn’t dare say anything since no one else mentioned it.】
【I really want to know what the photographer did to make Su Hua so happy.】
Su Hua, unaware of the online chatter, took her practice uniform and a towel and headed to the shower. Every dorm had its own bathroom, which was very convenient. Since the others had already finished, Su Hua didn’t have to rush and took a thorough shower.
The practice uniform for Class B was pink—the pinkest among all the classes. Class A was black (a versatile color), Class C was green, Class D was blue, and Class F was purple.
When Su Hua stepped out of the dorm, she saw a sea of these mixed colors. Because Su Hua had prompted the camerawoman to leave earlier, Li Han was still in a foul mood and kept rolling her eyes at her. Su Hua had no reaction—not because she was ignoring her, but because she simply hadn’t noticed.
Each of the five classes had its own dedicated practice room. Su Hua followed the color of her uniform to the Class B room.
“Wow~ it’s so big!”
“This practice room is huge.”
“I just went next door to check Class A; their room is even bigger.”
“Really? I want to see!”
A crowd of girls swarmed over to peek at Class A. Su Hua didn’t go; she found an empty corner and began stretching and warming up.
By the time the curious trainees returned, the room was packed. Compared to Class A, Class B was slightly smaller, but the rooms for Class C, D, and F were smaller still. The hierarchy of grades was reflected even in their practice space.
While everyone was chatting, the door opened and Cui Manxuan walked in. The girls cheered, “Hello, Teacher Manxuan!”
“Hello, everyone.” Cui Manxuan was infected by the girls’ youthful energy and wore a bright smile. She clapped her hands and said, “Line up, everyone. I’m going to play the theme song video. Watch closely, and then I’ll teach it to you twice.”
“Yes, Teacher!”
Because the schedule was tight, no one wanted to fall behind. They all watched the screen intently. The theme song was a very upbeat, youthful track that suited their age perfectly.
When the video ended for the first time, many trainees were in a daze. If they remembered the beginning, they forgot the end; if they focused on the end, they couldn’t remember what happened at the start.
“What do I do? I can’t remember anything.”
“Me too. I only remember a few moves, but that’s not enough.”
“I’m doomed. Am I going to be eliminated?”
A wave of groans filled the room. “Teacher Manxuan, can you play it again?”
“I’ll play it one more time, then we start official practice.”
Feeling petty toward Su Hua, Li Han used her shoulder to shove her aside. Lifting her chin, she said, “You probably learned it in one go, right? If you know it, give your spot to someone else.”
Su Hua didn’t say a word. She simply pointed to the real-time monitoring camera directly in front of them. Li Han’s expression shifted instantly—her first instinct was to glare at Su Hua, but Su Hua simply twitched the corner of her mouth in a smirk.
