- After Transmigrating into a Scum Alpha, I Was Targeted by the Flirty Boss Omega
- Chapter 18 - Open Your Mouth
Wen Min’s forehead was slightly warm, making Shen Fu’s palm feel cool.
She instinctively pulled her neck back, moving her head away as if to escape Shen Fu’s grasp. She tried her best not to look at Shen Fu, licked her lip, and said, “I’m fine…”
Shen Fu’s voice clearly entered Yu Shu Tao’s ear. Since she hadn’t interacted much with Shen Fu, and the voice was slightly distorted over the phone, she didn’t recognize Shen Fu. She just assumed Wen Min was fooling around again and reminded her, “Don’t play too late. Don’t be late.” Beauty is distracting.
Wen Min was severely misunderstood, and it was the original host’s fault. Fortunately, Shen Fu didn’t delve into that remark. Wen Min bit the bullet and said, “…Okay.” Yu Shu Tao quickly hung up, without another word of unnecessary small talk.
As Wen Min focused on driving, she felt a weight in her pocket. She glanced over and saw that Shen Fu was helping her put her phone back. Wen Min looked at Shen Fu, feeling her breath thicken slightly, and said, blushing, “Th-thank you…”
Just then, a car was about to overtake them from behind. Shen Fu’s gaze turned cold. More worried than accusatory, she reminded her, “Watch the road!” Wen Min quickly pulled her gaze back, stepped on the brakes in time, and sighed in relief. “I’m sorry…”
Hearing this, a faint, unreadable smile played in Shen Fu’s eyes. She suddenly said out of the blue:
“Pine-scented.”
W-what?! That was the scent of her pheromones… Alpha pheromones don’t usually leak out easily; they only subtly release when they lose control. The only recent incident that made her lose self-control was what happened in the examination room.
She remembers the kiss?!
Thinking this, Wen Min’s whole ears turned red.
“I…” More embarrassing than responding to this was the sudden rumble from Wen Min’s stomach, loud as thunder, as if she hadn’t eaten in a hundred years. Thinking back, she realized she hadn’t eaten much all day. She hadn’t felt hungry before because her nerves were on high alert when she was with them, but now that she was relaxed, the hunger instantly caught up.
“Ahem…” Wen Min cleared her throat. Before she could properly end the previous topic, she rushed to hide her embarrassment. “There’s traffic. We’ll be home in a little while.”
“Let’s go eat first,” Shen Fu didn’t dwell on the topic. She turned her head, glanced at Wen Min’s stomach, and then looked at her meaningfully. “I’m hungry.”
Whether true or false, the suggestion made Wen Min feel genuinely warm, like she was being given a way out. Wen Min smiled involuntarily. “Okay.”
She parked the car and found a bustling restaurant nearby. Because she wasn’t wearing a mask or hat, the moment she entered, a crowd recognized her and quickly swarmed her, immediately separating her from Shen Fu. Bold fans came right up to her with their phones for a photo, while the more timid ones found good angles for candid shots. Out of professional courtesy, Wen Min didn’t refuse them, taking the opportunity to feel the heat of a film queen.
So this is what it feels like to be adored.
After a few minutes, the novelty wore off, and Wen Min started to feel helpless. She wanted to leave, but felt awkward asking directly since she lacked experience. Just then, those familiar hands reappeared in her sight and grabbed her hand. The hands were warm, instantly calming Wen Min.
“Excuse me.” Shen Fu expressionlessly pushed aside the crowded passersby, constantly leading the way for Wen Min. In less than a minute, she pulled Wen Min out of the crowd. Shen Fu’s clear voice, her dignified, intimidating face, and her composed manner were all deeply imprinted in Wen Min’s mind.
This action immediately caused a sensation among the surrounding fans and passersby. They shoved their cameras at Shen Fu’s face, discussing her animatedly. “Who is this person?” “Is she Sis’s new assistant? Why is her temper so bad? Is she treating Sis poorly?” “She brought her to a small restaurant like this; isn’t that treating her poorly?” “Seriously, put it online to criticize her and tell the company to get Sis a better assistant.”
Shen Fu didn’t hear their words, or even deign to give them a look. Her aloof demeanor made her aura fully open, making others afraid to approach and instinctively move away. Her audacity left Wen Min stunned. Wen Min was at a loss. She hadn’t expected Shen Fu to be even more composed than her. As expected of the show’s sponsor. She’s clearly a veteran who has seen big scenes, much more stable than a minor supporting character like me.
She quietly asked, “Should we change to another restaurant?”
Shen Fu led her to a corner table, seemingly unfazed. She said indifferently, “This is fine.” The moment they sat down, the surrounding customers started whispering and pulling out their phones, aiming at Wen Min’s face, then shifting to Shen Fu, scrutinizing her from head to toe.
Less than a minute after sitting down, a waiter, eyes full of anticipation yet nervous, walked up to their table, handing them a thin menu. “May I ask what you two would like to order?”
Wen Min was about to take the menu when she realized her other hand was still being held by Shen Fu. For some reason, her first thought wasn’t to let go, but to look at Shen Fu. Shen Fu also just realized they were still holding hands. She gently released Wen Min’s hand, casually smoothed her hair, and subtly took two deep breaths. Wen Min flexed her hand, realizing her palm was covered in a thin layer of sweat. Thank goodness Shen Fu wasn’t holding my palm, or my nervousness would have been exposed.
She offered the menu to Shen Fu first. “You order. Eat more…” She wanted to say something private that outsiders shouldn’t hear, not even read from her lips. She leaned closer to Shen Fu’s ear. A faint scent of strawberries drifted into her nose, like a sweet, non-cloying dessert that intensified her hunger. Sensing her proximity, Shen Fu asked, “What is it?”
For a moment, Shen Fu’s voice snapped Wen Min back to attention. Wen Min shielded her mouth with her hand and whispered, “Don’t let the babies go hungry.” It was her sincere concern.
“Mhm.” Shen Fu softly acknowledged. At an angle Wen Min couldn’t see, those cold eyes curved slightly, flashing a warmth that wasn’t usually there.
The crowd couldn’t hear what they were saying. They only saw Wen Min’s gesture, which immediately elicited gasps of surprise, and theories about Shen Fu’s identity began to fly. “What’s her background? Sis looks so aggrieved.” “Exactly, how dare she be so arrogant while working for Sis?” “This is ridiculous. Quickly post it on Weibo and tell everyone to condemn her, so the company can replace Sis with a better assistant.”
Wen Min was completely unaware of their discussions. She and Shen Fu quickly finished ordering. Perhaps because of her fame, which could be used as a gimmick for this small restaurant, the owner didn’t dare neglect Wen Min. The food was served shortly after.
To avoid being overly intimate, Wen Min didn’t serve Shen Fu, only verbally encouraging her to eat more. Looking at the table of well-balanced dishes, she said, “Eat more.”
Just then, due to the close proximity, or perhaps because the person spoke deliberately loudly, Shen Fu overheard the conversation between two women. The people at the table behind them looked at Shen Fu with a hint of malice. In a rather mean tone, they whispered to their companion, “What’s with her expression? Does she think Wen Min is being polite to her because she’s afraid of her?” “I don’t know. Maybe a nobody celebrity, or a staff member with connections.”
Hearing this, Shen Fu showed no reaction. She ate a few bites, then pondered for a moment while looking at a plate of stir-fried meat closer to Wen Min. A hint of mischief flashed in her eyes. She said something that made Wen Min’s imagination run wild: “Feed me.”
“Cough, cough…” Startled, Wen Min choked several times, quickly covering her mouth with a tissue. Her cheeks began to burn. She looked at Shen Fu in disbelief and asked, “Wh-what?” Did she hear that right? Shen Fu wants her to feed her?! Isn’t that something only couples do?
A subtle smile appeared on Shen Fu’s inscrutable face. She explained matter-of-factly, “I can’t reach it.” Wen Min glanced at those mesmerizing eyes and quickly looked away, afraid of exposing her embarrassing thought. So that’s the reason. I almost overthought it… I thought she wanted to experience what a relationship feels like.
She obediently picked up a piece of meat, cupping it underneath with her other hand, and brought it to Shen Fu’s mouth. At that moment, Shen Fu heard the people behind her curse under their breath. A sense of vengeful satisfaction filled her. She looked at Wen Min with a hidden meaning and said, “Delicious.”
Wen Min thought that was the end of it. Just as her taut nerves relaxed, Shen Fu casually picked up a dish in front of her and gently brought it to Wen Min’s mouth. Her natural and practiced manner made it seem like they often fed each other. She invited Wen Min to try it with her eyes. “This is delicious too.”
“…” Wen Min looked at the food Shen Fu held to her mouth, then scanned the crowd with their sharp gazes, starting to struggle. Eating it would seem too intimate. Not eating it would seem impolite and embarrass Shen Fu.
As she hesitated, Shen Fu leaned closer, making it hard to tell if she was threatening or teasing her. She whispered, “Open your mouth.”
“…” Before Wen Min could comply, Shen Fu’s gaze fell on Wen Min’s lips. In a tone that showed she meant what she said, she uttered a phrase that made Wen Min’s heart skip a beat.
“Do you want me to feed you the way I fed you the medicine?”
