After Transmigrating into a Scum Alpha, I Was Targeted by the Flirty Boss Omega - Chapter 21
She said, “Boss Shen.”
Shen Fu paused in her tracks and turned back with a soft, “Mhm?”
“Wait for me a moment.”
As soon as the words left her lips, Wen Min ran straight into the shop.
She wanted to buy some items to mask her appearance—like masks and hats—before more people recognized her. If possible, she wanted to get some for Shen Fu as well, to prevent her from being dragged further into the center of the public relations crisis.
Fortunately, the shop had masks and hats, but the styles were all quite similar. If both she and Shen Fu wore them, they would look a bit like a “couple’s set.”
She wondered if the other woman would mind…
Lost in thought, she hesitated over a particular mask design. It had a cute pig nose embroidered on it, and the only colors left were pink and black. She couldn’t help but imagine Shen Fu wearing the pink piggy mask; that cold, elegant face would surely look a bit hilarious.
The thought made her chuckle softly. She reached out, intending to take both masks down, when a pale, delicate hand entered her field of vision and snatched the pink mask away.
“Oh…”
She turned around, her eyes lighting up. She discovered that Shen Fu had come to stand behind her at some point and was now expressionlessly holding the pink mask.
“Ahem…” Wen Min cleared her throat, stifling her laughter and pretending to be calm as she asked, “Do you like that one?”
She hadn’t expected the serious Boss Shen to like such a silly mask.
To her surprise, the corners of Shen Fu’s lips curled slightly into a mischievous smile. She teased, “It suits you.”
Before the words had fully landed, she suddenly leaned in close to Wen Min, holding the mask up to Wen Min’s face to measure it.
Abruptly, she let out a low, bewitching laugh. She pulled out her phone with one hand, snapped a photo of Wen Min in that pose, and held the screen up to Wen Min’s eyes. “It really does suit you.”
As she drew near, that faint strawberry scent drifted into Wen Min’s nose again, making her instinctively swallow.
Wen Min poked out her tongue. Looking at herself through the lens, she said shyly, “R-really…?”
Shen Fu didn’t reply. She turned her back to her and said, “The black one is mine.”
Wen Min slowly took down the black mask and followed behind Shen Fu.
From an angle where Wen Min couldn’t see, a flash of tenderness crossed Shen Fu’s eyes.
As for the hats, there wasn’t much to choose from; they were all solid black and looked like they would provide good coverage. Shen Fu grabbed two in one go and walked quickly to the counter to pay.
When it came to shopping, she had never had much patience.
Suddenly, Wen Min called out to her again, “Wait!”
Shen Fu turned slowly and gazed deeply at Wen Min. “What now?”
Wen Min was standing in front of a necklace, her eyes shining as she held it up to inspect it. She couldn’t look away, sighing in admiration, “This is beautiful…”
It would suit Shen Fu perfectly. She would look stunning in it.
I want to buy it for her.
Following Wen Min’s movements, Shen Fu glanced at the necklace.
It was very delicate, with a silver chain that looked elegant and sophisticated, featuring a vibrant strawberry pendant in the center. It was the last one left on the shelf.
Thinking Wen Min liked it for herself, Shen Fu said indifferently, “If you like it, buy it.”
That wealthy, overbearing manner made it seem as if money grew on trees.
Having said that, she walked toward the clerk, pointed at Wen Min—who was still too captivated by the necklace to move—and pulled out her phone.
“I’ll pay for everything together.”
