After Transmigrating into a Scum Alpha, I Was Targeted by the Flirty Boss Omega - Chapter 20
Only then did Wen Min realize she had completely forgotten to buckle her seatbelt; she had been far too preoccupied watching Shen Fu’s reactions.
She wondered what Shen Fu was thinking…
I must look quite like a lecherous Alpha, don’t I?
Wen Min held the seatbelt, feeling as though it still carried a trace of Shen Fu’s warmth. “Th-thank you…”
Shen Fu didn’t dwell on what just happened. While her driving skills were on par with Wen Min’s, her style was polar opposite—driving with a reckless, aggressive momentum that was as bold as her personality.
Wen Min looked back and saw many cars following them; they had to be the swarm of reporters. She wasn’t sure if Shen Fu was trying to lose them, but the speed was so high that Wen Min instinctively gripped the car’s handle.
“This situation… should I explain it to the company and have them send some security?”
She really didn’t know how to handle this. If they went straight home, wouldn’t her address be exposed? It was one thing for her own privacy to be compromised, but she would feel truly guilty if she dragged Shen Fu into it.
Shen Fu’s train of thought was beyond Wen Min’s comprehension. She suddenly said, “How about we go straight to the airport?”
“What?!”
To the airport?!
“Aren’t you going to film the show at midnight?”
She had taken everything Yu Shu Tao said to heart. Since they had to go to the airport sooner or later, they might as well go now.
Wen Min spoke truthfully, “Yes, but Miss Yu has already booked my…”
The company had already booked her tickets, and likely the hotel and everything else. Going so suddenly would probably mess up Yu Shu Tao’s original plans.
“Tell her to cancel it,” Shen Fu said before Wen Min could finish, her tone leaving no room for argument. “I’ll compensate you for any losses.”
“But the luggage…” If they went early, she wouldn’t have prepared anything.
“Is there anything you absolutely cannot do without?”
That question actually stumped Wen Min.
She wasn’t someone who owned much to begin with. Back when she joined film crews, her luggage was usually the lightest among everyone. Now that the belongings weren’t even hers, she truly didn’t feel a strong need to bring anything. Especially daily necessities—they would have to be bought eventually anyway.
After thinking for a moment, she said, “No…”
“Then we’ll buy everything once we get there.”
Upon arriving at the airport, Shen Fu was as good as her word. She parked the car in the lot, made a call to have someone pick it up later, bought two tickets for a flight departing shortly, and led Wen Min to the self-service machines.
Wen Min followed her to collect the tickets. Seeing two tickets print out, she asked in surprise, “Are you going too?”
She had initially thought Shen Fu just wanted her to get out of town alone, but she hadn’t expected the other woman to go with her.
They were actually having a spontaneous trip!
At this question, Shen Fu gave her a playful look and asked with a rising lilt, “You don’t know?”
“Know what?” Wen Min shook her head, unaware that the new guest joining the show was Shen Fu.
Shen Fu handed Wen Min her ticket and walked toward the security checkpoint, keeping her in suspense: “You’ll find out tomorrow.”
Once past security, the reporters couldn’t follow. They could only watch as the pair’s silhouettes disappeared from their lenses. However, they weren’t worried—they already had enough material to let their imaginations run wild.
The airport wasn’t very crowded at this hour. Most people waiting for flights were either on their phones or resting with their eyes closed; almost no one noticed Wen Min and her companion.
There was still a little time before the flight was scheduled to take off. Just as they were about to sit down in the waiting lounge, Wen Min caught sight of the only shop still open and suddenly called out to Shen Fu.
